The group continued to draw closer and closer but there was no reaction from Sydney and her mates.

If it had been only Shawn and Ken, maybe they wouldn’t have been able to hold up against the group as they had numbers but with Ash and Ray who were familiar with battles, the strays were beat blue and black, some killed.

The leader wanted to run it was subdued by Ray in a few moves. He broke his limbs one after the other. "What did you say?" Ray asked as he placed his foot on the beastman’s broken leg. All it would take was a bit of force and his bones would be crushed.

Sydney sat on the tree branch under Caden’s care and looked at how the four dealt with the group of strays. "Wow...such battle powress!" She couldn’t help commenting. Her only experience was on her bonefire ceremony. Other than that she hadn’t seen much!

"He’s hopeless. Let him go!" Ash couldn’t bare to look at him. He even couldn’t feel ruthless!

"Wait!" Sydney called out and rushed over to their side. "Where’s your colony!?" She asked the Criss crossed eyed male.

"It’s a few days from here. We had gone out to steal females from those migrating groups!" The poor male said it all. " We were only lucky enough to get six females. The other stray colonies are stronger than us so they stole most females from us. They have more than we have. I’ve said everything now, please let me go!" He pleaded rubbing his hands together in plea.

"You know this area well enough?!’ Sydney asked.

"Not very well." He said the fact.
