"Lotti, I need an explanation."

After a brief pause, she retracted her gaze, hesitated, and left the dungeon.

"Lotti!"

The girl called out once more, trying to catch up.

However, a hoarse voice rose behind her:

Hearing this voice, the girl shivered slightly, like a frightened little animal leaping aside.

She turned her head to look at the hunched figure that had appeared behind her; a flash of revulsion crossed her big glittering eyes:

The hunched figure laughed.

As he spoke, he sized up the girl, narrowing his eyes:

Leaving the secret room, Lotti returned to the surface.
