Oliver put that thought to rest and quickly opened the web browser.

Today, he had to find some information that would be useful in the future.

He quickly typed in the search term.

"S.K Research."

The first link that appeared was the one he was searching for.

He immediately dragged his mouse onto it and clicked.

"S.K. Research, redefining communication." Oliver read the front page with a smile. But soon, the smile disappeared when he saw the photo of one of the people listed just below it.

The first one S Sathyamurthi, a phd scientist specialising in ’preservation of signal integrity in a mana-rich environment’. The other was N Siddhartha, the CEO of the company. Both of them were listed as leaders of the company. The one he was concerned about was Sathyamurthi, and the reason for the concern was the photo right next to it, the CEO Siddhartha.

"Sathyamurthi is still working for the company," Oliver muttered.

Oliver searched about the company because of two things: the technology they’d introduce later and a guy named Sathyamurthi.

Sathyamurthi was his friend, Root’s father. He was the person who invented a technology to resynchronise quantum-synched metals(QCM).

QCMs were special metals found in ancient ruins of the second earth. They come in pairs, and their primary property was that a signal sent into one piece of metal would appear in the paired metal regardless of the distance between them. So it was the primary method of communications to second earth.

However, there was one problem with using this technology.

After a while of use, the metal would uncouple from the synchronised state and begin to transmit errors.

’Currently, there is no known method to synchronize the metal pairs. However, that will change in the future due to the person called Sathyamurthi. He would devise a complicated but effective method to synchronise the metal pairs, even their fragments. And that would cause a revolution in the communications industry. Imagine a phone that you can use to call home from anywhere on the planet without signal hopping. It would become the most secure and effective way of communication.’

However, this innovative technology would also become the reason for his death. It would also create the villain called Root.

’Currently, Sathyamurthi is still working for the company. Soon, he would leave the company due to ’a difference of opinion’.

Difference in opinion is a code name for being kicked out.

The reason Oliver squinted at the picture listed on the website was because of the CEO. The crazy guy, after stealing the technology, would use it to become rich and later sell the company to Trinity Tech and demons working in it.

’One of the possible reasons for the downfall of humanity might have been that guy,’ Oliver thought.

’However, I have some time to fix that. Sathyamurthi is still working for the company, and Root is most likely safe. I should be concerned when he leaves it.’

Oliver soon created a new tab and began to search for information about his friends.

Kai was the one who suffered misfortune first. And he would already be caught by the demons and would be going through his training to be an assassin. There was no way to help him currently.

Finally, he searched for the information related to M-fresh and his enemies. Fortunately, what he wanted was clearly on display.

With his current strength, taking down M-fresh, a medium-level company, would be difficult.

"Yes."

"Okay." He agreed without batting an eyelid.

Like that, Oliver spent the next few hours scouting the area. Now, he knew exactly where the headquarters of M-fresh was and where their outlets were. He also figured out the buildings the gangs were using.
