Chapter 828 - Chapter 828 Chapter 828 Do As One Pleases
Chapter 828: Chapter 828: Do As One Pleases Chapter 828: Chapter 828: Do As One Pleases The argument between the two caught the attention of the other three passengers in first class. A young man turned his head, saw Zhang Caixin, and was instantly struck by her beauty, so he loudly intervened, “Hey, hey, what’s going on… you think it’s still the year of Gengzi or what?”
Then he quickly walked over, pointed at the handsome young man and asked, “Kid, which company are you with?”
“Trust me, you’ll regret knowing which company I’m from,” the handsome young man replied confidently.
The other man was merely making conversation, and hearing a not-so-friendly response, he ignored it and turned to Zhang Caixin, “Miss, do you need any help?”
Zhang Caixin glanced at him and shook her head slightly, “No, thank you.”
Having lived in the Magic City for some time, she was all too familiar with the ways of those foreigners. Relying on their complexion and fluency in foreign babble, they would proposition all sorts of free “friendly flings.” Sadly, the girls of the Magic City were naive enough to judge by skin color alone, not character.
She graduated from an art school, where the female students who took the art exam were hardly ever unattractive. The entrance of the school was a gathering place for all sorts of lecherous men, not to mention the “passionate young poets” from other schools who meddled in affairs.
From what she knew, for someone of Huaxia ethnicity wanting to date a girl, they’d have to pass certain “economic tests,” but as for those from other ethnic groups… well, let’s just say, a meal might lead to a “meet and greet,” if you know what I mean.
After all, they’re international friends, right? How could we show our nation’s hospitality if we didn’t greet them warmly?
She truly detested this short white good-looking guy but didn’t mind thanking this countryman who tried to break up the altercation.
He chuckled, “Haha, no thanks needed. Just wondering… are you also headed to the Magic City?”
Upon hearing this, Zhang Caixin couldn’t help but roll her eyes, thinking to herself that she’d love to get off in Suzhou, but the plane doesn’t stop halfway.
Turned out he wasn’t done talking, “I’m stopping in the Magic City before heading to Seattle… You’re not going to Seattle?”
Zhang Caixin figured he wasn’t any better, “Once the plane stops, I’ll get off. Now, I need to rest for a bit.”
The young man caught sight of her dismissive demeanor but wasn’t upset–after all, beauties were there to be pampered.
He said jokingly, “Don’t be mad, beautiful. Need me to teach this guy a lesson?”
Zhang Caixin gave him a cold glance, “I’m not mad. There aren’t many who are worth my anger. Alright, you can be quiet now.”
But he persisted, “Beautiful, how about your WeChat ID?”
Zhang Caixin simply closed her eyes and leaned back in her seat, too lazy to even look at him anymore.
However, he stood up, walked over to her, and reached out to touch her shoulder.
Zhang Caixin, without opening her eyes, raised her hand and slapped his away.
Only then did she open her eyes, looked at him dismissively, and said impatiently, “Stay away from me!”
His hand stung from the slap; his eyes bulged with anger, ready to explode, but upon seeing her beautiful face, he ultimately mustered a slight smile, “You’ve got quite a temper, beautiful. I really had no ill intentions, just wanted to get to know you.”
Zhang Caixin was thoroughly annoyed by these types of people. Due to her looks, she had been approached like this countless times since childhood. It was astonishing to witness the persistence these people had when it came to harassing beauties.
Could you call them bad? Not necessarily, but who knows what they were thinking, believing persistence alone would win over a beauty–did someone owe them something?
But it’s true some persistent fellows did manage to succeed, which is why there’s a saying, “Relentless suitors scare off no determined women.”
Zhang Caixin also found these people troublesome. She wanted to snap at them, but they hadn’t really done anything wrong; if she didn’t, they’d cling on endlessly. She couldn’t help but complain internally: Sure, I’m pretty, but did I eat your family’s rice?
The guy in front of her was likely harboring the same intentions, so she loudly called for a flight attendant, “Excuse me, could you handle this… Otherwise, I will complain about your inaction!”
“Heh,” he laughed, moving back to his seat, “Just so you know, beautiful, this plane belongs to Central Airlines, and my dad just happens to manage it. If I really wanted to do something to you, calling the flight attendant would be useless.”
Zhang Caixin gave him a sidelong glance and couldn’t help but snort, “You think you can afford to offend a first-class passenger?”
“And what about first-class?” he scoffed disdainfully, “Chartering a plane is not that big a deal. It wouldn’t be a problem for the company to blacklist you… Of course, I wouldn’t do that to a beauty like you.”
Zhang Caixin closed her eyes, not bothering to say another word–go entertain yourself.
The plane soon approached the skies above the Magic City, and during the descent, the flight attendants reminded everyone to buckle up.
While fastening her seatbelt, the guy who looked a lot like Tom Cruise gave a startled yelp and pulled out a lighter from underneath himself. With a puzzled face, he said, “What’s this all about?”
He knew that lighters were prohibited on Huaxia airplanes and that the related penalties were very strict, but… he only knew that much because he didn’t smoke, so his first reaction upon discovering the lighter was curiosity.
The flight attendant was coming over to help him fasten his seatbelt when she saw it and her face immediately changed.
Bringing a lighter onto the plane was one thing, but… you also had a foreigner’s face.
Alright, one must admit, the customers in first class really are a bit different. The flight attendant glanced at him and spoke without expression, “The plane is about to land, please take your seats and fasten your seatbelts.”
Tom Cruise quickly realized that he had found himself in big trouble and couldn’t help but shout, “Oh, shit, this isn’t mine… I fucking don’t even smoke!”
The flight attendant gave him a look and spoke coldly, “Sir, please keep quiet, the plane is in the process of landing.”
“I said, this isn’t my lighter!” The gentleman really found it hard to remain quiet, shouting while glaring fiercely at Zhang Caixin, “Bitch… are you framing me?”
After boarding the plane, he hadn’t left his seat, only Zhang Caixin had come near him and patted his shoulder.
The flight attendant raised her voice, “Sir, please keep quiet or we have the authority to take some forcible measures!”
The man had no choice but to shut up, but from his expression alone, it was clear that he was quite indignant.
Zhang Caixin didn’t even bother to glance at him. Once the plane had stopped, she slung a small Kun bag over her shoulder and left directly through the expedited passage, while Tom Cruise was surrounded…
Zhang Caixin walked out of the airport terminal, continuing non-stop towards the outside. She planned to find a secluded spot to take out the electric bicycle from her Storage Talisman. She didn’t want to ask anyone to pick her up, as that would mean more social niceties.
“Hey, beautiful,” a voice sounded from behind her, followed by someone running up, obsequiously asking, “No ride? I have a car; where would you like to go?”
The person who came was none other than the persistent man who had claimed he could blacklist her.
Zhang Caixin completely lost her cool, “Come on, do me a favor and tell me, what’s your dad’s name? You get bolder when ignored… Since you so want me in your house, I’ll make an effort–maybe I’ll become your stepmom.”
The smile stalled on the man’s face, followed by a darkening of his expression, “The fuck, I was being nice to you, and you’re pushing your luck? Trying to sell your pens all the way to Zhengyang and you really think you’re some kind of great merchandise?”
Initially, he didn’t dare to guess wildly–after all, she was sitting in first class, but seeing that she only carried a small Kun bag and had no other luggage, he immediately guessed that she was from a special service industry that carried their tools of the trade with them.
Zhang Caixin’s demeanor was indeed very refined, capable of passing as the offspring of the wealthy, but this raised the question: which wealthy family would feel secure letting their exceptionally beautiful daughter travel alone?
Thus, he concluded that she was nothing more than a woman in the flesh trade.
Zhang Caixin, however, just sneered and turned to leave, “You’ll regret saying these things.”
Seeing her turn to leave, the man couldn’t accept it, especially since he had three cronies following him–four big men in total, they couldn’t possibly let this little woman swagger off, could they?
So, the four of them started chasing, shouting loudly, “Stop, don’t run!”
Especially that “tenacious suitor,” who shouted even louder, unchanging in his determination, “Admit your mistake honestly, and I can let you off this one time…”
Zhang Caixin wasn’t planning on running; she just stepped to a blind spot in the camera coverage and immediately activated two Thunderclap Talismans.
The four men were zapped until they trembled all over and foamed at the mouth before fainting on the ground.
Zhang Caixin didn’t rush to leave; she simply took out her mobile phone and dialed Sister Hong’s number, “Sister, help me check on someone…”
Sister Hong had strong connections in civil aviation–that’s why she could afford to give away an airplane ticket so easily. Shortly after, she ascertained the identity of the troublesome man through the passenger list: Zhang Caixin’s nemesis was presumably Dong Yunjie, the nephew of the CEO of Central Airlines.
Dong Yunjie and his companions trembled on the ground for a while before regaining consciousness. When they lifted their eyes and saw Zhang Caixin smiling not far away, they flew into a rage once more, “Motherfucker, was it this whore that did this?”
“Your mouth is really filthy,” Zhang Caixin walked closer, suddenly holding a can of mace, giving each of the four men a dose. Listening to their cries, she then turned and walked away.
After she left, but when Dong Yunjie had recovered a bit, he swore not to let the matter rest. So, he too checked the passenger list, learning that the woman he had his eye on was called Zhang Caixin.
“The hell, this isn’t over!” He made another call to a friend, asking them to track down Zhang Caixin’s whereabouts–having her ID information made finding her address and such quite easy.
The address Zhang Caixin registered was from an area that had been demolished–that was the old address on her household registration. To find her would be a bit more troublesome; at the very least, they’d have to ask around with the neighbors of the old alleyway.
Who would have thought, before any news could be dug up, that afternoon Dong Yunjie’s uncle Dong Feng made a call.
