Chapter 1003 - Chapter 1003 Chapter 1002 Bullying
Chapter 1003: Chapter 1002: Bullying Chapter 1003: Chapter 1002: Bullying If it weren’t for Wei Qin’s help back then, Zhuanzhuan would never have had the chance to study at Qi Zhong School.
Having been in school for a whole month, Zhuanzhuan remained quite unnoticed in class, as quiet as if she didn’t exist. Apart from Leng Tianqi sitting in front of her, who looked down on her and liked to stir up trouble, Zhuanzhuan had a fairly smooth experience in the class.
She always had the ability to quietly fade into the crowd, and she could also, at any moment, assert her presence with the fiercest attitude.
“Ha! We’re about to announce the exam results,” Leng Tianqi turned around, tilting her head and looking at Zhuanzhuan through her nostrils. “Let’s see how you still have the face to stay in our class.”
Zhuanzhuan, who was looking at her book, completely ignored Leng Tianqi’s words.
Leng Tianqi, not just in the class but in the whole school, was the most admired one. From a young age, she had known what she wanted and how to capitalize on her greatest strengths. This made her wholly different from her peers, and it made her even more dazzling.
Yet years of superiority were terribly shaken when Leng Ran returned. The recent transfer student in her class, pitiful as she was, also drew her disgust.
When she looked at Jiang Zhuanzhuan, she thought of Leng Ran.
Although their characters, appearances, and family backgrounds were different, this did not prevent her from having a deep disgust for Jiang Zhuanzhuan.
Leng Tianqi was not a mindless person; she actually preferred not to bother with people as insignificant as ants. However, for some reason, ever since Jiang Zhuanzhuan had taken the seat behind her, she often had an eerie intuition running down her spine.
She had looked for a long time but could not find the reason. Finally, it could only be confirmed that this feeling started after Jiang Zhuanzhuan transferred to her school. Hence, her dislike for Jiang Zhuanzhuan intensified, and she even lowered her dignity to find fault with her constantly.
“Hey, you poor ghost, I’m talking to you!” Leng Tianqi’s lips curved into a cold smirk as she grabbed the book in front of Zhuanzhuan and threw it down at her feet, even stomping on it fiercely.
The male students beside her were puzzled by Leng Tianqi’s sudden action, and looking at the expressionless Jiang Zhuanzhuan, one advised, “Leng Tianqi, what are you freaking out for?”
“What? Pan Yichen, you want to defend her?”
The student named Pan Yichen wasn’t angry and responded deliberately, “I just think it’s not worth it. Arguing with someone you can trample underfoot–isn’t that just making it hard on yourself?”
As he spoke, his eyes shone with haughty confidence.
In their class of forty students, they were either top in academic performance or from deeply connected families. But Jiang Zhuanzhuan, having been at the school for a month, never answered during class and sometimes didn’t even do the homework assigned by the teacher.
Her family background was even less noteworthy; they had found out early on. She was just a bumpkin from a poor rural county.
Such people’s whole lives were just so, in their eyes, they were nothing more than ants. They had been born on the shoulders of giants, already winners at the starting line. Why bother with such trivial matters!
It was simply meaningless.
Leng Tianqi saw Pan Yichen’s disapproval in his eyes and managed to suppress her anger. She knew all this, it was just too irritating.
She was outshone by Leng Ran at home, and at school, she had to let a mud-legged person get on her nerves.
With her book gone, Zhuanzhuan finally looked up. Her dark, emotionless eyes met those of the others like black glass beads, unsettling those who looked into them.
