Yi Luowa had no idea what was on Tong Yao’s mind. Yi Weiyang always said Yi Luowa was spoiled by him, so she just wanted to see how she would react if he decided to take her out without consulting her.

Yi Weiyang looked up at Yi Luowa. "Keep your aunt company for me."

"Sure!" Yi Luowa nodded with a smile. She could tell that Tong Airui’s mom meant a lot to her uncle. Besides, their whole family had been kind to her and her uncle, so inviting them to dinner was the least they could do.

Yi Luowa looked at Tong Yao and asked cheerfully, "Auntie, what do you like to eat? I’ll go with you."

"Why don’t I take you? You’ve only been back a few days, you can’t be as familiar with the capital as I am." Tong Yao was quite pleased with Yi Luowa’s behavior. The child was considerate, and she recalled her father’s vivid stories about playing chess with her. Tong Yao chuckled, her father was pretty good at judging people.

Before Tong Yao and Yi Luowa could leave the house, a few bodyguards came in carrying large bags.

"Madam, Young Master Seven said these supplements are good for Mr. Yi’s health."

Tong Yao laughed, "Just leave them here. Miss Yi and I are going out for a meal."

Yi Luowa looked at the room half-filled with supplements and said with some difficulty, "Auntie, you really went all out. My second uncle can’t eat that much. Why not give some to Big Mouth Uncle?"

"Your Big Mouth Uncle already has some, these are for your second uncle." Tong Yao laughed, taking her hand, and said to Yi Weiyang, "Can I borrow Luowa for half a day?"

Before Yi Luowa left the ward, Tong Yao’s phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID, smiled helplessly, and answered the call.

"I just called you after getting off the plane..."

"Honey, I miss you, what should I do?" Long Che’s plaintive voice came from the other end of the line.

"We’ve only been apart for a little over five hours." Tong Yao inadvertently glanced at Yi Luowa’s ward. If her future daughter-in-law heard this, wouldn’t they be laughed at!

"Can Big Mouth still breathe?" Long Che asked grumpily.

"He has better taste than me?" Long Che snorted discontentedly, "No need to take pictures, I’ve seen that girl on Shuoshuo’s Weibo, not as pretty as my wife! Hurry back!"

"You really know how to lie through your teeth! Hey! Hey... What a lousy phone, losing signal just like that." Tong Yao moved the phone away and murmured quietly before hanging up.

Long Che on the other end chuckled in exasperation and quickly typed a few words to send to Tong Yao.

Tong Yao had just reached the door of Big Mouth’s ward when her phone beeped with a text alert.

Tong Yao opened it to see: "Tong Yao, dare play no-signal with me, just wait! You won’t leave the bed for the next three days!"

Tong Yao smirked, put away her phone, and asked Big Mouth on the bed, "What do you want for lunch? I’ll have it sent over in a bit."

"Just those boxed meals Long Che used to order for us!" Big Mouth laughed.

"In your condition, you can still eat boxed meals?" Tong Yao smirked, "I’ll get you some bird’s nest soup."

"You’ve already decided what I’ll eat, why ask?"

"Just passing time." Tong Yao laughed, noticing Yi Luowa coming out. She quickly said goodbye to Big Mouth and took Yi Luowa and Tong Mengjie into the elevator.

In the elevator, Tong Mengjie said, "Auntie, Young Master Seven has a surgery, so he’s not coming with us. Young Master Five said they’re on their way, and Auntie will be leaving soon too."

"Okay." Tong Yao nodded, looking lovingly at Yi Luowa, and asked, "Do you like Western or Chinese cuisine?"

Yi Luowa smiled, "Whatever you like, we’ll eat that. I’m fine with anything."

Tong Yao laughed, "You’re really easy to please, aren’t you?"
