"I don’t like daughters," Lu Tianxing stated seriously.

"Why?" Bai Zhiqing asked, taken aback. She had expected Lu Tianxing to say something like ’whether it’s a boy or a girl, I’ll love them all the same’—isn’t that how it’s played out in the TV dramas? Had they gotten the script wrong?
