Chapter 263: Chapter 263: Norovïth. (Part 4)
Khallyon’s thoughts are interrupted by the sound coming from a tunnel at the far end of the cavern’s right side.
Two more Creatures are approaching, distracting the focus of Que’Yïrha, as she could understand how developed is the physical prowess of the Pulvberion.
However, the Rogue Cadet sees the beasts in a different light, as he is not observing an incoming threat, if not two willing test dummies.
Aiming his right hand, Khallyon fires two of his favorite Ammunitions, the Tetrahedrons with thirteen Åyûrïc Nodes, giving to them a different Command "[Demolish], [Pierce]".
The first Tetrahedron become bluish, imitating the osmium shade, flying fast, but simultaneously slower than the usual speed the Ammunition possess.
A moment later, one of the two Pulvberion receives the hit, a fifth of its chest turns bluish and becomes dust, dying immediately.
The same occurs to the second Pulvberion, except the [Pierce] Command is so devastating that its entire body shatters, just like it would happen to a sandcastle that is being kicked.
"The Pulvberion are extremely weak against the [Pierce] Command, use it!".
Almost the whole crew is stupefied by the previous power display made by the Rogue Cadet; Yet, Yi’Onnaisse is the first to act according to her Enslaver’s order, casting a Cubic Standard Ammunition and adding to it the "[Pierce]" Command.
The Gorgeous Giantess target is the Pulvberion on the left side, shattering the beast with a single shot.
Yi’Onnaisse’s action reaffirms the veracity of the words spoken by Khallyon, making the next in line to execute a similar attack, the Ace of Combat of the Nephrons, Rwük’Nür, who destroys the Pulvberion that is in the middle.
Seeing a total of four enemies eliminated by the Contemporary Cadets, Try’Phiel does her part, wanting to even slightly the score board by employing the Command of [Pierce] with her [Needleer], creating a large hole in the Creature’s chest.
Such hole is even larger than the one seen in the Pulvberion that received the Command of [Demolish], demonstrating how feeble is the Pulvberion defense against the [Pierce] Command.
{Interesting, some Commands don’t alter the Åyûrïc Energy structure, nor consume the Nodes to achieve some result... , instead, theh simply enhance the base output...}
"Strike the Pulvberion again, your opponent is still alive Try’Phiel".
The orange skinned Young Lady takes the call out of Khallyon a bit too personal, yet, she grits her teeth and complies, usiy a new [Piercing Needleer] to hit the Pulvberion in the head, and seeing a grey graphite immaterial Shard flying towards her left hand.
Try’Phiel is totally stupefied, turning mechanically to observe Instructor Urrein, who has a raised eyebrow as she is as surprised as everyone that it is not a Contemporary Person.
Obviously, the Rogue Cadet can easily discern why the Old Ones are so shocked.
As the People from the past didn’t have access to their own Inventory, the Shards for eliminating Creatures would not appear, instead, Leathemnur would reclaim them, which is the usual occurrence when someone has not received the Gifts from The Imperishable Entities that otorgue to them their Blessings.
"Excellent, This is a good lesson for everyone to have present in a combat, if the Shards have not appeared, it means that your opponents are still alive, that way, you can finish them off with the coup de grace, and without having the need to spend Åyûrïc Nodes on using the Scanners, as abilities have different periods of functionality, depending greatly with Compatibility, IGNUS, Blessings and WORK".
The two Exploration Groups resume with their journey, having an almost uneventful trip, as other Pulvberion were eliminated with ease along the way.
After another fifty minutes of travel, the Rogue Cadet and the rest of the crew, finally reach the location Khallyon wanted, an Invasive Territory, and strangely, there are no Pulvberion, almost like if they feared whatever lies at the other side.
Entering in the Invasive Territory, the most obvious thing is not that the Exploration Groups suddenly are out of the underground, as the new environment has a beautiful pastel pinkish sky, no sun, but there is enough light to observe everything in the inmediations.
"I think I am delirious..." Neillburn says, rubbing his eyes with one hand while pointing with the other to a grass area that it is not too far away from them "I am seeing crops of Fried Fries that are ticker than my fist".
"Really?!, That is reassuring Burn-Burn, I thought the hills in the west looked like giant hamburger buns, and it is a good thing they don’t have sesame seeds, because I don’t like them"; Phöwller needs a few seconds to process the absurdity he just said, which is not different than everyone else reaction.
"What is this place, Cadet COCK-69?"; Asks Instructor Londra as she observes in the pinkish sky a few dozens of maple clouds that are made of cotton candy.
"Instructor Londra, We are in a Permanent Invasive Territory, the reason is simple, we need a stable source of food supplies, a way to deal with Norovïth weather, and this place should have a few Wild Monoliths and even an Imperishable Monolith".
Urrein Rwöllmör looks back at Khallyon, having a slight doubt "Cadet COCK-69, Is everything here edible?".
"Yes and No, Instructor Urrein, some of this, Ingredients, shouldn’t be ingested in large quantities, like the puddle over there, It is a plum custard, so diarrhea is certain if you eat more than 100 milliliters".
"Understandable, Cadet COCK-69, But I was referring to their viability, for consumption".
"Oh!, I see what you were talking about, and No, there is no expiration date or rotting in this Invasive Territory, but once something from this Invasive Territory leaves, it loses this ability".
The Exploration Group admires the landscape for a few seconds, as Khallyon gives the order to advance "We have to move, it is not safe to be over coffee, chocolate powder or sugar, especially if rain clouds come in our direction and throw at us maple syrup, so is primordial that we encounter or create a shelter as soon as we can, getting trapped and suffocated in caramel, doesn’t sound bad, but it is something that not many would want to experience"...
