“Grandma!” Though she hadn’t been away from home for long, it felt as if she hadn’t returned for ages.

“Why have you come back?” Guan Rufang hastily dumped the water from the basin, threw it on the ground, and went to pull Nan Fei’s hand, inspecting her from left to right. “You’ve lost weight, surely you haven’t been eating well. Have you been suffering?”

“Not at all! Everything’s been very good in Imperial City.”

“Shouldn’t school be starting now? Just yesterday, I heard your father mention that school had started. Why did you suddenly come back?” After asking, Guan Rufang seemed to realize something, and her expression shifted slightly. “Is it because of Yuan Xueshan coming back?”
