Chapter 196: Titan, Kevin and Ray.

They can?" Sydney asked with a raised brow as she found herself a seat.

Unless we are to move out." Ray said through gritted teeth.

I think I can see what’s going on here. Lord Storm is playing mind games with us right now, either, I agree to marry one of his sons but if I refuse then Ray has to acknowledge them as his family." She said with a shrug.

How dare they?!!!" Greg flipped shooting to his feet.

It’s not like this is our home. We can move." She said.

But...." Ray was reluctant.

I don’t mind and besides, there’s something I must set out to find. Either way, we won’t be staying here forever so why not?" She asked her eyes falling on all of them.

You wish to find something?" Ash asked. There was no need for her to be expsoed to harsh weathers when they were by her side. "What is it? Two of us can set out to go find it." He said

You won’t be able to find it without me so I must go along." She said.

So you already had plans to leave in the first place." Caden noted and she tactically agreed.

The others were a little confused. Normally females liked to settle down once they had found their mates, same was for Sydney in her last life. Though their home was a little far from the city, she didn’t travel around and settled.

What I need to find is of great importance to me." She said not wanting to divulge more on the details. She was sure that if she told them that she was doing this for them, they’d be touched by her but would definitely prefer to live this life the way it is now.

Okay." They all agreed. They naturally not willing to stay in a place where their mate was forced to do something she didn’t like but since they currently weren’t strong enough, the best choice was to leave.

After four days, Titan finished digesting his meal and slithered off from the small island, he went over to meet the beast spirits.

There was an exchange amongst them and he learnt that these beasts were originally beastmen, some spirit beasts and others mere beasts but somehow, their souls had been forced out of their bodies then brought here. A good number of them had before attempted to leave but they vanished. This scared many of them and from that moment on, they chose not to leave.

Many had come to a conclusion that if someone maybe took them out of here, they might be able to survive and get back to their bodies but that was merely their own conjunction and had no idea whether it’d turn out successful or not.

Titan looked at these souls in deep thought. He asked for a moment to think about it and he went back to the small island.

Once his silhouette was out of sight, a lion spirit and fox spirit floated towards each other with trembling eyes.

It’s her scent!!!!" The fox said with a tremble in his voice.

I thought I was imagining it because I missed her so much!!!" The black lion also said his beast blue eyes coated with tears.

Then that means Lilly was successful and Sydney really did come back to life!!!" The fox said with a jump. His heart was already racing erratically.

We must leave with him!!! At all costs!!!" The fox said .

We should. We should also try to befriend him and learn more about his mate.but I’m sure it’s her!!!"

After a day, Titan decided to take them with him. Just so you all know, of any of you dispitates then it’s their own problem and it has nothing to do with me." He said and the thousands of souls gathered around him nodded in agreement.

As for how he was to take them out? There existed precious stones called spirit stones. These stones were birthed by mother to nurture spirits. Those spirit stones contained spirit liquid, just likw tje one these beasts were currently swimming in and at the bed of the spirit pond lay hundreds of stones. These cryptal clear stones were considered their abodes and in each stone, three to five souls could be contained and once a soul was inhibited in the stone, the stone would change to a given colour.

Titan wasn’t that generous to help them but when he thought of Sydney and what she’d do in this situation, he chose to go by what she’d do and that was to help them to the best of his ability.

Titan had a pouch which every beastman had and his had a big space because he was also quite big.

He begun to pack those stones in his pouch one after the others but after packing a few hundreds, there were still many who wished to go. He tossed out his crystals to create enough space.

The black lion and fox also occupied a stone of their own with another one of their own.

Titan packed his pouch till it was full to the brim, he also went ahead and put in a few empty crystal stones for emergency.

By the end of what he’d consider as a day, he was ready to go. Some spirits stayed behind as they didn’t wish to go back because they felt there was nothing to return to after all, some had died while others had no families or.mates to go back to.

At this rate, Titan in his half beastform was no different from a pregnant woman and when he looked down at his bulged belly, a frown crept onto his handsome face with one thought in his mind. Ugly!!!

He really did look ugly!!!

He randomly took out a spirit stone from his pouch. Which way can I use to leave this place? I won’t be able to climb up where I came from." He said.

Oh... I’ll lead the way " the spirit in the spirit stone said and vibrated to show him to direction to take.

Odd as it may sound, Titan actually took out the spirit stone that contained the black lion and fox.

You don’t seem like a snake beastman to me." The fox said observing Titan through the spirit stone.

Why do you think so?" Titan asked as he slithered to the direction the spirit had taken.

Well, there are horn buds on your head. Snakes don’t have horns." The fox said pointing out.

Titan was surprised and he used his hand to feel his forehead and true, there were two lumps there. I’m a special snake." Was all he said and slithered forward at a fast pace.

After four days, he had come to a stop where there was no more spirit liquid but bare earth. I’ll dig my way out. Thanks." He said placing the spirit stone back into his pouch then used his hands to dig at the soil. This was an easy fit for him since he had dug up a few caves for himself and the surface wasuch more tougher than the soil now.

It took only half a day and he had dug his way out of the soil back onto the surface but he wasn’t careless knowing Red was looking for him

With a flick of his tongue, he could tell that a huge water body was about fifteen days from where he was. He’d have to move fast and avoid being spotted by other spirit beasts.

He looked at his snake body and frowned. Too eye catching." He murmured. This golden colour was really not food at sometimes. He could use his camouflage but if he moved and someone noticed this bizarre scene, his position would definitely be given away and right now since he was using his pouch to carry a good thousand spirits, he couldn’t take on a human form, they’d be crushed from within him.

Left with no choice, he withdrew his poison and turned into a blue snake wholly. This beastman nature would also give him away since this territory was for the spirit beasts.

He set off on his journey, day and night for a while week without coming to a stop. When he was bored, he’d half shift and dig out a random stone to talk to the spirits within it but every time he did so, he’d pick out the one with the black lion and fox.

He learnt their names. The Lion was called Ray and the fox was Kevin.

Surprising, I also know of a lion beastman named Ray." Titan felt that these two weren’t really bad company. There’s another one inside the stone with you. Why’s he not as active as you two?" Titan asked curiously.

Well, he was injured and fell asleep." Kevin the fox said sadly.

Injured? Did he attempt to leave the spirit pond?" Titan asked curiously.

Mm. He did attempt to do that but when he left with those few that had gone, he was the only one who managed to make it back. From that moment on, he fell asleep and we couldn’t wake him up no matter what." Ray said with a sigh too. We had already told him it’s be impossible to leave! We also missed our mate but we didn’t want to die without ever getting to see her again."

Oh...you you three share the same mate?" Titan asked as he slithered through a dense forest.

Mm." Kevin replied.

Then if you are all here then what of her?" When speaking of mates, Titan couldn’t help thinking of Sydney. If anything, he’d do his best to go back to Sydney as soon as possible.

She died." Ray said with a choke. But someone said to help us bring her back to life if we offered an equal sacrifice." He added immediately.

And you are sure she is alive?" Titan felt pity for them but what they were saying was practically impossible. He had lived for so long but he had never heard of someone coming back to life.

She is. We can sense her." Kevin said confidently.

She must have been a nice female for you to sacrifice yourselves for her." Titan said and feel into silence. If he also ce to such a point in life, he’d surely do so! He’d give up everything just for her to come back to life. Though with him around, he wouldn’t let anything happen to her
