Uzumaki Hinoka first appeared in the original story ten years later, during Naruto's voyage to find Killer Bee on an island filled with various summoning beasts called the Island of Forgetfulness.

However, by then, Hinoka had long perished due to a failed attempt to seal an artificial "Ultimate Summoning Beast." Only a remnant of her soul, unable to speak, wandered the island, yet she still played a crucial role in helping Naruto's group hunt down the rampaging "Ultimate Summoning Beast."

At this point in time, Uzumaki Hinoka was still alive. She had not yet been invited by the Land of the Sea to seal the Ultimate Summoning Beast born on the Island of Forgetfulness but was instead "invited" from the Land of the Sea by Zabuza Momochi on his return trip.

"Hello, Hinoka. I brought you here because I need your help with something," Neiki said gently, leading her to the sofa and pouring her a cup of tea.

"Please… please go ahead." Hinoka, taking a moment to glance at Neiki's eyes through his mask while holding the hot tea, quickly looked down as if caught doing something wrong.

"I need your powerful sealing abilities to suppress a Tailed Beast that is about to go berserk," Neiki said calmly, as if not noticing her reaction.

"Suppress a… Tailed Beast." Hinoka, incredulous at the words coming from the man before her, asked, "Suppress a Tailed Beast… isn't that what Lord Hashirama is best at?"

"Um… are you really… Lord Hashirama?" she finally mustered the courage to ask, staring at Neiki's mask.

Zabuza, standing beside them, showed no expression. The man before them was indeed Senju Hashirama. Although it was unclear how he was still alive, it had been verified numerous times, especially with the recent battle in Kirigakure, whose information had shocked many rogue ninja from the village.

Could it be that the reform of Kirigakure was truly about to begin?

When Zabuza received the order to fetch Hinoka from the Land of the Sea, she did not resist much, mainly due to the influence of Hashirama's name and Zabuza's repeated assurances that they were indeed going to meet Senju Hashirama.

The Uzumaki and Senju clans were closely related through generations of intermarriage, making them distant blood relatives.

Hashirama's wife, Mito Uzumaki, was a direct descendant of the Uzumaki clan, and Hashirama was equally significant to the Uzumaki clan. Both were well-known figures recorded in the Uzumaki clan's genealogy, which explained Hinoka's initial apprehension.

Even though the Uzumaki clan's shinobi village, Uzushiogakure in the Land of Whirlpools, was destroyed by enemy forces after Hashirama's death, the Uzumaki bloodline continued, with many members choosing to live incognito around the world. By Hinoka's generation, there was no lingering attachment or memory of Uzushiogakure, yet hearing that she was to meet Hashirama made her feel a mixture of disbelief and excitement.

After asking, Hinoka quickly explained:

"I'm not doubting you, my lord… But… Lord Hashirama was kind to our Uzumaki clan. Before I left, my mother told me to follow any instructions from Lord Hashirama without question… But she also said it had to be the real Lord Hashirama…"

The silent mask gave Hinoka great pressure. She pursed her lips and suddenly regretted her question. Was the truth really that important?

"It's fine, I understand," Neiki nodded, a hearty laugh emanating from under his mask. "However, this mission indeed requires your help because I may not have the energy to suppress the rampaging Tailed Beast."

"As for whether I am truly Senju Hashirama, I believe it doesn’t matter. I will pay your fee according to the market rate."

"This is just a transaction; there's no need to feel any burden."

Hearing his straightforward words, Hinoka felt relieved, yet more puzzled about the man's identity.

Was he really Lord Hashirama?

"Let's go. There's no time to lose. I'll show you." Neiki led Hinoka out of the office building to a waterfall in the back mountain. Behind the waterfall was a hidden cave.

Hinoka curiously looked around at the surroundings.

"How long did it take to get here? Did you encounter any trouble?" Neiki asked casually along the way.

"No, the Land of the Sea is not far from the Land of Waves. It only took us half a day to sail over." Hinoka said softly.

Neiki nodded slightly, walking ahead. Numerous lush roots and branches formed barriers that parted as he approached, creating a path for him. "What were you doing in the Land of the Sea?"

"Researching summoning beasts."

Neiki glanced back at her with a smile, "Research? Were you breeding summoning beasts?"

"Yes," Hinoka lowered her head in shame, "They hoped to use summoning beasts for war and were artificially breeding more dangerous and powerful new summoning beasts."

"If you dislike it, why did you participate?" Neiki sensed resistance in her words.

Hinoka lowered her head further, "I was afraid the dangerous new summoning beast would go berserk and harm the other summoning beasts on the Island of Forgetfulness. My task was to maintain the seal on that summoning beast… I'm sorry."

Hinoka finished speaking and noticed the man in front pause briefly before continuing, his voice drifting back:

"So, Hinoka… how far along is your experiment?"

"According to the researchers, it's almost complete because my seal is becoming increasingly unstable. Before I left, they were still searching for a stable sealing method…"

So, the "Ultimate Summoning Beast" capable of devouring all summoning beasts and incorporating their abilities into its own was about to be born.

"Did you find a suitable sealing method?"

"Jinchuriki… like sealing a Tailed Beast, they plan to seal the summoning beast into a human," Hinoka sighed.

As a member of the Uzumaki clan, she was the best candidate for this experiment, but even she had no confidence in sealing the artificial summoning beast within herself.

She had witnessed its terrifying power and might firsthand.

"We're here." As Neiki's steps halted, Hinoka looked down at the cliff edge beneath her feet. There was a dark abyss, and a baby-faced man was suspended above it, entwined in numerous vines.

"This is Yagura Karatachi, the Fourth Mizukage of Kirigakure and the jinchuriki of the Three-Tails, Isobu," the eye visible under Neiki's mask was very calm, "The Three-Tails inside him is about to go berserk. Isobu can control the tides, and if an accident occurs, it could bring disaster to the entire Land of Waves. I need your help."

Hinoka's expression turned serious immediately. Although she did not sense any signs of the Tailed Beast going berserk from Yagura, Hashirama had no reason to lie. Given the severity of the situation involving so many lives in the Land of Waves, she had to take it seriously.

"I will do my best!" Hinoka declared firmly.

"Good. Once I lift the seal I placed on him, he will immediately enter a berserk Tailed Beast state. That's when I need you to act."

Neiki said, then leaped down, pressing his single hand against Yagura's abdomen, surrounded by black flames, then twisted counterclockwise.

The next moment.

"Boom!!!"

The cold spring erupted.

Yagura's body underwent a dramatic transformation, eventually becoming a giant turtle covered in spikes with three tails.

Isobu.

Reemerged.

Feeling the furious aura of Isobu below, Hinoka pursed her lips and opened her hands:

"Sealing Jutsu: Adamantine Sealing Chains!!"

Countless brilliant golden chains materialized out of thin air, binding Isobu tightly.

"Not bad." Above the cold spring, Neiki looked up and commented lightly.

Simply restraining the Tailed Beast could be done better by the reanimated Hashirama, but Neiki did not want him to know what he was about to do, so he found another person.

He took a step forward and, when he looked up again, was in a dark yellow water domain.

This was the spiritual world of Yagura, the jinchuriki of the Three-Tails.

Before him, the bound Isobu glared at Neiki with its small eyes.

Then, with an angry roar, the robe flew.

Boom—

Neiki held onto the mask that was almost blown off.

"Really… just borrowing some of your chakra, and you're so stingy."

"But this time, your anger is useless."

He extended a hand, a ghostly blue light shining, then he thrust his glowing hand into Isobu's body!

A roar mingled with a cry of pain.

It struggled, but it couldn't break free from the golden chains.

A massive amount of chakra belonging to Isobu was extracted by Neiki.

"As expected, only inside a Tailed Beast can one find this much chakra," Neiki sighed.

Then his pale white eyes began to rotate.

The third ability of the awakened Byakugan—the replication ability—activated!!

This ability consumed a vast amount of chakra. Even to simply replicate a kunai, it required at least one-tenth of Neiki's chakra, which was after perfectly absorbing Hashirama's cells.

To replicate something more complex, relying solely on Neiki's chakra reserves was impossible. Given the capture of the Three-Tails jinchuriki, Ne

iki decided to use his chakra.

Using the chakra of others to replicate Neiki's belongings.

And Neiki's target of replication?

It was himself.
