Chapter 494: You scared her

Alice blinked her eyes repeatedly, with her body froze beneath him. Noah trapped her in such a way making sure her stomach was untouched while she remained caged in between his arms.

"W-what do you mean?" Baffled she finally managed to ask.

Alice understood the meaning behind his words but still acted dumb. After what she did to him last night, she knew he would come after her, but she never expected him to be this quick.

Noah watched her with sheer amusement looking through her lie and smirked, "You know what I mean darling, so..." Burying his face deep into her neck he said," Don’t play dumb and just admit it" his muffled breath brushed her making her shut her eyes at the sensation.

Alice had no room to escape after getting caught. It would be foolish of hers if she still tried to play dumb because she knew, even her body couldn’t deny his sensual touch.

With his lips slowly brushing against her skin Alice lost her mind and she agreed to him eventually giving to his mute demand.

A breathless moan left her lips and she turned her neck around, giving him proper access to devour her.

It had been days since they last did it. After her doctor restricted them from going wild, Noah had been determined to hold himself back. He would neither show nor express his desire and would silently take a cold shower to tame his raging member.

Noah didn’t want to drain her knowing how much tired she already looked after her morning sickness. He didn’t want to force her into doing something he could handle himself.

But last night was unexpected because his wife was possessed with hunger of desire and to tame her needs all she wanted was him.

It was an indirect attempt to satisfy him after such a long break and not to deny, he felt amazed. But now it was his turn to make her happy.

Nibbling the skin on her neck leaving a red mark, Noah then kissed her up, reaching her lips and clasped them together until she moaned.

Alice felt like her mind had turned muddled because his kiss was making her lose all of her senses. The feeling of his lips on hers turned her greedy and even while kissing him she desired more.

With her hand automatically circling his nape, she pulled him further into her. Parting her lips she let him slide his tongue inside her mouth allowing herself to taste him as well.

Noah and Alice had just started to warm up when suddenly the lack of oxygen left Alice breathless and in a split second she felt the same disturbing sensation swirl into her stomach.

Snapping her eyes wide open she, pushed Noah away and climbed down the bed covering her face. Stumbling to her feet, Alice ran inside the bathroom leaving Noah abandoned on the bed.

Noah still trying to process what just happened flung his in the direction Alice rushed and soon realization hit his wits.

Flipping his body, Noah climbed down the bed and ran inside the bathroom where he saw Alice wiping off her face near the sink.

"Are you alright?" he asked worriedly.

Alice watched him rush to her side with his eyes anxiously looking at her pale face.

This morning sickness of hers was so bad that it drained all the blood from her face, making her look weak instantly. Even Noah couldn’t find a way to stop this torment Alice had to go through.

The doctor said it was natural and it would eventually go, but Noah couldn’t wind up his thoughts because every time she threw up, she looked worse than before.

Alice bobbed her head in assurance, but Noah couldn’t bring himself to be convinced.

"No!.. you don’t look good" he declined to believe her because her appearance was saying something else.

Alice was baffled by his response and watched him grab her wrist before they walked out of the bathroom.

"We are going to the hospital" he declared, leaving no room for Alice to refuse.

Noah didn’t waste a second and the couple drove to the hospital.

[Inside Doctor’s cabin]

"Everything is normal Mr. Wayne," the doctor said in assurance after going through a thorough check-up.

"See, that’s what I have been trying to say all this time" Alice added turning her head to her husband who still didn’t seem convinced.

Morning sickness was normal during pregnancy and since Alice was an exceptional case, her body was still trying to cope with the new development within herself.

Noah sat there with an unconventional look, raised his eyes to look at the doctor. "Then why was her face pale this time? She even looked like she was about to faint" he observed all the minute details on her face, every time she threw up.

"Her body is getting used to this development and it will take her some time to fully get used to it," the Doctor said, hoping this time she was clear enough to convince the man who kept pestering her every time something unusual happened to his wife.

She literally had to give him a few books about pregnancy just so he would read them and understand the phases a woman’s body goes through.

’But guess even that didn’t work’ she said in her mind staring at the man who remained silent as if he was still doubtful.

The doctor who was on the verge of crying silently pleaded Alice, motioning with her eyes to please convince her husband somehow.

Getting her silent plea, Alice then cleared her throat snapping the man out of his thoughts. Even with his eyes staring ahead, he seemed lost, and the reason why the doctor seemed so intimidated was his lack of response.

"We get it, doctor. Don’t we Noah" Faking a smile she tried to clear the unknown tension between them and watched Noah avert his attention at her.

"Huh! Ah.. yes," thought doubtful Noah still agreeing with Alice when he noticed the hidden meaning behind her fake smile.

After stepping out of the doctor’s cabin, the couple then walked through the corridor and stepped inside the elevator.

Since it was a private lift, the couple were alone.

"You know sometimes your silence does scare a few people around you" Alice began, making him look at her with surprise.

"Scare and that too my silence. Who gets scared in, silence" he asked.

"The people whom you silently intimidate, for example, the doctor. You literally made her cry with your silence"

"Huh?"
