Both nurses were barely breathing.

Upon closer inspection, patches of skin were peeled away from their faces, their eye sockets hollow, tongues severed, ears missing, and more.

The suffering they endured was so intense that death was like a peaceful escape.

But Neo made sure to drag out their torment for as long as possible.

"Now, time to end this." He grabbed the TGX pill and swallowed it down in one gulp.

His heart raced, pounding harder and faster, as his veins bulged beneath his skin.

"Yeah, this thing’s the real deal." He could feel the surge of power, like he could lift 500+ kg without breaking a sweat.

Grabbing the nurses’ skulls, he crushed them with his bare hands.

Blood, brain matter, and shattered fragments of bone sprayed in all directions, the remnants of their skulls collapsing under the force.

It was a satisfying way to end it and exact his revenge.

Struggling to breathe, he ripped open his hazmat suit, desperate for air.

He collapsed onto his back, the cold ground pressing against his skin as his vision flickered in and out of focus.

’Stay with it,’ he whispered to himself, though his voice barely escaped his lips. ’Stay... conscious...’

The black blood continued to seep from his mouth, staining the ground beneath him as he coughed violently, each spasm sending fresh waves of nausea through him.

’I can’t hold it anymore,’ he whispered hoarsely before finally succumbing to the darkness.

Seconds passed, and he remained motionless, completely unaware of his surroundings.

But then something moved. The black liquid started bubbling, its texture changing from thin to thick and sticky, like grease.

The hazmat suit he wore began to dissolve as the black substance ate through it like acid.

But it didn’t stop there. It continued to grow, twisting and slithering like a living organism.

Sticky tendrils shot out, wrapping around the bodies of the corpses, absorbing, pulling their remains into the dark pool that formed.

When it had consumed everything in the room, it slithered away.

It moved silently, like a shadow, creeping down the hallway in search of more to devour.

The tendrils reached out, writhing and twisting, seeking any dead matter it could find.

"Fuck, my head hurts," Neo groaned, slowly opening his eyes.

His vision was still blurry, and it took him a full ten seconds to gather enough strength to sit up.

As the fog in his mind began to clear, he felt cold.

’Why the hell am I naked?’ he raised his hand and glance down.

His private parts grew by another two inches, but that wasn’t all that changed.

A well-built body greeted him, with eight solid packs visible on his abs. His arms, hands, and legs looked like those of a perfectly sculpted athlete. In fact, this body was even more impressive than what he had before.

"Wait, how?" he added, his mind racing. He lost a lot of muscle and weight after all those experiments, so this sudden change left him in complete shock.
