Chapter 119 - 119: People Care But You Don't, Humph!

The bustling in the cloth shop had come to a halt and the atmosphere seemed ambiguous.

Ning Wei's eyes were closed but one could tell that she didn't want to see what would happen next since tears were falling from the corner of her eyes.

Meanwhile, Ye Qian felt warm seeing Ning Wei's care for him.

'She is really different.'

He thought and then with a swift motion raised his hand and placed it a few millimetres away from his face.

"CLAP."

A loud clap was heard and Le Yun's hysterical laughter continued after that.

"Haha."

"Yes, this is what you get for trying to have something that I desire d for long."

Le Yun was looking at the people around to see their reactions but he saw that most of them were sighing and looked at him like a clown.

He turned around to see what was so funny to make the people look at him in such a manner.

He had heard a loud clap and knew that his palm had definitely hit the man's face.

That was why he didn't bother looking around.

As he turned around, he saw that even though his hand had hit the man, it was not his face but his palm.

"You."

Le Yun glared and used his other hand to punch the man on the neck.

"You shouldn't do this; it might be dangerous."

When Le Yun was about to hit the man, Ye Qian turned around and said with a calm tone.

But it felt like a thundering roar to Le Yun.

His punch was just a few inched away from Ye Qian's neck when it was stopped by Ye Qian's second hand.

He seemed to have caught his hand and wouldn't allow it free.

Le Yun saw that his hand was tightly gripped by the guy in front of him and tried to pull it with force.

"You, let go of my hand you b@stard."

Le Yun cursed while roaring.

"Ok."

"THUD."

Ye Qian let go of his hand and he just fell to the floor with a loud thud.

Le Yun hit the counter behind him while falling.

Jun and the other guy beside him glanced at one another.

'This man is finished.'

Meanwhile, Wang Feng was grinning from ear to ear watching the situation being unfolded in this way.

He had thought that Le Yun might forget about Ye Qian and he might not be able to get his revenge, but after seeing that Ye Qian fighting back, Wang Feng knew that Ye Qian would not be able to have a simple life later on.

He was more than happy.

'Hehe, you dare to ignore me, Yu Lan, now let me teach this Big Brother Ye of yours a nice lesson.'

He giggled and thought about how miserable Ye Qian's life would be later on.

"Nice, you dare to do this to me, you better find a grave for yourself."

Instead of being angry, Le Yun laughed loudly.

He glanced at Yuan Meng and Ning Wei and then turned around to his friends and yelled.

"What are you waiting for, help me up."

"Ahh, yes."

The two were dumbfounded and woke up after Le Yun called them.

After a while, they left while Ye Qian saw Wang Feng joining them after they went out and turned to him with a grin.

Ye Qian wanted to ask him what was wrong with his head when he heard Little Qiqi calling.

"Papa, you did nice, that guy was bad."

Little Jia also nodded while giving a thumbs up to Ye Qian.

Ye Qian smiled wryly.

His daughters really didn't fear some blood and fighting.

He didn't know if he should laugh or cry.

But, it made him feel a bit less worried.

If he were to bring them to the cultivation world later, they might not be afraid, since that world was filled with more gruesome people than on earth and if one was not able to see blood and gore then his or her end was not much far.

As even those who didn't like to fight and mostly avoided, they would still be forced to kill if they wanted to live.

But of course, he would not allow anything to happen to them but what if they never learned?

So he was now less worried about this thing.

He smiled at them and nodded.

"Hey, now open your eyes."

Ye Qian went near the two ladies and said to Ning Wei.

"Umm hmm."

Ning Wei shook her head not ready to see the gruesome scene that she had thought of in her mind fearing that it might come true.

"Haha."

"You really think that I won't be able to handle a boy?"

"Don't you believe me?"

Ye Qian's question made her shiver.

She bit her lips and opened her eyes just a little.

If she saw his injured, then she might not open them at all.

"Hehe, Sister Wei, you really are too good."

Yuan Meng chuckled while seeing Ning Wei's behaviour.

Ning Wei opened her eyes and saw everything was normal besides the people were looking at them in awe, while the manager seemed frightened.

As her eyes stopped on Ye Qian, Ning Wei saw him smiling at her while his clothes were fine and there was nothing wrong with him.

She brought her hand and checked him properly.

Her eyes were still tearing while she closely inspected him.

Ye Qian shook his head and sighed.

"Don't worry, I am not injured, and I won't hide it from you if I was."

Ye Qian said seeing her look so worried.

"Now, stop those tears off your eyes, you look just like Jia when she is crying."

He said while wiping the tears off her swelling eyes.

Ye Qian wanted to make her laugh so he made a simple joke, but he didn't know that his joke seemed to have the opposite effect on her.

Ning Wei pouted and glared at him.

"Humph."

"Sister Meng, people care about this man but he seems to make a joke of them."
