The gentle voice of the flight attendant came through the speakers.

Qiao Sang opened her eyes and looked out the window.

The plane had successfully landed.

Qiao Sang took out her phone, turned off airplane mode, and decided it was too late to call. Instead, she sent a message to her mother saying she had arrived.

Sun Boyi stood up, turned his head, and advised,

"Put on an extra piece of clothing, everyone. The Ancient Mist Region is colder than where we’re from, and the temperature difference between day and night is significant. Without proper clothing, you’re likely to catch a cold."

"Finally arrived. Thank goodness we were in first class, where you can lie down. If it had been economy, I’d be wrecked," Xu Yixuan muttered as she put on a thick jacket she had prepared ahead of time.

Qiao Sang put her phone back in her pocket, clasped her hands together, and summoned Xiao Xunbao.

Xiao Xunbao came out and happily rubbed her cheek against her Beast Tamer’s face.

This gesture cleared some of the drowsiness from Qiao Sang, and she smiled,

"Take out a thick piece of clothing."

Qiao Sang hadn’t checked in any luggage, as all her belongings were in Xiao Xunbao’s ring.

Once the three of them had put on an extra coat and walked out of the airport, they saw a man with blond hair and fairly handsome features excitedly waving at them.

Qiao Sang’s first thought was that the pick-up service had arrived.

The hotel had been arranged by the school, and it was common practice to choose hotels that offer pick-up services when traveling far.

Sun Boyi went straight to the blond man and asked, "Are you Professor Jiang?"

She knew about the vice principal’s business, as right after the provincial competition ended, the project on how to evolve the Fire-Toothed Dog into the Flame Listening Dog had been approved. She had even visited once, and all the researchers were incredibly busy and could not leave their work.

"Professor, you’re so young," Xu Yixuan said sincerely.

Jiang Xiu laughed, "Ha ha, I’m actually two years older than your vice principal."

Two years older than the vice principal? Qiao Sang was taken aback and her thoughts wandered.

She remembered the vice principal was the same age as the principal... the principal is 48 years old, so that means this professor is... what the heck? 50 years old?!
