Back To The 90s: The Resilient Daughter-In-Law -
Chapter 631 - Chapter 631 Chapter 631 Criminal Psychology_1
Chapter 631: Chapter 631: Criminal Psychology_1 Chapter 631: Chapter 631: Criminal Psychology_1 The hardships they once endured are a reflection of the future day-to-day lives of these division commanders.
At this point, the Second Army Commander Xi Liqun, who just walked in from outside, had a lot to say. When Huo Beijiang was just graduating, he had gone with several old comrades to choose their soldiers, but they couldn’t beat the cunning bastards from the Southeast Military Region.
This was the time that taught him what it truly meant to be shameless.
When he returned, Xi Liqun reflected deeply and realized that subtlety wouldn’t get him anywhere. Their Northern Military District was full of rough men; why should they be subtle? The crafty villains of the Southeast Military Region were simply taking advantage of their lack of argumentative skill and verbal dexterity.
So in recent years, he has recruited quite a few excellent military strategists. In the future, if they encounter a situation, they’ll send in their strongest.
Far off, Xi Liqun could already hear the lively discussion in the conference room. He glanced meaningfully at the young man next to him and kicked open the door to the meeting room.
The door opened with a bang, and the room instantly fell silent, all inside wearing serious expressions, as if it was just a ghost that they heard outside. They quickly adopted a new facial expression–near godlike in its speed.
“Hello, Commander!”
Everyone stood up and saluted!
Xi Liqun, in a good mood, pretended not to know what they were talking about and smiled as he entered, saying, “Come! Let me introduce you all. This is the newly transferred 36th Division commander from the Southeast Military District, Huo Beijiang!”
Dressed crisply in uniform and looking stern, Huo Beijiang no longer seemed as energetic as before. With a serious expression, he saluted each of them in turn, with his movements up to standard.
The sight took Ye Ran by surprise. If not for his identical appearance, he would have thought he had recognized the wrong person! Was the person before him really Huo Beijiang? What a drastic change over a few years!
Other young officers also looked at one another, the same surprise mirrored in their eyes.

The next day, Nan Fei and her younger siblings were asked to go to the police station to make a statement. She was separated from Zhuanzhuan during the process, and Jiang Yang, who suffered from autism, went with Nan Fei. After giving their statements, Nan Fei could not help but ask Zhuanzhuan, “How did it go? They didn’t give you a hard time, did they?”
“No!” Zhuanzhuan shook his head obediently, “They were all nice. They just asked me about my actions that day, about the different places I had been in the villa, and which people I spoke to and what I saw.”
“What did you say?”
“I was asked so many questions, I can’t remember everything clearly,” Zhuanzhuan replied, a bit embarrassed. “They interviewed me for over an hour. I’ve been left in a bit of a muddle with all the repetition.”
“It’s okay,” Nan Fei reassured him. “I went through the same!”
“Sis, did you see He Jinlan last night?”
“Yes, I did! She sneaked off during the commotion in the main hall! But I’m not sure what happened after that,” Nan Fei answered, her eyebrows knitted slightly.
“Sis, is something bothering you?” Zhuanzhuan asked cautiously. “Are you worried about He Jinlan? Do you still consider her a good friend?”
“No,” Nan Fei shook her head. “She hasn’t been my friend for a long time.”
Relieved, Zhuanzhuan patted his chest and said, “That’s good! I can stop worrying now!”
“Why would you say that?” Nan Fei asked, puzzled. Her eyes downcast, the dark bottom of her gaze obscured by her dense, curling eyelashes.
“I… I just feel that He Jinlan is not a good person. She brought people to harass us at our own home last time. She’s a trash who doesn’t deserve to live in this world,” Zhuanzhuan muttered.
“You’re right!”

Just as Zhuanzhuan left the interrogation room, Ying Jiuming was the first to enter.
“So, any problems?” He asked with grave anticipation, looking at two men and one woman in front of him.
One of them is an experienced veteran detective, the other two are well-known professors from the police academy, specializing in criminal psychology.
