Chapter 205: -Chapter 205-
Lake couldn’t lay where he did for much longer, as soon as he could, he tried to break free.
It was a bit awkward and when the Master’s dick slipped out of him, he bit his bottom lip to keep his sounds in.
When he was free of the Mafia King, he tried to get off the bed, only to be stopped by the Alpha holding onto his shirt.
The white shirt he had on had lost so many buttons, it was barely hanging off his slender frame.
He froze for a second, terrified that the Alpha had woken up and caught him before he could escape.
A hesitant look over his shoulder showed that Master Davian was still out of it, his hold going slack.
It was easy to pry his shirt out of the Alpha’s big hand then, Lake making a face when the Alpha’s cum kept spilling out of him.
Just how much had the Mafia King filled him with?
Now that he was free of Master Davian and the Alpha was still out cold, there was only one thing to do.
Run.
He didn’t want to hang around to see what the verdict would be. Master Davian was uninterested in love or a mate, so he wasn’t anything special to him.
Lake hesitated as he was about to get off the bed, feeling bad about leaving the Alpha laying in a puddle of their cum on the bed.
Rolling him over was more trouble than he bargained for, and there was also the risk of the Alpha rousing.
But Master Davian was kind enough to let him keep working here, despite the father he had. So, he could at least do this for him.
The Master stayed dead asleep, and Lake even got to cover him up and tried to clean up the cum as best as he could.
It was a risky move to take, but he was hoping that the Alpha would be too out of it to even remember him.
And as long as Davian didn’t ask about him, they could just pretend like all of this never happened.
Lake made a face as he scavenged for his pants and put them on, there was no time to clean up the Master’s cum.
He just wanted to be out of there, and fly under the radar until all this passed.
And if it didn’t, then he would have no other choice than to disappear.
How ironic that the reason he would do that wouldn’t be to escape the debt his father left behind, but something for so stupid that could have been completely avoided.
He had more or less paid off most of the debt, so they could at least pardon him for what little was left.
After dressing up, Lake lingered behind in the Master’s room for a bit, not because of any sentiment, but because of how much easy to lift valuables were just in plain sight.
Was this what people who didn’t have to worry about money did?
Because there were little gold statues in cupboards, expensive watches tossed on bedside drawers....
Master Davian might as well put a fat stack of money in plain view-
Lake cut himself off there, because the Master did leave stacks of cash, a couple of them as a matter of fact.
Stealing from the Master was a thought that had never crossed his mind before, but if he needed to disappear, he would have no funds to do so.
He had basically nothing to his name, despite working nonstop for almost a decade now.
So, before he silently slipped out the door while holding on his tattered uniform, he grabbed what he could.
A stack of cash that he hoped the Master wouldn’t miss from how haphazardly it was thrown around, a couple watches - he made sure to carry the least expensive ones.
And a little bit of greed he didn’t even know he had made him carry a solid gold statue.
Lake was spry as he hurried down the hallway, trying not to break into a run so that he didn’t attract attention.
As he took the turn, he found the still unconscious body of Arthur, and he didn’t hesitate to hop over it and continue on his way.
Hopefully the butler was still alive, but he wouldn’t keep his hopes up.
Arthur’s dislike of him was something he still didn’t know the reason off, and he was too busy to bother to find out why.
He always made sure to demand for extra pay whenever the butler made him work extra hours.
And although Arthur was always reluctant about it, he was obligated to pay him.
Lake hurried to the house staff lockers, taking out his bag to have a place to put his valuables, and to change into clothes that didn’t make him look like he was mauled by a bear.
He shivered whenever his clothes brushed against his mating mark, snatching up the bag when he was properly dressed and dashing for the front doors.
The guards at the gate already knew his face so they let him by easily, barely paying attention to him.
Which was a relief; because Lake was certain that Master Davian’s dark scent was literally branded on his skin for at least a couple of days.
He didn’t know how he got back to his apartment, slouching against the wall of the elevators that took him to his floor, his legs trembling.
The apartment complex was owned by Master Davian, and being an employee of his meant that he got a discount on his apartment.
He was relieved that his nosy neighbor was out, because the other Omega would definitely have questions if he came back drenched in an Alpha’s scent.
Lake slipped into the apartment and closed the door, immediately sliding down the door.
Being in his private space meant that he could no longer put on a brave front, trembling from head to toe.
He was so scared, he desperately wanted to believe that he would be fine because none of what had happened tonight was his fault...
But he knew better.
