Bae Juhyun had sworn that she would wake up early to prepare fruit for Liu Xin’an so he could take it with him on his schedule.

But in practice, this task met a slight obstacle.

Looking at the woman sleeping sweetly beside him with her back to him, Liu Xin’an was silent for a long while, still hesitating about whether to wake her up or not.

According to what Juhyun had said the night before, she wanted him to wake her.

But if he really did so, she might complain.

His afternoon schedule involved a variety show recording he was looking forward to.

So, attending in person was a great opportunity.

This leisurely morning, Liu Xin’an stir-fried some leftover rice with soy sauce and heated some remaining stir-fried green peppers and meat, easily taking care of yesterday’s leftovers.

As for whether Juhyun would be hungry when she got up... there were still ingredients at home, he would just prepare something else.

Just before nine in the morning, the Miss Bae who had boasted about getting up early to prepare fruit for Liu Xin’an finally emerged from her lazy slumber, staring blankly at the familiar ceiling.

Then, she didn’t get out of bed but instead lazily reached for her phone.

Soon, the bedroom door opened, and there stood Liu Xin’an in a tight shirt, his forehead sweaty.

The sight of him all sweaty made Juhyun feel the room heat up too.

"Are you working out?"

She had initially planned to have Liu Xin’an carry her to the bathroom to wash up, but seeing him all sweaty...

Juhyun knew how strong his muscles were; being with a man who worked out regularly had its perks during intimate moments.

"Go on, I’m getting up now."

Juhyun tightened her blanket as if shooing away a small animal and waved her hand slightly.

Liu Xin’an pouted but said nothing more.

He didn’t want to contact Juhyun with a sweaty body anyway.

Women take time to get ready.

Just after ten, Bae Juhyun was back to her fresh and bright self.

Her black hair tied up, she rolled up the sleeves of her hoodie, showing a bit of her fair arms.

She had said she would prepare fruit for Liu Xin’an, and she was determined to do so.

Cutting fruit and peeling a grapefruit wasn’t a difficult task, and soon enough, two containers filled with apples, oranges, and grapefruit were ready, thanks to Juhyun’s meticulous preparation.

Just in time, Liu Xin’an finished his workout. After a quick shower to rinse off the sweat, he walked into the kitchen wearing a loose T-shirt.

"Aren’t you hungry?"

Preparing fruit right after washing up... he was moved, but more so, he was concerned about whether she was hungry.

He was leaving soon.

"I’ll just make a pack of instant noodles later, don’t worry about me, focus on your stuff,"
