For some reason, the sight of that yacht gave her an uneasy feeling.

“Honestly, how many handsome guys could there possibly be in the middle of the vast ocean? Wake up, girls! And even if there were, so what? Men, they’re just men after all.”

She swirled her champagne glass lightly, wearing an expression that said she was the only sober one among a crowd of drunks.

Her friends secretly cursed her for acting pretentious but kept their faces neutral, quickly chiming in to persuade her.

“Come on, of course we know men are just men, but we’re bored anyway.”

“Yeah, let’s go check it out. Maybe we can tease the guys over there.”

“Even if men are just men, there are still good-looking and not-so-good-looking ones.”

“Let’s go! We’ve got nothing better to do. Who knows, there might be a real hottie!”

After some coaxing from her friends, Bai Xiyi didn’t object. Their yacht slowly drifted toward Ye Chen’s.

As the two yachts drew closer, Bai Xiyi’s frown deepened.

Something’s off!

Why does this yacht look so familiar?

Where had she seen it before?

She racked her brain but couldn’t recall. Meanwhile, her friends grew visibly disappointed.

“Ugh, seems like there’s no one there.”

“Yeah, the deck’s empty. There’s just one guy in the water.”

“Ooh, this is when a telescope comes in handy!”

One of the women dashed into the cabin and returned ten seconds later with a telescope.

Amid the excited chatter, Weiwei raised the telescope and spotted Ye Chen floating lazily on the water.

She gulped audibly.

“And his body is insane!”

“Six or eight-pack abs, and that V-line!”

“Plus, his face is ridiculously handsome!”

“But, he looks kinda familiar.”

Before Weiwei could get a better look, her friend snatched the telescope away.

Then, the group of women let out a chorus of appreciative gasps.

“Slurp! His body is seriously amazing!”

“Yeah! And his face is so dreamy!”

“Right?! But I also feel like I’ve seen him somewhere before!”

“Who cares if he’s familiar? Let’s just go over and see! There’s only one of him and so many of us, it’s not like he can escape!”

The women were so excited their legs trembled, urging the captain to steer closer.

A few seconds later, their yacht pulled up beside Ye Chen’s.

Bai Xiyi finally got a clear look at the man in the water, her ex-husband.

Watching him lounge leisurely in the water, basking in the sun, with a massive sailfish on his yacht beside him, her vision blurred momentarily.

Memories of the past flooded her mind.

She had seen this yacht before!

It happened last year, during the transition from spring to summer.

She remembered clearly, one day, Ye Chen had suddenly told her he had a surprise for her.

Then, he took her to the marina, where she first laid eyes on that 20-million-dollar yacht.

She could still hear his words from back then:

“Babe, check out this yacht, isn’t it awesome? Let’s go out to sea tomorrow for a few days, just us.

I’ll fish, you can swim, and then I’ll make you sashimi and all kinds of delicious food.”

She vaguely recalled how excited he had looked when he said it.

But how had she responded?

Bai Xiyi rubbed her temples as another memory surfaced.

“Play, play, play! Is that all you ever think about? Why can’t you focus on your career?

Yes, you’ve achieved some success now, with a net worth of over a billion. But why stop there?

Beside them stood a stunning 95-point beauty.

Ye Chen raised an eyebrow, lifting his glass slightly in her direction.

“What a coincidence, sis. You’re out on the sea too?”

That single word, sis, stabbed at Bai Xiyi’s heart like a knife.

Her friends, however, gasped in surprise.

“No wonder he looked familiar! Xiyi, since when do you have such a hot younger brother?”

“Oh my god, Xiyi! Your brother is gorgeous!”

“Yay! If you’re Xiyi’s brother, then come join us!”

“Xiyi, I don’t care, I’m marrying your brother!”

“Back off! I’m the best candidate to be Xiyi’s sister-in-law! Out of all of us, I’ve got the biggest hips, perfect for bearing children!”
