Betrayed By My Mate, Claimed By His Lycan King Uncle -
Chapter 102: Easy, Sorayah!
Chapter 102: Easy, Sorayah!
"Release the princess’s man now or let her harm herself," Kisha barked, her voice laced with terror and unwavering seriousness. Her eyes burned with conviction as she added coldly, "And when the Alpha Emperor learns of it, you won’t just lose your heads... your families will pay the price too."
The prison guards paled visibly. Without hesitation, they stood up straight, tension in their movements. Two of them rushed toward Rhys, swiftly unchaining him. As the restraints fell away, his weakened body collapsed to the hard stone floor with a sickening thud.
Kisha immediately led Anaya forward, guiding her to his side. The moment Anaya’s trembling hands touched Rhys’s bloodied body, her expression twisted in horror. She could feel the ragged wounds across his skin...warm, sticky blood coating her fingers as she traced the deep gashes on his chest and arms.
The scent of his blood was overpowering.
"Anaya," Rhys whispered, barely opening his eyes. They were swollen shut, purple and bruised, and yet he still reached for her, his trembling fingers brushing against her tear-stained cheek. "I’m okay..."
Seeing how Kisha had communicated with Anaya through touch, Rhys mimicked the motion. He gently wrote on Anaya’s palm with his finger, spelling out simple words. Just like that, she understood.
Without hesitation, Anaya collapsed into his embrace, her arms wrapping tightly around his battered form.
"We need to get out of here," Kisha said urgently, her voice stern and focused as she turned to Rhys. "You need immediate medical treatment. We have to leave before the Alpha Emperor and the Luna discover what’s happened here."
Rhys gave a slow nod and quickly wrote the same message on Anaya’s palm. Only then did she reluctantly pull away from his embrace, rising to her feet with strength she didn’t know she still had. She helped Rhys sit up, but when his weight became too much for her, two of the prison guards stepped forward at Kisha’s glare and supported him.
Together, they carried Rhys out of the cell, with Anaya and Kisha close behind, the air thick with tension and the scent of blood.

Meanwhile, back at Lupien’s palace, Sorayah had awoken earlier and quietly resumed her place in his resting quarters. As instructed by the eunuch, she stood by the Alpha Crown Prince’s bed, awaiting his awakening. She had been doing so for what felt like an eternity.
Still, Lupien did not stir.
Or perhaps... he was awake and only pretending to sleep to make her stand longer, to assert control.
Sorayah’s gaze flickered toward the burning incense in the corner of the room. Hidden beneath her outer robes, she clutched the strange substance Dimitri had handed her earlier. It felt warm against her skin.
He said he once lived in the human kingdom. But why? she thought to herself, her brows knitting slightly. He won’t tell me anything unless I open up first. But I’m not ready to reveal my truth.
"When did you get here?" a deep voice suddenly resounded behind her, sending a jolt of surprise through her body. "You couldn’t even wake me?"
Wake you? she scoffed internally. You’ve been awake the whole time. She swallowed hard and turned slowly to face him.
"Good morning, Your Highness," Sorayah greeted with a graceful bow, masking her irritation.
"Rise," Lupien said, a smile curling at the corner of his lips as his gaze locked onto her. "Did you sleep well?"
Before Sorayah could answer, a loud voice called out from beyond the chamber doors.
"Good morning, Your Highness! It is time for your bath and to get dressed!" came the eunuch’s shout.
"Come in," Lupien replied without looking away from Sorayah.
The door swung open, and his eunuch.. an aging, sharp-eyed man entered, followed by several female attendants carrying ornate bowls filled with warm water, fragrant herbs, rose petals, and delicate cloths.
"Greetings, Your Highness!" the servants chorused in unison, dropping into deep bows.
But Lupien didn’t spare them a single glance. His eyes remained fixed on Sorayah.
At the eunuch’s nod, the servants stood and approached, two of them stepping forward with bowls of water. But just as they reached Lupien’s side, he abruptly pushed both bowls away, sending the contents splashing across the marble floor.
Gasps filled the room. Sorayah and the servants recoiled in shock, and several maids dropped to their knees, trembling.
"Is the water not to your liking, Your Highness?" the eunuch asked, his voice tight with fear, his hands trembling.
"I want her to do it," Lupien said flatly, pointing a finger toward Sorayah. "Wash my face. And my legs and you’ll be doing it from now on."
"What?" Sorayah raised an eyebrow, then scoffed quietly. He really wants to die, doesn’t he? she thought with dark amusement as she stepped forward, her expression unreadable.
"Do as His Highness commands, now!" the eunuch snapped, panic flaring in his voice.
Sorayah walked up to Lupien with slow, deliberate steps. Two servants stepped forward quickly, holding out the water basin.
She dipped a white napkin into the rose-scented water and wrung it out. Then, without warning, she slapped it against Lupien’s face....not hard enough to injure, but far too forceful to be respectful.
You want me to wash your face? she thought with a smirk, pressing the damp cloth against his cheek with controlled aggression. Let’s see if you can handle the way I do it.
"Easy, Sorayah!" Lupien exclaimed, his voice laced with amused irritation as Sorayah continued to scrub his face like she was scouring a stubborn stain. "You’re a woman....your hands should be soft."
"You asked me to wipe your face, Your Highness," Sorayah replied coolly, rolling her eyes. "I’m afraid I’m not like every other woman." Her voice dripped with sarcasm as she continued to wipe his face with all the force she could muster.
"Ouch! Hey....careful!" Lupien winced with every rough stroke until she finally pulled the cloth away, satisfied.
"It’s time to wash your feet now, Your Highness," Sorayah announced with a falsely sweet smile. She knelt before him without delay, just as Lupien lowered his feet into the basin, splashing water right onto her face.
A burst of laughter escaped Lupien’s lips, full of delight at Sorayah’s irritated expression.
"Wash my feet nicely and gently," Lupien said with a playful grin. "Give them a good massage too."
"Yes, Your Highness," Sorayah said with a strained smile. She began scrubbing his feet, her movements anything but gentle. To his credit, Lupien managed to endure it until she started massaging his toes with deliberate roughness.
"Easy! Do you want to break my toes?" he cried, yanking his feet out of the water. "That’s enough! Just get me dressed....I have a court meeting to attend this morning."
"As you wish, Your Highness," Sorayah said, swallowing her amusement as satisfaction bloomed in her chest.
