"The result is positive. I am sorry for your loss" The doctor’s words struck like a bolt of lightning on Linda.

Like a corpse, she remained seated on the chair with her eyes blankly staring at the reports. Her fear finally turned into reality. She lost her child.

Reaching out her hand she picked up the reports and stared at those words with an empty gaze.

Instantly her palm balled into a tight fist crumbling those papers mercilessly as she slammed her hand on the table.

"This can’t be happening. I can’t lose my child..." she yelled scaring the female doctor with her sudden outburst.

Linda was having a panic attack. The dreams she had seen because of this child broke because of her carelessness. If she hadn’t given herself into Ryan’s lust, she wouldn’t have bled.

She knew he was rough and wild and instead of stopping him, she drown in the pool of pleasure only to suffer a great loss for her plans.

’What is supposed to do now? How is she going to get what she dreamt of?’ all those queries popped into her mind and she started throwing everything away.

The doctor shivered at her madness but couldn’t voice her fear knowing how ruthless Linda can turn if she went against her.

Standing in one corner, she watched her create the mess and vent her fury. She kept mumbling something to herself which made her look like a crazy woman who had lost control of her mind.

"No no no... I can’t let anyone find out about it. After coming so far I can’t lose everything" she mumbled under her breath as her eyes frantically looked around the room.

"Ryan.... you bastard... this all happened because of you..." she yelled digging her nails into her palm.

Linda wasn’t going to let this piece of news reach out. She won’t let anything ruin her plan.

Composing her wrecking nerves, she then shot her bloodshot eyes toward the doctor and watched her flinch.

"If you want to leave this cabin alive, then do as I say" her deadpan voice made the doctor immediately bobbed her head in agreement.

After having lunch, both Gwen and Karl cuddled on the bed, naked. They just ended up making love and were busy warming themselves in each other’s embrace.

Tucking the piece of hair behind her ear, Karl asked," Did I overdo it?" his eyes roamed all over her face as he watched her smile.

"No, you didn’t. In fact, I enjoyed it. I like when you don’t hold back" Gwen answered wrapping her arms around his torso as she slowly snuggled into his chest.

Karl couldn’t help but smile at her bold remark. "So you like it when I don’t stop myself from pleasuring you," he asked and sensed her stiff.

Gwen fluttered her lashes, suddenly feeling hot. There was no way she wouldn’t like it. He made her feel thousand of emotions whenever they would make love.

But unlike every time, she stopped him from using any protection. She wanted to feel him bare, thrusting inside her. In that way, she could find herself complete.

Without answering him Gwen could hold hide her face inside his chest. "You are becoming shameless too," she said lightly slapping his torso.

Amused by her cute reaction Karl couldn’t stop smiling. He could assume the way she would be looking, all red like a tomato.

Gwen may be bold at times, but whenever she would shy on any of his remarks, it would make his heart flutter.

Staying like that for some time, Gwen started drawing invisible circles over his chest. "Ryan, he seems to be very possessive about Linda" Gwen suddenly started a conversation.

She recalled the time she heard Linda talk on the call with him. The way she kept stopping him from meeting her only concluded that he couldn’t stay from meeting her even for a day.

"Hmm... even I could sense that. I had seen him stalking me and Linda that day. If I am not wrong, he doesn’t trust her either" Karl pointed.

Ryan thought hiding behind the tree would stop him from getting caught by his gawk-like eyes, but he was wrong.

After getting into his car and driving out from the company’s gate, Karl stopped his car at a distance and saw Ryan rushing towards Linda forcefully dragging her to his car.

"Then how about we take advantage of his possessiveness" Gwen suddenly spoke and looked at Karl.

"How?" he asked with a deep frown.

Deep down he had a feeling the words she was going to speak ahead would piss him off, but still, he wanted to know what idea she had in her mind.

Gwen squinted her eyes as she could feel the threat brewing around Karl’s aura, but still, she mustered up the courage and spoke.

"I would befriend him and brainwash him against Linda. I know the man is so insecure about his relationship with her that it would take him time to explode"

Gwen’s eyes shined on her mind-blowing plane. But the man whom she was telling all this wasn’t happy at all.

"I object" Without wasting a second Karl declined her idea and watched her pout.

"I won’t let that man come near you," he said with a scowl.

Jealously started to kick in Karl’s heart. He wasn’t fine with any man getting close to his girl and knowing whom she was trying to befriend, there was no way he would agree with it.

"But we have no other way. We have to create misunderstandings between them if we want Ryan to expose Linda’s lies in front of her grandfather"

Gwen had this nagging feeling about why Linda’s grandfather wanted to meet Karl. He was surely going to ask him to take responsibility for her child by marrying them.

This was the only way where she could have Karl all by herself and the child inside her womb will also have his name attached to him.

Gwen wasn’t cruel against the unborn, but the way Linda was using it for her selfish reason made her stone-hearted. She wondered by such people are even blessed with kids when they don’t truly love them.
