That was their worst mistake, ever!!!!

Enzo caught Ray’s hard expression and clasped his hand on his shoulder. "Hold it in for now..." His voice was a s low as a whisper.

Mm, I understand. " Ray also naturally wouldn’t act recklessly. He was already lucky to have his current cover, for if he really still had his beast with him, there’s no way his brothers wouldn’t have been able to notice him.

Once they were home, tue door was pusjed open akd the company of eight entered into their territory shutting the door at tue faces of their followers.

Hiss, damnit!!" One male who was closest cursed seeing that the door had been shut at his face almost knocming out his few front teeth. He intended to enter too, with his current power, the seven of him to push him out would require alot of effort and if tuat happened, the female would naturally wake up and if she saw him being able to deal with all her mates on his own, would he need more to win her heart?

The other brothers and few friends laughed at his plight.

Shut up!" Fifth who had been shut out bellowed out in anger.

Heheh..." The others followed his anger with low laughs.

Once they were inside, Ash lay Sydney on her bed and covered her only leaving her small red head poking out.

Like a tradition, all of them came over one after the other and offered her a kiss on her forehead and cheeks to wish her a good night. After that, they tactically stepped out of the bedroom to let her rest while they went to the sitting room.

From there, they could hear what those that were following them were talking about.

Once Ash and the others left the room, Sydney who was believed to be sound asleep flittered her eyeslids open amd she looked at the ceiling.

Sigh ... Seems like her in laws were not good guys at all!

According to Core’s observation, the storm lord ajd his sons had the bloodline of spirit beasts which varies in density from one to the other.

Around ten to fifteen sons jad active bloodlines of relevant densities which was a bad thing for them. In terms of strength, spirit beasts naturally held a stronger front and advantage over beastmen. So the fact that Ray was hunted down by his own family only confirmed their guess of him having a much superior spirit beast bloodline than his father and brothers.

But at a time like this where his beast spirit wasn’t with him, their chances of facing off with Ray’s family fell gradually as they mostly had Ash on their side who held a stronger bloodline. Enzo too was considered strong but if pull came to shove, then calculating the odds of his wins would be unstable.

She thought it through, since Ray didn’t have his beast anymore, maybe his family wouldn’t hunt him down anymore but again, that was hard to come to a conclusion over.

If only there’s a way to retrieve their beast spirits back..." She said with a sigh very troubled.

Spirit forest.

Titan successfully managed to cover his tracks from Red’s hunt and he continued to press forward. This was a very different path from rhe one he had taken with red when they ventured into the inner regions.

He walked for a week before he came to a stop so that he could take time to hunt. After scanning his surroundings and ensuring that no one wa within his vicinity, he took on his beast form and put his camouflage on. He did his best to shrink his body but who asked him to have such a huge form? The size he could shrink off was not even a half of his original form. This caused him to sigh deeply and heavily.

If only he knew how Red did it, then...sigh....

He could only continue to sigh some more then slither around his hige body knocking against tree as he paved a way for himself. His golden eyes focused on finding a prey that could keep him sated for a good two weeks.

He slithered for a short while before he climbed a tree coiling his invincible body over it to lay low in ambush.

Time trickled by slowly.....

As Titan lay waiting, he sensed something and looked up only to catch Red’s huge body fly past this area. He couldn’t help cursing in his mind. However, he only further enhanced his concealment and lay low. Red flew aroind a few rounds before he finally chose to find another area to inspect lest the little prince ran off to the beast continent.

Though crossing over would be considered impossible, it was better not to underestimate the power of escape!

Titan heaved a sigh of relief when he sensed that Red had gone away. Just in time, his prey was within his vicinity. It was a huge six legged deer spirit beast. Since these spirit beasts had not much difference from normal beasts except for their additional limbs or eyes, ability to talk or peculiarity, to Titan, they were all food!!

And after eating them for a while, he learnt that their meat was a whole lot better from that of normal beasts.

The six legged deer was enjoying himself muncing delightedly on a few ripe spirit berries when he felt the whole of his body furs line up in spikes.

His chewing came to a pause and before he resumed nonchalantly like he hadn’t sensed the danger, if not for his spiked fur, his calm countance would be capable of fooling even Titan.

Truly spirit beasts, unlike normal beasts who would have already scampered off like crazy. This one acted calm, only he knew just how fast the geers of his head were turning as he tried to ascertain the location of his hunter lest he ran into his mouth directly.

Titan who was hangong off the tree softly uncurling his body to have a better chance at striking was amused greatly. If not for food, he’d definitely be laughing his stomach off.

The deers eyes darted to the left akd right at tue rustling sounds but he was currently confused at the correct direction the sound was coming from. He was almost in tears!! Seems he’d have to trust his instincts now! This guy was out to eat him whether he liked it or not!

The deer huffed and his hooves stomped softly, he was prepared to break off into a sprint. Thankfully, he had an extra pair of legs, this enhaced his chances of survival.

Go!" The deer let out a cry from his mouth and broke off into a crazy run. It was just in time as Titan striked.

Hiss.... His jaw snapped together missing his target by a few furs!

His whole body uncoiled from the tree falling to the forest leaving the ground shaking.

Mommy!!!" The six legged deer let out a cry as his six legs zoomed like sonic the hedgehog.

He was fast, fast enough to leave behind a blurr!

But Titan wasn’t one to be underestimated, he was a formidable existence with great hunting ability, his speed could even be uncaught if one didn’t have their attention on him, so, the deer was in for a hot chase.

Titan didn’t wish to cause a great commotion that could attract both red and those that were hunting him to this area. He sped off and the deer’s tail was just a few meters from his snake head but every time he opened his mouth to bite, if was like the deer had found a new reason to live and would increase the speed at which he ran.

Don’t talk about Titan chasing, wherever he passed, the hundreds or not thousands of years old trees were forced to bend and others directly be crushed.

This constant missing begun to anger Titan a bit and his snakey eyes turned into slits giving off an eerie and irritated energy. Titan slithered forward so as not to loose his prey but he countered to shot his killer hunting move, as he slithered, the length of this body continued to fall short, almost like his body was rolling inside of him. As the deer ran off to over five hundred metres from Titan, his body shot out like a bullet, shattering all tree in his way.

The deer knewz that it’s life had come to an end as it’s formerly well lit path up ahead turned dark as it entered Titan’s stomach and with a snap, his jaw was closed up, his body falling heavily onto the ground.

Red who wasn’t far smirked triumphantly. Luckily, he hadn’t gone off too far trusting his instincts. This young prince had surely fallen hungry and couldn’t avoid exposing himself.

He shot forward like an arrow, determined to detain this young prince in a single swoop. As for the rest, he’d allow a little beating here and there.

Titan who was yet to begin enjoy swallowing his food in harmony turned his snake head to the skies only to see Red.

Shit!!" He cursed and re activated his camouflage but his speed had fallen drastically..he was already God knows where, so he just randomly took a direction and slithered off into a run.

Not that he was afraid of Red, no. Now that he was eating and rhe food was already making its way into his belly, if he were to be captured, his opinions would hardly matter
