Chapter 203: What are you doing to me?

"Hurry up’’ Kaizer broke out of his daze when Darya started to shout at him. Seeing him sit still made Darya anxious. Its master’s condition was getting dire as time passed.

On the other side, Kaizer felt complicated about the entire situation. Beastmen generally didn’t have a problem walking around naked because most of the time they were in their beast forms but it was different for females. No matter how ignorant he was of the outside world, he knew that females showed themselves without clothes to only their mates. And as a stranger to her, it didn’t seem right for him to undress her and bathe her.

However, seeing her deteriorating condition, kaizer had no choice and stretched his hands toward her. Right at that moment, Darya finished filling the water and looked back at Kaizer, ’’Do this properly. I will be going now’’ and with that, it disappeared in thin air leaving him alone with Lyra.

Kaizer was stunned and looked around but couldn’t even find a trace of that weird blue creature. He only knew about Lyra having some kind of mystic powers and guessed that the creature was part of it. Then he glanced at the bunny lying on the ground. She grew more mysterious the more he got to know about her. In fact, he didn’t even know her that well and wished to know her more. There must be something going on around her for her to always fall into danger.

Even now, she was in agony and pain. Kaizer made up his mind and hoisted her up by her waist. She was wearing a tube top and a long skirt. He gathered her shining blonde hair to one side before he untied her top with his trembling fingers. The fabric slipped out of her body and Kaizer felt her warm body against his chest. He felt his breath hitch and closed his eyes shut trying to keep his composure. This felt so fucking wrong! He felt like he was doing something that he was not supposed to do.....but his evil mind said otherwise. He liked it! He liked the feel of her soft and warm body against his.

Kaizer clenched his jaw so hard and bit his lip until it bled. The pain stopped his mind from wandering and taking a deep breath he removed every single piece of fabric on her body. He also made sure to keep his gaze on the walls of the cave and didn’t dare look down at her. Then he carried her towards the water pond and lowered her inside it. He felt her shiver due to the cold water and frowned, ’’It will be over soon’’ he didn’t know whether he was saying this to her or himself.

Soon he started to wash her starting with her hair. It was fine until then but the real problem began when he was supposed to touch her body. Kaizer swore that this was more difficult than his training in becoming an immortal beastman.

’’The things you make me do!’’ he briefly looked down and glared at Lyra. He felt pathetic because even now, the first thing that came to his mind seeing her face was ’So pretty’ Why the heck was she so damn pretty? Wasn’t it unfair to look like this while she was literally feeling unwell?

’’Damn it!’’ he cursed out loud as he continued to wash her. He didn’t care anymore and looked at her nakedness. She was so beautiful that it hurt! The moonlight entering through the cave entrance fell on her pale skin making it gleam. As her condition improved, the color started to return to her face and body.

After washing her thoroughly, Kaizer removed his own robe before covering her with it. Even though now he was naked, it felt better than her being bare for his own sanity. Then he laid her on the ground and started making a fire by collecting some wooden sticks and dry grass. As the fire lit up, Kaizer looked at his sleeping bunny. She looked more comfortable than before. He realized that the creature was right when it informed him about bathing her.

A smile unknown to him tugged on his lips the more he stared at her. He moved forward and lifted her making her sit on his lap. He made sure to not touch her directly and only hugged her through the robe because Kaizer didn’t think he could control himself if he touched her like that.

As her head leaned against his shoulder, he instinctively reached out before caressing it. Her hair was slightly damp as she had just taken a bath.

Serene silence filled the entire cave and the only thing that could be heard was Lyra’s even breathing. She was sleeping without any care in the world and that somehow made Kaizer talk, "You know, this is the first time" he chuckled before continuing, "This is the only time you have ever been silent and calm in front of me"

Recalling their previous meetings made him smile. The first time, he ever saw her was in her home when he tried to kidnap her. He still remembered slipping and falling which made her laugh at him. And the second time was even worse. He got stuck inside some stupid bushes and she was the one to save him.

He always embarrassed himself in her presence. Kaizer found out about his clumsiness due to her.

He couldn’t help it. The moment he set his eyes on her, Kaizer felt unlike himself. He was weirdly nervous and anxious facing her. The more he thought of showing her his strong side, it always turned the opposite. At last, he ended up showing her his vulnerable and weak side that even he didn’t know about.

She discovered the new him without her knowledge and showed him how different he could be. He was sure that she didn’t know these things.

She had other males by her side. Why would she even care about someone like him? He was a nobody to her after all. It was his greediness that made him want her.

"I feel scared" he blurted out his thoughts, "Is it too much for me to desire you?"

Of course, there was no answer to that because Lyra was sleeping. Kaizer tightened his hold on her and buried his face in her nape.

So many new feelings that was he experiencing for the first time suffocated him but it felt sweet. Even the painful thoughts of her felt oddly satisfying.

Was this normal? He didn’t know. But did he want to continue feeling like this even if hurt him in the end? Yes. Countless times yes.

"What are you doing to me, bunny?" he asked in a helpless voice like someone who was on the verge of death.
