The entire room was soon engulfed with silence. Tristan was left utterly speechless. The happiness her was felt a minute ago was long gone and now he hated seeing his perfectly captured pictures.

Shaking her head in disbelief, Ashley heaved out a sigh and took her cell phone back from Tristan’s hand. Her eyes looked into the screen carefully when something struck her and she snapped her head in Tristan’s direction.

"What?" Tristan asked in confusion as he watched her look at him like he had grown two horns on his head.

"I am not sure but.." bringing the phone in front of Tristan Ashley pointed to her and Gabriel’s picture.

"Don’t tell me you like this picture" Tristan said with a sullen face and watched her glare at him with her lips pursed tightly.

"Okay fine you don’t like this picture" saying he looked at the screen.

Ashley heaved out a sigh before she started speaking," Do you see this picture, it was taken just a few hours ago before I agreed to Gabriel’s help"

Tristan carefully looked at the picture and it was then realized that the picture posted had a different background as if they were in the middle of the road with almost complete darkness with Ashley’s car standing next to them.

"You are right" Tristan instantly agreed.

"I have a doubt it’s all Gabriel’s doing. He said he is persistent in pursuing me" Ashley said bluntly forgetting the man next to her changed his entire aura emitting coldness like an iceberg.

"Persistent, huh" Tristan mumbled gritting his teeth in annoyance as he eyed Ashley with his deadpan gaze.

It was then she realized what she had muttered. Looking at Tristan she understood how badly she had screwed his mood.

Clearing her throat she straightened up and placed her phone back on the side table before she reached her hand and pulled the duvet over her. "I think we should sleep, just forget what I said"

Carefully lying on the bed, Ashley turned to the side with her back facing Tristan. It was better if she skip confronting Tristan realizing how badly she messed up with his mood.

She was about to turn off the lights when she felt Tristan sliding into the duvet and within a few seconds, his front was pressing against her back.

Ashley still at the sense of his cock rubbing her butt and slowly gulped. "Let me do it" she heard Tristan from behind as he stretched his arm toward the switch button purposely pressing his member into her back.

Turning off the light, Tristan laid back slowly sliding his arm around her waist while he buried his face into her nape. Ashley heard Tristan let out a chuckle and her body instantly relaxed. He didn’t have to tell her that because she already knew her heart belonged to him and no matter what Gabriel would do, it will never stop loving him.

Taking a deep breath, Ashley entirely relaxed in Tristan’s arm and slowly closed her eye. The next day was going to be quite hectic day knowing the mess someone had created on the internet to tarnish her image and it was time to confront that someone.

The next morning Ashley went for the shoot with Jack being extra cautious about the car he picked. He made sure to examine everything with a backup just in case they end up like the other night.

He didn’t want to repeat the same mistake knowing how his boss gave him a heart attack the other night, almost making him jump out of his bed.

Luckily Miley was there to calm him or else he would’ve fainted in the middle of their heated session.

Stopping the car on Half point street, Ashley stepped out of the car and walked towards her vanity van. Since it was an outdoor shoot, the scene only required Ashley and two supporting actors who were going to play Lisa’s parents.

Bernard was busy explaining to them about the scene where the family of three would be driving somewhere and will soon meet with an accident. It is that turning point in Lisa’s life when her path to revenge starts.

Knowing how Bernard preferred everything real, he asked the actor who was playing her father to drive the car for real, just so they would get enough close-up shots to capture their real emotion.

Everything had been taken care of regarding their safety, so Ashley didn’t find any harm to enact. Giving him a nod the trio settled into the car with the male and the lady actor taking the driver and passenger seat respectively, while Ashley sat in the back seat.

Taking the director’s seat, Bernard looked at the screen in front of him and yelled loud on the speaker, " Roll. Camera. and Action!..."

The male actor started the engine and release the brakes slowly before he accelerated the car and it drove to the maximum speed. Keeping his control over the steering wheel they kept performing their act and once they were done the Director yelled cut.

Returning back to their normal self the Male actor tried to put on the brakes but to his shock, the car didn’t stop.

"Fuck! What’s wrong with the brakes" he yelled and he kept pressing the brake but it didn’t seem to work.

The car kept driving ahead confusing everyone around. "Why isn’t he stopping the car?" Bernard muttered as sensed something strange.

Before he could seek help, they heard a loud bang, and the car got hit against a tree leaving everyone horrified by the view in front of them.

Tristan was busy attending the meeting when suddenly Karl received a call from Jack and his words froze his entire being.

"Is Ashley fine" Karl’s loud words caught Tristan’s attention and he immediately stopped speaking.

"What’s wrong," he asked as soon as Karl ended the call. The paleness on Karl’s face was scaring Tristan to death.

"Karl what happened to Ashley.." losing his cool, Tristan yelled taking everyone by surprise.

"B-boss, lady boss met with an accident on the set" Karl broke into a sweat the moment he saw the change in Tristan’s eyes, and before anyone could understand Tristan pushed away his chair aggressively and marched out of the room.

Inside the vanity van, Ashley sat on the couch with a lady doctor examining the cuts she received due to the hit.

"Do you feel any pain in your wrist Miss Brown?" the doctor asked as she carefully moved her wrist just to check its mobility.

"No, everything is fine..."

Thud!!!...

The door of the vanity van opened with a loud bang with Tristan dashing towards Ashley ignoring all the shocked eyes and engulfing her into a tight hug.

Motioning the doctor to leave, Miley then stepped out not before closing the door and giving the couple some private time.

Tristan was literally shivering as he kept hugging her. Ashley could tell he was scared to death or else he wouldn’t have looked so pale.

"Tell me you are fine, nothing happened to you" Tristan spoke after a long silence.

Caressing his back, Ashley tried to calm him as she answered," Nothing happened to us Tristan we both are doing fine... see" pushing him lightly she asked him to examine her by himself.
