’LIAM LOOK OUT!’ Ghost shouts in Liam’s head as in a flash the Beast was behind Liam, the claws fused with gold substance slits Liam’s back, he roared in pain but that didn’t stop Liam as with one kick the Beast was sent flying across the wall, breaking them instantly, waving backward as the sound kept fading from the constant crashes it had to endure.

Liam went on one knee, the pain in his back was excruciating.

’The substance is the same as the bullet that hurt Silver and Riley’ Ghost snarled, probably pissed.

He heard tongue ticks... it was coming from Seth.

"Pity," Seth said tilting his head to the side. "I wager the Beast’s claw wouldn’t pierce you... too bad" he mocked.

Liam growled pissed, rising to his feet.

"WELL, I’M JUST GETTING STARTED" Liam roared coming at Seth who didn’t flinch at the plague coming at him. Liam was hellbent on clawing his head off but the Beast once again acted as a nuisance and thorn at his side, it was fast, unpredictable, and wild just as he was, marching up to his strength a number of times.

In a zap of speed, the Beast pushed Liam before he got to Seth, Liam stumbled against the floor, breaking the tiles and crashing into the wall, the Beast was hot on his tails once again. They both engaged in an animalistic battle as they both clawed at each other while roaring, and causing biting on their bodies, it was like watching a fight between lions when it came to clawing and the loud slamming sound seemed like gorillas going head to head, and clashing like elephants marching against the earth and their ferocious roar was hardly marched to any animals.

The Beast’s several claws found Liam’s body, marking, clawing and none healed due to that strange substance, but Liam didn’t back down, he put up much of a fight than they expected, he was definite and refusing to stay put and let them have their ways, he was daring, raging and furious like a storm and his blood lust soared deeper than any water, filling the entire area like a mist.

Liam grabs the Beast by the neck slamming him to the ground continuously like he was hammering against a nail, eager to weaken the Beast that had stamina like that of a dragon. Seeing that it wasn’t cutting it, he resorted to using his fist, punching... Each punch sent the Beast’s head deep into the ground crater, he kept punching and punching as hard and fast as he could to overpower this thing but the Beast was stubborn and aggressive just as he was.

The Beast roared loudly and then like a hurricane of furry it then bit down on Liam’s shoulder, making him roar in pain, more of that fucking substance getting to his skin, he was weakened and his body was trying to fight through it as well as Ghost. His cells within his body were screaming from intense pain that shook his very bones, the aftereffect of the constant biting and clawing from the Beast was finally getting to him, the entire pain jammed him like a hurricane.

But he hasn’t had enough, he was still driven to fight, still driven by rage, and still driven to taste for blood. Liam growled, digging his claws in the beast’s chest, earning a roar from it. He growled, going deeper, reaching for the heart in hopes of ripping it off but surprisingly enough he went further... and... nothing? He froze.

"No heart?!" Liam said in a shaky breath... How was this possible? A ghoul’s heart was the weakness of every ghoul, without a heart how can he defeat this thing?!

Now caught off guard, and seeing this as a chance to finally get the Black Ghoul, Seth’s bones came for Liam at a fast speed without him realizing it.

Outside

"Take everyone out... clear the building," Riley said, Linda, nodding as she walked out.

Riley turns to Iris inside the SUV with Sean’s head lying on her lab.

"Take him back to the Hometown," she said.

"What about you?" Iris asked worriedly. Her eyes were bloodshot from all the crying she had endured.

"Liam is still in there," Riley said sternly, that was enough explanation, she need not say anymore. Without any more words, she closed the car door. It drove off.

She watches the car making sure it was out in a distance and then she turns to the building and walked in, hurrying inside as fast as she could, losing her heels, the damn thing was slowing her down and she didn’t care if she was barefoot, her main focus was getting to Liam in time, she only left when he asked her to because of Iris, but now she was definitely fighting alongside him, that was what they promised.

As she rushed through the halls, bodies piled on the ground, blood trails everywhere, the lights flicking. Riley looks around on high alert, she then hears crashing sounds from the next entrance.

"Liam!" Riley panics, rushing towards there, desperate and hoping to get him as fast as possible and aid him. But instantly tentacles slammed her against the wall, causing a crack against it.

Riley growled, turning to meet with Jade, a smirk plastered on her lips. Riley sighs seeing the troublesome girl once more.

"I’m sorry ’Jade’... but I don’t have time to play," Riley said as her body erupts in the white aura, her eyes changing to her ghoul ones, the right four-leaf clover mark tattoo on her right eye.

"But I wanna play..." she pouts but Riley knew her twisted amusement didn’t reach her heart. "You are a worthy opponent" she states in a more firm tone as 10 green tentacles came out of her back swaying behind her dangerously.

"Tell me dearie... have you seen me in my true form," Jade said smirking as in the question, she transformed.

Riley watches with unreadable eyes as the girl transforms to her claw form, extended arms, and leg, tall in height, in feminine structure, with green bandages wrapped around her skin from head to toe. Her tentacles were covered in green bandages also.

Riley was unfazed by the girl’s appearance for this wasn’t the first monster she has seen.

"Do I look like a more worthy opponent now ?!" She said in a deep double voice, her ghoul green eyes beaming dangerously.

"Far from it," Riley said sternly, as her orbs gleamed dangerously.

Blood trailed on the floor, leading all the way to where Liam was against the wall, still in his Claw form, he gave growling breaths, his head bent down, his body had several claw marks that bled all over, the substances were within his body, he took so more of it and it was making his wounds not to heal, he was losing so much blood as well.

"You may be a god Liam..." The haunting voice of Seth Judson spoke in an amused manner, "...Or the reincarnation of a being as the ghouls say" Seth said sternly, the Beast beside him, growling and matching the same steps with him, as they sauntered to where Liam was.

"But you will always fall to your enemies’ feet"

Liam growled deeply at his words, the rage boiling within him once again, but his body still felt too weak to move or even lift a finger.

"Just like your mother did" Seth began taking a step closer making Liam’s body tense at his words, flashes of his mom’s face filled his head. "Your sister Jenna..." he mused and then his smirk broadened "And oh yes... your traitorous father" he chuckled.

"And of course the failed experiment... Your son..." he shrugged and then made a face like he almost forgot something and his eyes glittered in more amusement. "And then soon enough the only family you have left" he states smirking. "Riley O’Brien"

Liam snapped and roared at them in a loud deadly sound that shocked the earth, all memories of their deaths played over and over again in his head... as well as a mirage of Riley’s death.

The rage sinking deep within me, into his bones and flesh as well as his mind, next was a blur.

Liam’s consciousness

In a dark endless void, the ground like glass water, in space, an ash big tree lies there, containing four-leaf clovers, some witters dropping to the ground in ash and as it did, another grew in replacement, emerging out of the branch.

Ghost was present as his body tensed, by the ominous and yet so familiar trigger he felt.

"This feeling," he said as his body shook more, his heart slamming loudly in his chest. His smirk always present on his lips fades, his fist clenched in a tight hold as he turns to the illuminating dark figure behind him, this presence, this familiar feeling, one he hadn’t felt in centuries not until he met Liam, the very first human to call upon him.

"Omari!"
