Natalie panicked when she found that Alice survived the deadly accident and she immediately asked the man to leave the country as soon as possible.

"What should do now?" she stuttered pacing in her room.

Tristan’s men were trying to man behind the cause of the accident and she doubted that it won’t take them enough time to reach her. Now she understood why Avera kept her telling that she shouldn’t make any reckless moves.

Pulling out her cell phone, she immediately called Avera.

"Avera, please help me. I did a grave mistake" Avera was in the middle of some work and creased her brows when she heard Natalie’s petrified voice.

"What have you done now?" she asked with hesitation.

Natalie spilled everything she did to Alice and how now Tristan and his men were trying to find the culprit.

"You crazy woman. Do you understand what kind of trouble you’ve landed yourself into" Avera was extremely pissed with Natalie this time?

"I know... please help me. I promise I won’t do it again" Natalie broke into tears. Now that her brain was sane enough to think correctly she could see the consequences of her actions.

Placing her palm on her forehead Avera tried to calm herself. She had to do something before they find Natalie and she ends up spilling everything to them.

"Okay now don’t panic and listen to me carefully" Avera tried to soothe her and she did as told and heard her instructions carefully.

"Okay"

"Good, now do as I said and make sure no one watch’s you"

Hospital room

As soon as Alice woke up, the first thing Noah did was call the doctor. After examining Alice the doctor declared that her life was out of risk and she was doing good. The only thing he asked him to see was if she faces any concussions.

After the doctor left, soon everyone barged into the room to meet Alice.

"You scared us dear" Anna rushed to her bed and kissed her forehead lightly. The day Anna found out about Alice she accepted her as her daughter and she mean it when she said so. Finding her daughter in such a horrified state broke her heart but she was grateful that, she was safe.

"Thank god nothing happened to you" Ashley took a step ahead and observed her friend.

Passing her a faint smile Alice assured her that she was fine and that was enough for her to ease. Spending some time talking with her they soon left with only Noah staying behind.

Sitting back on the chair, Noah leaned forward with his elbow resting in her bed while his chin cup with his palm. His eyes adored her and the smile on his lips didn’t fade even for a second.

Just like her even he felt like he was blessed with a second life and he would cherish it with care.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" she asked suddenly feeling anxious.

Alice knew she wouldn’t be in a good appearance for him to admire her. The bandage on her head was the evidence. She could imagine looking different than she looked in the morning.

The moment that thought crossed her mind her face stiffened. They were going to get married but everything changed with her being here in the hospital lying motionless.

The thought itself bought tears to her eyes and a lone tear rolled down from the corner of her eyes.

Noah who senses the change in her expression quickly reached his hand and cupped her face.

"What’s wrong?" he asked and watched her look his way.

"O-our wedding. I ruined everything" Alice was cursing herself for being ignorant about her surroundings. If she had been attentive, she would’ve dodged the speeding car and her accident wouldn’t have taken place.

"Shh... You have done nothing. Please don’t blame yourself" Noah shook his head denying her accusation and wiped off the tears from her face.

"I can wait for that day to come but what would’ve happened to me if I had lost you? The thought itself is terrifying Alice" He looked at her with moistened eyes.

Noah still felt a chill run down his spine when the thought of her limb body he carried in his arm. Her pale face and colorless lips made him think about the worst and the blood she lost, it still scares him.

Alice pursed her lips stopping them from trembling. She could see the fear in Noah’s eyes and that made her think about how he must have handled himself.

Back then when he witnessed her panic attack, he had cried along with her feeling the pain she went through at that very moment. But the only difference was, she was there to calm him but today, it was different.

She could only imagine the pain and fear he must’ve gone through watching her lifeless body.

"I am sorry" she apologized.

"No, don’t say that" Noah tried stopping her. He knew she wasn’t the one at fault. It was someone’s ill motive behind the cause of the accident and he would soon find the person letting him go through the same pain Alice went through all this time.

After comforting her, Alice finally stopped crying. Her eyes never left his and the more she looked the more she adored him.

Laying still for some time, Alice then moved a little making some space on the big hospital bed, and slowly patted the spot next to her." Sleep with me" she said.

Alice needed his solace to fall asleep. She wanted to feel his warmth and in return wanted to console him. They both need each other to aid themselves from the terrifying situation they just escaped from and promise to be careful from hereon.

Noah fluttered his eyelashes in confusion and looked at the space where she patted and quickly shook his head in denial. "No, I can’t sleep there. You just had surgery and I don’t want to hurt you, so it’s better I sleep there" he said pointing at the couch.

Alice’s face dimmed at his rejection and she turned her head to the other side. She knew she was being over-sensitive without bothering about her surgery, but she couldn’t help. She wanted him close to her as the memories of her accident kept flashing in front of her eyes. She wanted to forget it but, she also couldn’t voice it loud thinking it might scare Noah.

"Okay," she said in a whisper and closed her eyes.

Noah felt bad for declining her request but he had no choice. He didn’t want to hurt her in his sleep knowing about his weird sleeping positions. Pursing his lips into a thin line, Noah kept holding her hand until he sensed her steady breathing and he assume that she had fallen asleep.

After meeting Alice and assuring her friend was out of danger, Ashley and Tristan returned home. Stepping into the bathroom Ashley was about to undress when suddenly a wave of nausea passed through her and she marched covering her mouth toward the sink.

Throwing up a few times Ashley straightened up and started feeling dizzy. She was about to lose her balance but fortunately, Tristan appeared at the right time and stopped her from falling.

"Ash" concern laced through his voice as he watched her shake her head a few times and blink her eyes simultaneously.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he helped her stand straight.

Composing herself Ashley looked into the mirror ahead and blow out a sigh before she let out an assuring smile.

"Indigestion I guess," she said looking at Tristan through the mirror and turning on the faucet before she washed her face.

Tristan saw the tiredness on her face. How can she not be, he thought, and without questioning anything further, they both took the shower together.

Hoping into the bed Tristan pulled Ashley into his embrace and kept caressing her back until she fell asleep.

Tristan was unable to sleep as his mind kept drifting back to the moment he saw Noah and Alice. If not for his quick reflex they would’ve thought it was just an accident.

’Who could be after Alice’s life’ he thought as his frown deepened when suddenly one particular person’s face came into his mind and his arms around Ashley tightened.

Reaching in arms towards the side table, Tristan called Sky.

"Yes boss"

"Sky I want you to keep an eye on Natalie Scott. I have a doubt the person behind Alice’s accident is non-other than her"

"Sure boss" he agreed and Tristan hung up the call.

If it wasn’t Dylan then the suspicious needle only points at the woman who recently started stalking Noah and she was nonother than Natalie.

Racking his brain for some time, he then came to think what if someone was helping her secretly? Noah too once mentioned it that day and now they have to find who is the person helping Natalie secretly.
