Ken kept a cool countance throughout the talks he had been summoned back to. Was he to make a choice, this isn’t the place he wished to be at now! He had a female and family to return to, even his birth home couldn’t compare.

Besides him stood Shawn who was equally silent. Shawn knew where these talks could lead off to but he didn’t let his mind be affected by such petty actions. At this point now, his position in the family was unshakable! He completely had no worries.

"Now that the clan’s matter is out of discussion. Ken, my son! I’m glad you are doing great with your female nowadays!"

"It’s bound to be the case father! But ..I’m not sure why you called me here. To attend boring meetings?!" Ken asked with a bitter feeling.

"Hahah..look at you! Why are you overreacting!? We are family! Is your father no longer permitted to summon you over?"

"What is it that you want?" Ken didn’t want to waste another second here. He was cut with his words.

"Well! Since you and the others returned to the city with your female safe and sound, I’ve been meaning to ask you...can you ask your Female to take in a few more wolf beastmen? You know we are very loyal to our mates. No tribe ....."

"I’m sorry father...what?!" Ken wanted to snap but could only smile at his foolish father. Had his memory been clogged that he forgot!

"Haha...your cousins and your elder brother, Kazin returned while you were away.. remember he had never gotten a mate, not even when he wondered the wild! So...I’m asking you as your father to put in a good word for Kazin! You know he’s like no other! He’s actually a better choice than some dumb blind ork." The wolf king didn’t mince out his words as he bluntly insulted Shawn.

"You want me to ask my mate to replace Shawn with Kazin?" Ken asked with a sneer.

"What’s with that attitude? Isn’t Kazin a better choice?!" The Wolf king asked feeling offended for the attitude his own son showed him.

"Do I have to remind you that male beasts have no say in who a female takes in as part of her family?!"

"I know that pretty well but what’s with saying a few good words about another male to your Female?! Huh?! Are you getting all possessive now?" The wolf king was livid.

"Hahah....father! I’m a little disturbed by your sense of humour. But I won’t be saying anything for anyone!" His voice turned stern as he looked over to Kazin daringly. "If he’s so capable, he came come try and woo her! I did my part under my own capabilities and finally got noticed...why should I let others have a smooth sailing!? Besides, our home already has two wolf beastmen, anymore would become a nuisance. I’d prefer another clan to present their own than more from the wolf clan!

"I’ll make you king!" the wolf king blurted out. He needed Kazin inside that female’s home.

"Why would I wait for that when I can just defeat you and take that place? I’m not interested in your position anyway! Kazin is back! I’m sure he’d be more than glad to become king or, you can choose from the tens of sons you have!" Ken said nonchalantly and looked over to his brother who was two litters older than him.

"Why are you being stubborn?!" the king couldn’t hold himself back. He had come up with this idea after careful consideration for the future greatness of the wolf clan.Yes his son Ken was good with what he did but was too bad at winning favour of the female and this female was no simple female! Her future shone so bright and he feared his son maybe unable to utilise her potential to the benefit of the wolf clan. But Kazin was different! He was a good strategist that needed to be planted in the female’s household! But the only problem now was the approach. Two over ten rank beastmen who were both not to be messed with were her chosen ones. They were clearly possessive of their female but dared not to act rashly with those that the female treasured and a good example was Shawn. That’s why he had gone out of his way to summoning Ken.

"Little brother...aren’t nice things meant to be shared among brothers?" Kazin who had been silent all along spoke up but his eyes were locked on Shawn. He had a good build like most beastmen and he was a seventh rank beast already! He was a warrior too. His only foul trait was his sinister aura to the point that his scent smelt...sinister!

"Brotherhood has nothing to do with it. Only those deserving will have the honour to a share!" Ken smirked. He could see the foolishness clouding his brother’s mind. He too had once been like that but luckily, he had changed in time saving his future but his brother was a goner!

"And a blind beastman is more deserving than your own blood brother?" Kazin asked.

"Yes. Please don’t waste my time ever again for useless matters." Ken said and turned to leave.

"We were having a discussion..you can’t leave just like that!’ Kazin’s cold voice halted Shawn in his steps but Ken paid no heed. "Let’s leave already! Sydney must be up and will want to see us." Ken put his hand on Shawn’s back in a brotherly manner and guided him out of the hall as eyes of envy followed after them! They record of their female’s delicious scent!

Ken had cajoled Shawn to use skin Sydney had used to cover the bed last night after their activities that were filled with her scent as their own skin skirts to show off. Not that alone, the fact that they had the scent of their female infused in their skin pores was a prideful thing! All clansmen were envious of their Prince and the blind Shawn.

Sydney was scorching hot when Sydney went to find the others with Caden by her side. Against the heat, they made it to the eastern part of the city where both Ash and Titan were still dueling. This had been going on since the morning hours. They kept their human forms to avoid creating any form of. damage to their surroundings.

Hundred of snake beasts were gathered and cheering for their lord and other different species also looked on in awe. Rumor has been going around of how Titan was as huge as a mountain and many had gathered to witness the scene themselves but unfortunately the duel wasn’t a competitive one but friendly hence the scen wasn’t bloody

Caden let out a screech announcing his arrival. The two fighting below looked up to see their female waving at them with a shy smile. They halted their fight and waited for Caden to land before they went for her each altaking a side of her body to hug. It was so harmonious to the point of driving hundreds with envy!

Besides, they weren’t officially mated...one could only imagine how much love they’d bask in if they were mated.

"Hey!" Sydney greeted shyly. She dared not look at Ash and Titan as vivid images of what they had done to her flashed through her mind. Maybe because of their ranks as beastmen but their presence last night was greatly welcomed by her body.

Shawn smiled seeing her shy expression. He spared her lest he sparks off flames that had gone down a bit.

"Why are you here?" Titan was a different case. His voice had gone raspy from just holding her for mere seconds. He was dying to take a go at what he had done last night but also knew a chance like this could only wait until next year during her second heat.

"I heard you two were dueling so I came to see!" she said she she looked around. The arena was quite neat for them to have been dueling seriously. "I want to watch you two duel. I’ll be at the sides so carry on!" Sydney said and held Caden’s hand to step aside.

"Okay. Keep your eyes on us alone!" Titan cooed and Sydney blushed profusely. So stingy! The place was floaked with hundreds of young handsome men...she was a woman you know!

She nodded obediently and followed Caden who before could leave to get her a seat was offered a smoothed out rock by a young beastman like he had been waiting all his life for the opportunity.

Sydney looked at the red faced young male and smiled. His nose bled as he admired the female before him. "Thank you!" Her soft voice reached his pointed twitching ears and a tent rose in his skin skirt
