Avery's Game Of Revenge -
Chapter 172: Punishment
Chapter 172: Punishment
Archie raised a brow at the question, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You know what it is, Wife. You aren’t that innocent."
Avery’s eyes widened as she instinctively took a step back. Of course, she knew what it was. But a sex toy? When she was supposed to be on her way to an important ball party?
"Archie, please. I mean, this looks fun, but not tonight. Not while we’re at the party." Her voice wavered with both amusement and alarm. She knew vibrating panties when she saw them, and the realization sent a shiver through her. He was going to drive her insane all night long.
What had she done? If only she could go back and warn herself several minutes ago. But, alas, she could not.
Archie’s gaze narrowed, his mouth curling in satisfaction as he dropped the box onto the bed, the panties still in his grasp. "If it was supposed to be at your convenience, you think it would be called a punishment? You lied, Ava, and you have to suffer through the consequences whether you like it or not."
"That’s not exactly what I was thinking," Avery tried to argue, but was cut off immediately.
"Lift up the dress, Ava." His voice was rough and commanding, sending heat rushing through her.
When she hesitated, he grasped her jaw, forcing her gaze to his. "Now, Mrs. Donovan. Before I help you with it."
Avery’s breath stuttered at the demand in his voice, and she found herself gathering the silk of her gown, lifting it as he had ordered.
"Sorry," she whimpered.
Archie ignored the apology, his eyes darkened as he took in the sight before him, his concentration so intense she felt even more exposed beneath his scrutiny.
"No panties, huh?" His voice was thick with approval before he dropped to his knees, his hands seizing her ass, his nose pressing against her core.
"Archie!" she cried, her fingers tangling in his hair as she struggled to stay upright. She wanted to tell him the reason she wasn’t wearing was because the linings of a normal thong would spoil the way the dress was supposed to look on her, but she failed woefully.
The warmth of his breath against her, the teasing flick of his tongue—it was all too much. But Archie ignored her reaction and ran a fingertip through her slick heat, his hungry gaze locked on hers.
"I’m gonna enjoy torturing the shit out of you tonight," he murmured with a salacious smirk, and she almost came just from the sight of him alone.
Slipping the panties up her thighs, he secured them around her hips before rising to his full height. He reached for the box again, retrieving the small toy.
"They say this is the best one on the market," he mused, rolling it across her already pebbled nipple, the thin material of her dress doing little to dull the sensation. "Can’t wait to get your feedback."
Avery’s breath hitched as he slid a hand into the panties, finding the designated slot for the toy and fitting it snugly into place.
"Perfect."
Fixing her dress, Archie stepped back to admire his work, his eyes raking over her with unmistakable satisfaction.
"How does that feel?" he asked, his jaw clenching when she let out a low moan, the toy pressing firmly against her clit. He watched her hands trembled as the mix of nerves and excitement pulsed through her, almost laughing when she finally breathed, "Fine."
"Fine, huh?" A wicked grin stretched across his lips as he picked up the small remote from the box. With the press of a button...
"Oh my gosh! Fuck!" Avery gasped, nearly tripping in her heels as intense vibrations tore through her.
Archie’s gaze burned into hers. "Promise to be my good girl tonight?"
"I promise no such thing," she shot back, defiant despite her trembling legs. "It’s impossible. I can’t..."
His grin widened. "Well, then, I’ll have to see if I can fix that."
Another vibration pulsed between her thighs, slow, then fast, sending her reeling. And then, as quickly as it started, it stopped, leaving her breathless and on edge.
He clasped his palm around her nape, his lips grazing hers in a teasing stroke. "This is just as hard for me as it is for you. You have no idea how much."
Avery’s heart pounded, her nails digging into his biceps. "Doubtful."
Chuckling darkly, Archie tugged her toward the door, amusement twinkling in his eyes.
It was going to be a night to remember.

The limousine rolled to a smooth stop in the underground garage of the hotel, the soft hum of the engine cutting off as Avery prepared herself.
She reached up, adjusting the silver mask over her face, making sure it was snug. The delicate filigree design shimmered under the dim garage lighting, a perfect match to her flowing silk gown. It clung to her curves before cascading down in elegant waves, whispering against the concrete floor with every movement.
Avery glanced around, ensuring no one else was present besides her guards. The ones Archie had personally assigned to watch her.
They exited the limousine in practiced silence, surrounding her as they led her towards the elevator. The doors slid open with a quiet chime, and she stepped inside, her gown trailing behind her like liquid silver. As the doors began to close, she caught a glimpse of Archie in the distance, stepping out of the car and heading towards the hotel’s main entrance.
Her heart rate spiked in excitement, but she quickly regained her composure. She had other matters to focus on first.
She had people waiting for her.
The elevator opened with a soft ding, revealing a luxurious hallway that led into a well-lit lobby. And there, seated on a plush sofa, were Alice and Jodi, both looking effortlessly glamorous.
Alice wore an emerald-green gown, fitted at the waist before flaring into delicate, layered tulle that swayed with every shift of her legs. Her dark hair was pulled into a loose updo, and in her hand, she held a matching green mask adorned with tiny crystals.
Jodi, on the other hand, was a vision in black. Her dress was sleek and figure-hugging, with a thigh-high slit that revealed glimpses of her toned leg whenever she moved. Blonde waves cascaded over her bare shoulders, and her mask, jet-black with silver accents, dangled carelessly from her fingers.
She spotted Avery first, a playful smirk forming as she winked. "About time, Ava."
