——Egypt, In before the Sphinx.

With their jaws and elbows resting on the wall of what was the alley by the tourist place of Egypt—Sphinx and Giga's pyramid to be precise—a certain someone was silently waiting for something.

Dressed in a weird combo of matching brown autumn theme clothes and Kufiya—a native dress to protect from sand—the person was a japanese, with their silver mesh hair peeking through the kufiya.

"Hey, Chinese! It's time to pack up this place for the day! Heck, how long are you going to keep this up, eh? A tourist will not cut out ya know!"

Raising a disappointing 'already?' murmur, he replied to the egyptian guard hearing his call from behind. Even the guard reflexively lost his steam at his casual response.

As the guard said while giving a hard slap on his butt, the man just grinned and got ready to leave. The two exchanged a friendly banter while making their out, walking down on the tourist route.

Just as they had crossed the fence to stop intrusion—

The man saw two small shadows of people from the direction of Sphinx. The man, excitedly, stopped on his track and almost leaned out of the fence to take a good look at their action. He squinted his eyes and stared into the distance to judge if the owner of those shadows were the reason why he was there.

"Hey, Chinese!"

"Hold on a second, Hasan."

The man's voice was surprisingly—to an astonishingly degree, serious. A complete contrast from his usual silly smile.

The guard seemed surprised at the sudden change of attitude, but decided to wait for a whole, thinking 'a minute wouldn't hurt.' He also stood next to that man and quietly stared at the silhouettes.

And with a passing of a couple few minutes the two shadows finally made themselves clear.

A grin appeared on the Japanese man's face as soon as he took account of it, and just like that, shouted toward him.

"Hey, Jay! Miras! You sure know to make people wait huh~"

The guard's body flinched in surprise as if he had seen zombies hearing the name.

Hurriedly, he also leaned out of the fence—almost to the verge or falling—like the japanese man and intense-eyes stared at the approaching pair of uneven shadows. Hasan's jaw literally dropped when he saw their face.

"You, Japanese. ......Don't tell me you're waiting for them all this while? Are you acquainted!? Oh, no, I need to get s-sign first! They're my heroes! I picked this security job just in hope to meet them one day you know!!"

"Kind of. And I got it covered, the sign. Hey! Jay! Miras!"

Apparently his voice was finally audible to them at the range as the shorter shadow shook their hand. Seeing that, the japanese man also waved back excitedly.

Still marvelling if he knew them, Guard reflexively asked that japanese man.

"You, who in the world are you? Someone who's an acquaintance of Egypt's hero...what did you say your name again?"

In response to that question, the Japanese man slowly removed his coif. The setting sun just worked as the background scenery, illuminating his silver-hair. He replied with a jovial, warm smile.

"Shu Kaidou. Partner to a certain zero-grade explorer."
