Without caring for her, the man staggered towards the restroom.

The red-dressed woman, caught off guard, crashed to the ground, hitting a janitor’s plastic bucket used for washing mops, spilling water all over her. The cold water splashed on her body, as chilling as her heart; it was as if it had opened a gaping, ice-cold hole in her despair.

She picked up the bucket of water, without thinking twice, and furiously threw it across the corridor, as if by doing so she could vent all her anger.

But at that moment, Tong Xi happened to step out of the restroom.

All the water from the bucket drenched Tong Xi.

This water was used for rinsing mops, even carrying a disgusting smell, making Tong Xi feel utterly nauseated, frozen in place.
