Chapter 1006 - Chapter 1006 Chapter 1005 Looking for Someone
Chapter 1006: Chapter 1005: Looking for Someone Chapter 1006: Chapter 1005: Looking for Someone And yet, when she had ranked first back then, she did so modestly. All her classmates had felt that it was only to be expected, nothing to be surprised about.
But now things were different.
Her sister had scored top rank, and as her younger sister, she naturally couldn’t disgrace her.
Zhuanzhuan lowered her gaze, gripping her pen tightly, then slowly released her grip, repeating the action several times to suppress the restlessness and greed inside.
She touched her lips, a smile curling the corners of her mouth that sent shivers down one’s spine.
What to do… I really can’t control it!
Her female deskmate covered her mouth in shock, exclaiming, “Your sister is that amazing?”
Zhuanzhuan nodded, “My sister is far more outstanding than you can imagine.”
No sooner had she spoken these words than the homeroom teacher, standing at the podium, began to prattle on.
“Everyone, you should all learn from Student Jiang Zhuanzhuan, and if you come across something you don’t understand, you should seek her advice,” the teacher spoke more cheerfully as they went on, considering that virtually everyone in the Imperial City’s educational community was an acquaintance.
The teacher had only found out this morning in the office that Jiang Zhuanzhuan’s sister was the very same person who had turned down offers from the top universities to enroll in a military academy. Speaking of which, they happily shared the news with the class.
“It’s worth mentioning that Student Jiang Zhuanzhuan not only excels on her own, but her sister is equally outstanding. You must all know about this year’s top provincial scorer from N Province who refused the top universities for a military academy, right?”
“We know, of course!”
“It’s a girl; even my cousin at Qinghua mentioned it. I heard the admissions officers were quite upset about it!”
Students all craned their necks, waiting for the teacher’s confirmation.
The teacher said proudly, “I have just learned that said top provincial scorer is indeed Jiang Zhuanzhuan’s older sister.” With both children scoring so highly, the odds of such academic excellence in one household were incredibly low.
Surprised exclamations echoed throughout the classroom, with only Leng Tianqi and Pan Yichen wearing the most sullen expressions.

Mentioned by the homeroom teacher, Jiang Nanfei was currently in the school’s security room. Since it was still time for morning self-study, she didn’t want to disturb the students in class, so after registering as a visitor, she patiently waited.
Only when the bell signaling the end of class rang did she take her bag and, asking various students along the way, find her way to Zhuanzhuan’s senior class.
Walking there, male students filled the hallways, stealing glances at Nanfei as she passed, then blushing and bowing their heads in shyness. It was only after she had passed that the hubbub in the corridors resumed.
In truth, Nanfei was aware of the stares. She was only a year or two older than everyone, but due to her rebirth and marriage, she mentally considered the high school seniors as children.
So, she didn’t take it to heart.
“Excuse me, could you please call out Jiang Zhuanzhuan for me?” Nanfei approached the classroom door and asked a student who was just about to leave.
The student’s eyes widened as they looked at her with a complex gaze, “Are you really Jiang Zhuanzhuan’s older sister?”
“Yes, I am Jiang Nanfei, Zhuanzhuan’s sister.” Nanfei replied politely, her mind wondering why the people around her looked at her so strangely.
What’s this ‘really Jiang Zhuanzhuan’s older sister’?
Could they know her?
That’s not possible! It was her first visit.
Hearing Nanfei confirm her identity, the student burst with excitement and ran back into the classroom. Nanfei stood at the door, watching Zhuanzhuan, who had been resting her head on the desk, get tapped and look up.
Seeing it was Nanfei, a flicker of surprise crossed Zhuanzhuan’s eyes, and she quickly walked out to meet her.
