"What conscience? It’s clear that he can’t bear the guilt himself!" Zhu Lifen said indignantly.

Cheng Su glanced at her and said, "Alright. That he confessed counts as him trying to make amends. The most important thing now is to find out who’s pulling the strings behind the scenes."

"Are you saying that someone else is directing those people? They’re not just thugs?" Wang Bo asked.

Cheng Su replied, "What do you think? Street thugs, making their own jam to target our company? It’s definitely a competitor. We just don’t know which one yet!"

"Why don’t we ask Chen Zhiquan? Didn’t he promise to help us find out?" Zhu Lifen asked anxiously, hoping to redeem herself as well.

"I wonder if he has any news," Cheng Su murmured as she pursed her lips.

"What’s this about having news or not?" A bright voice sounded at the door, and everyone turned in surprise.
