Chapter 117: Chapter 112: Sticky and Interesting! (Second Update)

"Which is more important, love or hobbies?" Tong Airui shot her a sideways glance.

You Jia chuckled and gave Ai Ni’s hand a squeeze, leaning in to whisper something in her ear.

Yi Luowa tilted her head, watching his lips move. Before he’d even finished speaking, she burst out laughing. This Prince You Jia was something else. What he’d told Ai Ni was that this was just a stopgap measure. Once they got married, he planned to force all of the guys to wear the underwear Ai Ni designed.

After hearing You Jia’s words, Ai Ni declared with great vigor, "I’ve made up my mind. Starting today, I won’t force you guys to wear my designed underwear anymore!"

Tong Airui was the first to pick up the phone. "Yuan Hang, buy me a dozen pairs of normal underwear right away!"

"Yun Jin, get me two dozen pairs of white underwear, ASAP." Tong Aino also called one of his subordinates.

"Sansan, can you get me—" Mi Chenshuo trailed off as Ai Ni glared at him menacingly, and his voice dropped lower.

"Is my painstakingly designed underwear really that hideous? Old Seven, Old Eight, what’s your deal? Are you planning to swap too?"

Mi Chenxuan shook his head. "I’m not switching. There’s no one stripping my pants to check, anyway."

Mai Zekai slowly adjusted his glasses. "I’m on Sixth Sister’s side. I’m not changing either."

"You two are the only ones who truly understand me!" Ai Ni flashed a satisfied smile, turning to look at Lance. "Big Brother, what about you?"

"Your sister-in-law said she likes them, so I’m not swapping either." Lance smiled and patted Ai Ni’s shoulder. "Big Brother has a suggestion for you: if this group doesn’t want to wear them, you could design some for Jacques, Duoduo, Dabao, and Erbao."

"That’s probably my only option." Ai Ni pouted. "They’re all acting so ungrateful. Mind you, the underwear I design sells for hundreds in the stores... Uncle, what’s your stance?"

Tong Yehua thought he’d hidden well among the crowd but was still dragged out by Ai Ni. "In the military, we’re all required to wear uniform gear. But whenever I’m back, I’ll definitely wear them."

"Deal!" Ai Ni grinned, then turned and shot a sinister look at Old Three, Old Four, and Old Five. Realizing she’d have to rely on them for now, she pouted. "Mom and Dad—you two soften them up for me. As for Grandpa, I’ll handle him. If it works out, all will be great. If not, I’ll elope with You Jia and make sure you’ll never see me again."

"Where exactly would you elope to? Aren’t you afraid Dad would send the army to drag you back to Xiawu?" Tong Aino snorted. "First off, let go of each other’s hands! What’s with all the clinginess?"

Tong Aino’s words were directed at Ai Ni, but his eyes darted toward Tong Airui and Yi Luowa’s joined hands.

Tong Airui’s voice took on a sinister tone. "Stare one more time!"

Yi Luowa shook their tightly clasped hands and, filled with amusement, looked at Tong Old Five. "Tong Aino, I’ve realized you’re overdue for a lesson! How about you and I settle this with a driving competition? If you lose, stop bringing me up in conversations."

Tong Aino curled his lip. "I was talking about Ai Ni. Why are you two getting so defensive?"

Yi Luowa raised her entwined hand with Tong Airui. "We’re not trying to be defensive—but your sidelong glances keep reminding us otherwise. Ready for the challenge? I’ll take you on anytime, anywhere!"

Tong Aino looked at Tong Airui. "Tong Airui, your woman’s gotten this cocky and you don’t step in?"

"Have you forgotten that Fourth Sister-in-law is MY woman? My woman is meant to be spoiled!" Tong Airui gazed at Yi Luowa with a tender smile. "Honey, I’ve got your back. Teach him a good lesson so he’ll stop being disrespectful toward you! But your leg injury hasn’t fully healed yet. Even if Old Five beats you, it won’t reflect well on him. How about waiting a few days before the match?"

"If she says she’s ready, then it’s fine. I accept the challenge! We’ll start with stationary drifting, then move to driving on two wheels." Tong Aino thought for a moment. "Let’s make it best two out of three. For the final round, you can pick something you’re good at so you don’t accuse me of bullying you."

Mi Chenxuan jumped in, "Kiddo, my Fifth Brother’s pulling a fast one. Those first two rounds he mentioned—they’re his specialties."

"I’m not scared. I’ll beat him at his own strengths." Yi Luowa turned to Tong Aino. "For the last round, I won’t even bother choosing. These first two rounds alone will be enough—I’ll make you admit defeat wholeheartedly. If you lose, stop antagonizing me from now on."

"If I lose, I’ll call you Fourth Sister-in-law and defer to you on all family matters! But if you lose?" Tong Aino provoked her.

Yi Luowa’s laughter came easily. "If I lose, I won’t be your Fourth Sister-in-law anymore. I’ll call you Fifth Brother for life! To make it bigger, if I lose, I’ll withdraw from every car race you compete in."

"You all heard that, right? Promise me you’ll testify!" Tong Aino turned to the crowd.

Everyone collectively rolled their eyes at him.

Tong Airui tightened his grip on Yi Luowa’s hand. "Honey, let’s change the stakes. That ’not being Fourth Sister-in-law’ part—a definite no-go!"

"Don’t believe in me?" Yi Luowa scrunched her nose at him.

"I do!"

"Then just stay quiet and watch. Being Tong Aino’s Fourth Sister-in-law is my destiny!"

Tong Airui glanced at Mai Zekai. "Should her injury be treated before the race?"

Mai Zekai lazily turned to Yi Luowa. "Want me to bandage it up for you?"
