BLACK GHOUL -
Chapter 185: Black Party
Chapter 185: Black Party
From the outside, a piece of classical music could be heard playing, and the building looked like a modern Greece building. The entrance was packed with several cars, and the view of more fancy dressed people or couples walking into the luxurious lighted building, sparkling light within. It looked more like a party held by the president.
A black limo stops in front of the wide entrance, the chauffeur opens the door as Liam steps out, he is dressed in a black expensive suit, well tailored and fitting his large frame.
He buttoned the jacket properly before adjusting the black mask he wore, which covered just half of his face. He then turned pulling his hand out, Riley grabs it stepping out, she wore a slender white silk gown that fit her body perfectly, all her enticing curves to display. She adjusts the white designed mask properly, her long red hair was let down all the way to her waist, straight.
Her eyes studied the big building with dazzling lights on display, trusting Linda Sanford to always host such expensive parties.
She was distracted when Liam grabbed her by the waist pulling her body close to his, she moaned slowly at the contact, even clothes couldn’t stop them from feeling those electrifying feelings.
"You look gorgeous," he said huskily, close to her ear, his breath washing upon her.
Riley giggled at his words. "That’s the 5th time you’re saying this... since the moment you laid eyes on me this evening," she said in amusement.
"That’s because I can’t get enough of your beauty," he confessed.
"Easy there tiger, we have a mission to complete" she states as a sweet smile found her lips, she could see it in his eyes, the lust whirling within them.
Liam simply just growled, making Riley giggle once more. His patience was at a slim here, but he knew he needed to focus, but how could he focus exactly when his wife was simply stunning and mouth-watering, he wasn’t so sure he could hold it in any longer, ah fuck!
Concentrate Liam! He mentally scolded himself.
"Kayla?" Liam said faintly.
"On it, boss, Sean, and Iris are already inside as planned" Kayla’s voice sounds from the small ear plug Liam wore.
"Perfect," Liam said, pulling his arm out for his wife.
"Let’s focus on what we came for... for now"
A smirk found Riley’s lips, he was slipping and she knew it.
"Shall we?" he said with a dashing smile.
"Most certainty," she said, winking , placing her hand in his arm as they both walked into the wide building.
Inside was stunning and decorated majestically, the hall chatty with ladies and gentlemen all dressed fancy. Holding wines, all in masks, even the waiters that circled around were on masks.
The space was heavily outlined and set perfectly, it was like a royal ball, it smelt money from all angles. At the center of the turning hall, where hundreds of wine glasses are built in the form of a triangle, dazzling just beneath the chandelier.
"Linda Sanford does love holding fancy parties" Riley comments, taking in the luxurious view, it WAS no doubt. You could spoil a low-class person in this crowd because everyone was fitting.
"It’s like she got all the higher-up ghouls under her fingertips," Liam said looking around also, observing the elegance around. He knew perfectly well that everyone here was some sort of billionaire or something.
"A strong woman with deep connections are the ones you should fear most," Riley said.
"Riley," Liam said, making her turn in the direction he was staring at.
At the stairs Linda Sanford was ever so fancy, around her 60s, pale skin, her white hair matching the color of her skin, packed in a bun, she was in a slender red gown, a black mask against her face.
She engaged in conservation with another wine glass at hand.
"We have to meet up with her now," Riley said with haste.
"Everyone" Linda announced to the crowd, gaining the attention of everyone, the chatter died down as they all looked up, and the classical music came to a cease too.
"The show is about to start," she said, smirking.
"A show? There was a show?" Liam said, puzzled.
"Seems like this isn’t just a ball after all," Riley said.

An Hour Later
On the wide stage, an opera singer was present, her long enchanting voice graced the hall, in echoes and rhythm, and several prolonged flows of her voice graced the entire hall in its tempo.
She was dressed elegantly in a gold slender gown, her skin painted gold and her hair the same, her voice echoed and echoed, following the rhythm of the violin, the man who stood beside her in a tux, following every beat of her voice as she did too, they were in perfect sync.
"This is getting longer than expected," Riley said, getting bored. They were seated in the congregation, watching the performance.
"Sean?" Liam said.
"Yeah, we’re here keeping a low profile" his comm sounds.
"Linda Sanford is at the top," Sean said.
Their eyes drift there, she was at the edge of the curve pillar watching the performance.
"I could go to her," Riley suggested.
"No, we’re doing this together," Liam said, not liking the idea of her going out on her own.
Riley placed her hand on his, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Relax Liam, I got this... it will just be a friendly chat, woman to woman" she shrugged.
Liam frowned, she leaned forward, their faces inches apart, luckily the hall lights were darkened because of the performance.
"Trust me," she said softly.
Liam stared deep into her green eyes, he didn’t want her to go but he had no choice, he sighed in defeat.
"I got this" she assured. He just stroked a nod, with a slight frown.
Riley smirks at his approval before rising to her feet and walking out, Liam’s eyes on her the whole time. He watched as her hips swayed with every clicking sound of her heels.
The ghoul guys smirk while licking their lips staring at the beauty that passed them, mostly at her ass.
Liam growled deeply, they jumped slightly while turning to Liam in awe that such a sound came from him, it was like a wild animal was in the seats with them.
They didn’t dare to take their eyes off the stage again, no matter how alluring the lady was, scared that if they so much as turned their heads, it would be ripped off their shoulders.
Liam was counting on it, he didn’t care about the risk, he would rip their hearts off if they so much stared at his wife with lustrous stares again. He was COUNTING on it.

"And where do you think you’re going?! This place is for VIPs only" a man in a suit said, wearing a black mask.
"VIP, you say," Riley said, raising an eyebrow and placing one hand on her waist.
"Yes and if you would, please go back down now and enjoy the rest of the show"
"Riley O’Brien," she said abruptly.
He froze as his eyes widened.
"Tell Linda Sanford that Riley O’Brien wants to see her" she adds sternly.
The man gulps hard.
"The wife of the black ghoul" a voice came in from behind, it was Linda as she stepped forward with a smile on her lips.
"Aka, ghoul Queen" she adds bowing slightly.
Okay, Riley did not expect that.
"It’s an honor, if you told me you were coming surely you’re a VVIP" she states in amusement.
Riley gulps hard but then she composed herself.
"I believe a low profile is necessary," Riley said.
"Ah yes the hunt, we all heard," Linda said smirking.
"Come sit with me," she added.
"I apologize, ma’am," the masked man said bowing slightly, in atonement for his rudeness.
"It’s okay," Riley said faintly before walking past him to Linda.
Riley took a seat at the chair set facing the stage, Linda at the other end drinking her champagne.
"Champagne?" She asked.
"No, I’m good," Riley replied.
Linda just made a hmm sound. "Wonderful singer isn’t she" Linda states referring to the opera singer.
"Is there something you wanna say?" Riley began in a serious tone. Rather than play this as some talk she should better get straight to the point. "Say it"
Linda huffed, dropping her wine glass on the glass table.
"You came to my party and you asked such a question... I should be the one asking if you have something to say" she said in amusement.
"My husband killed your son," Riley said.
But she didn’t fuzz a bit, strange.
"Surely you must have something to say" she adds.
Her smirk broadens.
"Sweetheart... my son was a fool to even think he could kill Liam and claim the title, I should have taught him better".
"You seem displeased with him, rather than angry that Liam killed him," Riley said skeptically.
"Why should I?"
