Chapter 235: Chapter 235 Bite You
"Meow~ Meow~ Meow~" Wen Xiao’ai hummed a tune while wiping.
When one hand got tired, she switched to the other, continuing to wipe.
She was having fun, but it was tough for Jun Moyan.
"...Xiaoguai, are you done yet?"
"Not yet, what’s the rush?" Wen Xiao’ai stopped her motion, both hands wrapping around his neck as she looked at him.
"What’s wrong? Am I too heavy?"
"No."
"Why are your ears red again?" Wen Xiao’ai stretched out her hand to cover his ears, somewhat puzzled.
Jun Moyan didn’t reply, but instead tilted his side slightly, bent over as if to lay her on the bed, Wen Xiao’ai immediately hugged his neck tighter, and her legs clung to his waist, refusing to let go.
"I’m not done wiping."
"I’ll do it myself."
"No way, you dried my hair for me, I want to help you too."
"Then I won’t dry your hair for you anymore."
Jun Moyan, feeling slightly feverish, now just wanted to put her down, so that remark slipped out without thinking, and only after blurting it out did he realize what he had said.
Instantly full of regret, he swore this was definitely the first time he’d misspoken in his life.
"What did you say?" Wen Xiao’ai blinked, taken aback, questioning whether she had heard wrong.
"Nothing." Jun Moyan dared not look into her eyes, holding her as he stood straight: "Continue wiping."
"I’m not wiping anymore." Wen Xiao’ai jumped back onto the bed with a huff, tossing the towel into his arms.
Then she lay back down, pulled the blanket over her head, and covered herself.
"Xiaoguai."
"Don’t call me, I’ve never dried someone’s hair before, Princess here is doing it for the first time, and you’re even picky. Dry it yourself."
In fact, Wen Xiao’ai wasn’t upset about Jun Moyan not letting her wipe his hair, but about his remark about no longer drying her hair for her.
She hadn’t done anything wrong, so how could he just say he wouldn’t do it anymore?
Jun Moyan lowered his gaze to the towel in his hand, somehow at a loss.
He sat down by the bed, tugged at the blanket over her head, but Wen Xiao’ai held on tight.
"Xiaoguai, my hair is still not dry yet."
"Dry it yourself."
"You help me."
"Won’t help."
"..." Jun Moyan sighed softly and could only stand up and leave...
Wen Xiao’ai, hidden under the blanket, waited a good while without hearing any movement, so she flung off the blanket and sat up.
She glanced around the room anxiously, finally fixing her gaze on the shadow in the corner of the room, blinking as she asked, "What are you doing?"
"What you said, if I made you unhappy, I have to stand in the corner." Jun Moyan replied without turning his head.
His voice was as clear and indifferent as usual, but Wen Xiao’ai felt like he sounded a bit... wronged.
Looking at his back as he stood punished, Wen Xiao’ai felt a bit like laughing, yet she was also somewhat annoyed.
"...Come here."
Seeing her ask him to come over, Jun Moyan’s lips curved into a faint smile, which he quickly suppressed. He turned around and came over to the bed.
Wen Xiao’ai got up and jumped onto him again.
As soon as Jun Moyan extended his arms to catch her, Wen Xiao’ai bit down on his chin.
"Xiaoguai..." Jun Moyan froze completely, feeling as if the blood in his body was flowing backward.
He truly was going to be driven mad by this girl.
Wen Xiao’ai bit him for quite a while before she let go, looking at the bite marks on his chin, she felt her anger lessen considerably, "Next time if you upset me, I’m going to bite you again."
"Not angry anymore?"
"Hmph~" Wen Xiao’ai wrinkled her little nose, "Will you help me with my hair next time or not?"
"I will."
