Chapter 1349 - Chapter 1349 Chapter 413 Some Daily Cultivation Routines_3
Chapter 1349: Chapter 413 Some Daily Cultivation Routines_3 Chapter 1349: Chapter 413 Some Daily Cultivation Routines_3 Leonard Churchill also showed a hint of surprise.
He watched as Tracy Garcia muttered a few incantations from the scroll of the Spirit Communicator’s lineage, and in the blink of an eye, she exclaimed with joy, “The Angel Lord has agreed!”
Leonard Churchill’s brows relaxed as he listened, and he wasn’t surprised that Miss Bun-Haired could communicate with an angel that had already died.
Spirit Communicators inherently possess some ability to communicate with the Undead Spirit.
As she spoke, Tracy Garcia pressed her hand on the scroll, and a flash of spiritual light appeared, revealing a tall corpse wrapped in bandages floating in mid-air.
As a portion of the bandages was slightly undone, a halo of black and white light overflowed.
Perhaps recognizing Leonard Churchill, the one who had once helped collect its remnants, the contamination leaking from the angel’s body became much gentler.
Even though it was a corpse, Leonard Churchill politely said, “Thank you for the trouble, Angel Senior.”
It seemed as though the angel responded, with a faint black light swirling around.
Leonard Churchill felt as if he was immersed in water, instantly sensing the strong yet non-threatening erosion of the High-level Laws.
He had not learned the “Day Without Light” before, so he couldn’t grasp the Extraordinary Power contained within the black and white flow of light.
Now, upon experiencing it firsthand, he immediately felt a sense of familiarity mixed with awe.
The sensation was like that of a burning match coming into a world of lava; though both were flames, there was an uncontrollable sense of shock.
The Clown Illusion appeared behind him, and Leonard Churchill, gathering his spirit, quickly started practicing the Secret Skill, attempting to…
“Feel the ‘Power of the Angel,’ Day Without Light proficiency +32”
“Contacted ‘Unknown Dark Energy,’ Repulsive Force proficiency +11”
“…”
The feeling was very peculiar.
Just as when Leonard Churchill had used the Power Stone Golden Sphere to practice gravitational force before, proficiency that would normally increase by only one point after a day’s hard practice was now shooting up rapidly.
Touching the powerhouse within the corpse that could destroy heaven and earth, Leonard Churchill felt even more familiar with it.
He also had a persistent feeling that the Mechanical Angels he had seen before were created in the likeness of the Weeping Angel.
…
In this manner, with the help of the angel’s corpse for his cultivation, Leonard Churchill’s days became even more fulfilling.
Another two days passed, and his injuries had fully healed.
Thinking that those from the Southern Continent had not been able to find him for several days, he assumed they had probably given up by now.
The enemies might have given up, but Leonard Churchill had no intention of stopping there.
Since he had guessed that the people from the Southern Continent might have discovered something important in the relics, he naturally wanted to check it out as well.
After discussing with Tracy Garcia, the two of them immediately took action.
The High Priest Miss was very interested in the ruins of the Imperial Capital, and of course, she looked forward to adventuring with Leonard Churchill.
The two then left the shattered garden where they had hidden for a few days, sneaking towards the depths of the relics.
With Tracy Garcia’s methods, they smoothly followed the trail left by the adventure group from the Southern Continent, advancing deeper into the relics.
This afternoon.
Leonard Churchill and Tracy Garcia quietly arrived at a part of the relics that looked like a stony beach littered with dense fragments of various planes.
It appeared to be pieces of what was once a splendid and magnificent palace.
Leonard Churchill and his companion stopped, for in the void around the area were docked more than a dozen Void Dragon Ships of various sizes.
Although they were not as large as the two ships used to transport soldiers from the Abyssal Rift of the East Wilderness, the number of vessels was enough to carry tens of thousands of people.
Neither of them dared to act rashly and instead found a hidden spot to observe.
The people from the Southern Continent were on high alert, effectively sealing off a large area nearby.
In a corner, two figures crouched there.
Tracy Garcia observed through binoculars for a long while but found no opportunity, murmuring, “Mr. Leonard Churchill, it seems like they are on guard as if they expect us to come…”
Leonard Churchill smiled, shaking his head, “They’re not guarding against us.”
Tracy Garcia cast a puzzled look, “Huh?”
Leonard Churchill’s eyes held a profound depth as he said, “They’re likely guarding against the Rebel Dragon Army.”
The flags of the three major royal families of the Southern Continent were all present on those dragon ships, along with those of the Holy Church. Such a big show of force would seem quite excessive to guard against a single Seventh Rank.
And Leonard Churchill knew that the Rebel Dragon Army’s leaders had discovered the Lost Imperial City Behemoth a month in advance, and they should be somewhere deep in these relics by now.
It seemed that the people from the Southern Continent had likely found out as well.
Since there wasn’t an opportunity, Leonard Churchill and his companion were not in a hurry. They continued to wait there.
The exploration of the relics still needed to be carried out, and waiting outside to intercept would lead to the same result.
Leonard Churchill didn’t think the people from the Southern Continent would stay clustered and defensive like this forever.
And so, they waited another two days, and sure enough, the unexpected happened.
That noon.
Upon a fragment of the relics, Leonard Churchill and Tracy Garcia were taking turns observing the movements of the people from the Southern Continent from afar.
Suddenly, violent shockwaves of battle erupted deep within the relics.
Before long, they watched a group of people breaking through the encirclement of the Southern Continent’s army aboard various Void Speedboats that looked as if they were painted with bright colors, then they rushed out.
Upon seeing those impressionistic boats, Leonard Churchill immediately thought of the methods used by the Rebel Dragon Army Leader Griffith.
And looking at those who were being chased and fleeing, Leonard Churchill recognized almost all of them.
Weren’t they some of the Rebel Dragon Army officers under Aragon?
Too much interference in this Space Rift made communicators unreliable.
Now that the distance had closed, Leonard Churchill tried to connect with Aragon’s communicator.
As soon as the connection was made and his identity revealed, an urgent voice came from the communicator, “Brother Leonard, run! The Worm Mother has resurrected!”
