Bound to the Triplet Alphas
Chapter 92 - 90: The Moon’s Gift

Chapter 92: Chapter 90: The Moon’s Gift

ARIA POV

I woke up yelling, blood soaking the sheets beneath me. The pain in my belly was worse than anything I’d ever felt.

"Hold her down!" someone yelled. Through blurry eyes, I saw Lucien’s worried face hovering over me.

"The babies," I gasped, clutching my stomach. "Something’s wrong with our babies!"

Kael burst through the door, his face pale with fear. "What’s happening?"

"The First Enemy," I managed to say between waves of pain. "It’s trying to take our babies."

Jaxon lay unconscious in the bed next to mine, his body twitching fiercely. Black lines spread across his skin like spider webs. The fight I’d left in his dreams was continuing in the real world.

"We need to finish what we started," I said, trying to sit up despite the pain. "I need to purify the wolf spirit completely."

"You can’t," Lucien objected, pushing me back down. "Look at you! You’re bleeding. The babies—"

"Will die if we don’t stop this now," I cut him off. "All of us will."

The door flew open again. Mira rushed in, bringing a bowl of steaming liquid that smelled like herbs and moonflower.

"The Elder sent this," she said quickly. "It will help with the pain and stop the bleeding."

I drank it quickly, the bitter taste making me gag. But almost instantly, the pain dulled and the bleeding slowed.

"We don’t have much time," I said, taking Kael’s hand. "I need all three of you to help me finish the purification."

"How?" Kael asked, his normal cold demeanor replaced with genuine concern.

"The mate bond," I stated. "It links all four of us now. If we use it together, we can force the First Enemy out for good."

Lucien looked uncertain. "It’s too dangerous for you and the babies."

"It’s more dangerous not to try," I urged. "I saw what the Shadow Division is planning. An army of these monsters, ready to replace every Alpha. If we don’t stop it now, there won’t be a future for our babies anyway."

The triplets traded looks. They had never fully understood the link that connected us—how I could be mated to Lucien but still bound to all three of them. It wasn’t meant to be possible. But here we were.

"Tell us what to do," Kael finally said.

I took a deep breath. "Form a circle around Jaxon. Hold hands."

They did as I asked. Lucien to my right, Kael to my left, their free hands touching across Jaxon’s body, completing the circle.

"Now focus on the bond," I directed. "Feel it joining us. All four of us."

I closed my eyes, reaching for that silver thread I’d felt in the dreamscape. It was still there, but fainter now, stretched thin by the First Enemy’s attack.

"I can feel it," Lucien whispered in awe.

"Me too," Kael added, sounding shocked.

The room started to glow with silver light—just like in my dream. It flowed from my hands first, then spread to Lucien, then Kael, and finally arched toward Jaxon.

But when it touched him, he screamed. His back arched off the bed, his eyes flying open—completely black, no white showing at all.

"It’s fighting back," I gasped.

"Keep going," Kael encouraged. "We’re with you, Aria."

I pushed harder, focused on the corrupted wolf spirit inside Jaxon. I could see it now, clear as day—a beautiful silver wolf, wrapped in layers of darkness. It was suffering, trapped by the First Enemy’s rot.

"Help me free it," I begged with the triplets.

Lucien squeezed my hand tighter. "We’re here. Use our strength."

I felt their energy flowing into me—Lucien’s healing power, Kael’s determination, and deep down, somewhere underneath the rot, Jaxon’s wild spirit. The silver light grew brighter, filling the room totally.

The babies kicked inside me, stronger than before. But this time it didn’t bring pain—it brought power. They were helping too, sending the Moon Goddess’s blessing through me.

"I can see it," Kael said suddenly. "The wolf spirit."

"Me too," Lucien repeated. "It’s... beautiful."

The light focused on Jaxon’s chest, burning away the darkness surrounding the trapped spirit. The black veins on his skin began to fade.

But just as we were making progress, something fought back. A wave of darkness pushed against our light, making Jaxon convulse fiercely.

"It’s too strong," I cried, feeling my power fading.

"No," Kael growled. "We are stronger together."

He squeezed my hand harder, his Alpha power surging through our link. On my other side, Lucien did the same, his healing energy mixing with Kael’s strength.

The babies kicked again, and suddenly I knew what needed to happen.

"The Moon Goddess blessed us with this bond for a reason," I said. "Not just to save Jaxon, but to make us stronger than any pack has ever been."

I guided the light to form a shape around us—a perfect circle, connecting all four of us through the bond. Inside me, the triplets seemed to respond, their energy pulsing in time with the light.

"Now!" I ordered, pushing everything I had into breaking the First Enemy’s hold.

The room burst with blinding silver light. Jaxon’s body rose one final time, and a terrible scream tore from his throat—but it wasn’t his voice. It was the creature’s.

A cloud of black smoke poured from his mouth, trying to escape. But our circle of light trapped it, crushing it smaller and smaller until it disappeared with a sound like thunder.

The wolf spirit floated above Jaxon’s chest for a moment—pure and beautiful. It looked at each of us in turn, then sank back into Jaxon’s body. This time, though, it went willingly, reconnecting with its proper host.

The light faded. Jaxon’s eyes fluttered open—normal eyes, his eyes.

"Aria?" he whispered. "Did it work?"

I smiled through my tears. "Yes. You’re free."

But as the words left my mouth, something strange happened. The silver light, instead of disappearing totally, seemed to sink into all four of us. I felt warmth spreading through my blood, a new kind of power I’d never felt before.

By the looks on their faces, the triplets felt it too.

"What’s happening?" Kael asked, looking at his hands. They were glowing slightly silver, just like mine.

"The Moon Goddess has blessed us," Lucien realized. "All of us."

Jaxon sat up slowly, looking stronger than he had in days. "I feel... different. Powerful."

"The bond," I stated. "It’s changed. It’s linking all four of us now, making us stronger together."

As if to illustrate, the babies kicked again, and all three triplets gasped at the same time.

"I felt them," Kael said in wonder. "As if they were my own."

"Me too," Jaxon added.

Lucien put his hand on my belly. "The link has made us truly one pack. One family."

For a moment, everything seemed great. We had beaten the First Enemy. Jaxon was saved. Our link was stronger than ever.

Then the door burst open. Mira stood there, her face white with fear.

"The lab," she gasped. "The Shadow Division’s lab. It’s been enabled."

"What do you mean?" I asked, fear squeezing my heart.

"The other creatures," she said. "The ones you saw in your vision. They’re awake. All of them."

Jaxon’s face hardened. "How many?"

Mira swallowed hard. "Hundreds. And they’re coming here first."

The four of us looked at each other, our new link humming with power between us. We had just escaped one battle, but a war was coming.

And the animals weren’t just after Jaxon anymore.

They were after our kids.
