Chapter 59: His yearning
Chapter 59: His yearning
Chapter 59
The night was too quiet, too silent. After he had carefully walked Katherine to her room door, lingering a little, watching her close the door behind her.
Aaron blinked, his feet shuffling at the door before he walked to his room with a deep breath. He couldn’t wait for the day both of them would finally be together.
Back in his room, his room was silent. Aaron lay sprawled on his bed, one arm behind his head while the other was on his stomach. His eyes were fixed on the ceiling like it held the solution to the knot in his chest.
Katherine’s room was just a few feet away from his, and he could feel his body buzz at the thought. His beautiful Katherine.
He blinked, the reflection of the full moon coming through the window, lighting the room. But everything just reminded him of her.
Katherine.
How she had shyly turned away from him earlier in the kitchen and how— Aaron jumped out of bed, tugged the lamp beside his bed, and pulled the book on the table to continue reading the novel.
He put on his glasses and resumed to the page he’d stopped at, but none of it was registering in his head. He was seeing the words figuratively, but none of it was comprehending. All he could see on the page was Katherine’s name, but Katherine wasn’t in the book he’d been reading.
God in mercy! He removed his glasses, his eyes squinted as he rubbed his face tiredly.
Katherine was just a few steps away from his room.
The thought again made his heart skip as he cursed and slammed the book closed.
This wasn’t working! He stood and walked down to the kitchen to get some water but stopped when he saw the used cup Katherine drank from earlier at the balcony. He swallowed hard.
No! Aaron breathed in deeply, grabbing the mug as he remembered how her lips were on it. Her soft, plump lips that were inviting.
He picked up the mug from the sink, didn’t rinse it, and poured water into it. He stared at the circumference of the mug as he tried to remember exactly where Katherine’s lips were placed earlier.
Aaron wetted his lower lips and placed his mouth on the mug, his tongue licking the circumference, not caring anymore. He could still taste the tea Katherine drank earlier with the water he was drinking.
He inhaled loudly, the aroma pulling him closer, and he groaned as his body hummed.
Katherine was just a few feet away from his room.
He reminded himself again, dropping the mug to stop his creepy act and walking back to his room as his ears buzzed.
Maybe he was going crazy, but everything now reminded him of Katherine. He could hear her soft laughter ringing in his ears like his favorite song, and he grunted.
Aaron sat on his bed, and the edge dipped low due to his weight as he pulled off his shirt and flung it to the side of the bed. He ran a hand through his hair.
He shook his head to keep a clear head and laid back down on his bed, closing his eyes to sleep. He kept his eyes closed tightly, his ears picking up the sound of the wall clock and the soft rumbling from the air conditioner, luring him to sleep.
As his breathing began to slow — she was there.
Katherine.
Her scent was in the air, engulfing him like a flame as he imagined it — that faint hint of cinnamon and something warm and familiar — like her favorite date coffee.
Katherine smiled, her laughter, look slipping into his head, his brain —traitorous and starving, made it more impossible for him to push those thoughts away.
He finally drifted off to sleep — did he? And in his dream, behind his closed eyes, in his chaotic mind, his foggy head, she was there.
The scene changed to Katherine being in her apartment kitchen, her wavy hair loose down her back, which was different from her normal ponytail. She was wearing one of his shirts, his favorite blue shirt, which was oversized on her frame. It nearly swallowed her. The hem was dangerously levitating above her ass cheeks, revealing her smooth thigh. Her cheeks were dotted with blush.
"Katherine," he breathed out, his feet stopping at the kitchen doorway, his breathing hitched like nothing else mattered.
Katherine, hearing her name, turned, her emerald eyes soft, filled with that gaze — that hooded lust look that he was familiar with.
Aaron’s body vibrated as he curled his hand into a fist beside his side.
"I’ve missed you," Katherine whispered, her voice soft, making his body rumble.
She walked toward him slowly, her hips swaying seductively, then stopped in front of him before wrapping her arms around his neck. He sucked in a breath.
The world faded, and the scene changed to his new room. Katherine smiled against his lips, her fingertips brushing and tracing his jaw sensually.
The kiss started slow and gentle with warmth, and then it deepened as he plunged his tongue into her warm mouth. Her hands slid under the hem of his shirt — her shirt — and her mouth moved hungrily against his, meeting his hungry pace. If it were possible to devour her, he would.
Aaron pulled her closer, suddenly hurling her on the bed as her legs instinctively snaked around his waist.
Her body perfectly molded to his like it belonged there as she squirmed her hips, dry-humping him, and he groaned from the action.
He buried his mouth on her collarbone, kissed down her neck as his breath hitched and his hands gripped her hips in place. To stop her from moving against his hard-on, yet, or else, he would cum.
Katherine’s head fell back, her hand at the back of his neck. "Don’t stop me," she whispered, voice trembling.
"I won’t," he said, and Katherine resumed moving her hips on him as he groaned, his dick swelling in his trousers. Aaron matched her pace, helping her ride him better as her fingers dug into his skin, and he grunted.
He buried his head between the valley of her breasts. Two buttons of the shirt had been opened, and he groaned at the softness against his face. Her breasts smelled heavenly.
Just as he was about to reach the height — the climax from Katherine riding — just as the heat rose to its unbearable peak — he jolted awake.
Aaron’s body shuddered as his stomach knotted, panting heavily. His eyes widened in shock, and his throat was dry.
The sheet clung to his skin, damp with sweat, as he groaned, feeling his boxer uncomfortable from the precum. His boner was still raging from the dream.
"Shit!" he cursed under his breath, dragging his hands through his hair. He yanked the sheet away from his body and glanced at his lower body to see his cock already peeking out of the band.
The dream clung to him like a second skin, every sensation still burned — her intoxicating taste, her sultry voice, and her addictive touch. He looked around the dark room with his chest heaving like he’d just run a marathon.
Aaron stood up wobbly, stumbled a little, and walked to the bathroom. He caught his physique in his peripheral sight and saw his face was red, his Adam’s apple bobbing, his nose flaring.
He looked away and turned on the tap, splashing cold water onto his face. Again. And again. And again. He looked up at the mirror fully now, water dripping down his jaw, to his v-neck, torso. His reflection stared back — haunted, aroused, disoriented.
"She’s still under my skin..." he whispered raggedly.
His fingers gripped the edges of the sink tightly, knuckles white as his body was still burning. A physical ache that refused to die down. No cold water, no deep breaths could erase what had just happened.
He hadn’t dreamt of her like that in years. Haven’t had a wet dream or touched himself in years. But now she was here again, not just in his dreams, but real, living, breathing, and still so close... yet so far. He didn’t know what was worse now — having her in his dreams or watching her walk in and out of his days with her careful smiles and guarded glances.
Aaron removed his stained boxer and turned the shower to the coldest as he gripped his side. After that, Aaron dragged himself back to the bed and sat on the edge.
The sweat-drenched sheets still on the bed were like a taunt to him, reminding him of the wet dream he had. He ran a hand down his face, his heart slamming against his ribcage.
"I can’t go on like this," he said aloud to the silence. "I can’t keep wanting her like this and doing nothing."
Katherine was just a foot away from him, yet he didn’t dare to go there or think about it.
Aaron removed the sheet and threw it in one corner of the room. He laid back on the empty bed, hoping sleep would take him again, even though he knew it wouldn’t. Not after that. Not when the dream still burned deep in him.
And not when Katherine was just some steps away from him.
