Chapter 454: The True Tyrant Body
Chapter 454: Chapter 454: The True Tyrant Body
"Are you shocked?" Shi Hao asked Su Manman when they were alone.
"Shocked about what?" Su Manman looked puzzled while still cracking sunflower seeds.
Er... so many Tyrant Bodies, don’t tell me you haven’t noticed.
"Oh, Tyrant Bodies!" Su Manman suddenly realized, "Yeah, there’s a bit too many, it’s abnormal."
Just a bit abnormal?
Shi Hao looked at the Little Witch. She was usually so astute, why did she seem a bit slow now?
You know, no matter what force came here, seeing so many Tyrant Bodies would send shivers down their spine.
Tyrant Body, one of the most powerful physiques in the world, to have one and cultivate it means one could almost sweep through the times later on, let alone an entire village.
Otherwise, Liu Mang wouldn’t have been taken away by some powerful person.
You’re not shocked at all?
"Do you have a fever?" Shi Hao touched Su Manman’s forehead. Huh, it was quite normal.
"You’re the horny one!" Su Manman huffed, "Didn’t you hear them say? They can only move within a certain range of the village, they can’t go beyond that, or disaster will strike."
Shi Hao’s expression turned ugly, "Is it the doing of some hidden manipulator again?"
"Most likely, otherwise the Tyrant Body bloodline wouldn’t be so easy to proliferate—although these Tyrant Bodies are not exactly pure." Su Manman paused, then finally showed a look of shock, "That person... he couldn’t be trying to use these imperfect Tyrant Bodies to cultivate a true one?!"
"They’re not true Tyrant Bodies?" Shi Hao was startled.
Su Manman glanced at him, shaking her head, "How could they be! If they were true Tyrant Bodies, there would be anomalies. Wherever they stood, their blood energy would boil, and few of their peers in the Martial Artist realm would be able to withstand it. It’s incredibly dominant!"
Is this the real reason why it’s called the Tyrant Body?
Shi Hao thought about it. That fatso probably wasn’t a true Tyrant Body either, just possessed some of its bloodline. Even so, his progression in strength was astonishingly fast. It was unimaginable how terrifying a true Tyrant Body would be.
"Indeed you are incredibly gifted, but if you faced a true Tyrant Body of the same realm—you’d at best fight to a draw, even more likely to be defeated," Su Manman spoke seriously.
Shi Hao was surprised. He himself had broken through the limits of three major realms, yet he could only stand on equal footing with a true Tyrant Body, or even be less than equal?
But looking at Su Manman’s expression, she was clearly not trying to belittle him.
Shi Hao was confident but not blind. He slowly nodded.
Tyrant Body is a gift from the heavens, not something to be envied or jealous of.
What he needed to do was to continue to hone his combat power and become even stronger.
I just need to become the strongest. Then whether it’s the Tyrant Body or Sword Body, I’ll sweep them all aside.
His eyes immediately shone brightly, exuding a strong fighting spirit.
Never discouraged, that was one of Shi Hao’s greatest strengths.
Su Manman couldn’t help but nod inwardly, feeling contented that she hadn’t taken a liking to the wrong guy.
"So, the person behind the scenes really has quite the ambition, to cultivate someone who can become a true Tyrant Body, to help him conquer the world," Shi Hao mused.
"It’s true that they want to cultivate a true Tyrant Body, but the exact purpose is not necessarily so," Su Manman cryptically said.
"Like what?" Shi Hao asked.
"You should know, a Tyrant Body is strong, but it’s still someone else’s. But what if such a bloodline or physique was merged into oneself?" Su Manman suggested a possibility.
Is that even possible?
"Even bloodlines or physiques can be plundered?" Shi Hao was truly shocked.
"In the vast world, nothing is impossible," Su Manman said, shaking her head. "It’s said that tens of thousands of years ago, there was someone who was originally unremarkable and unnoticed, but later, it was discovered that he could devour other people’s bloodlines, alarming the local authorities."
"What happened afterwards?" Shi Hao asked.
"Afterwards?" Su Manman shook her head. "When various almighty beings prepared to deal with that man, he disappeared without a trace and was never heard from again."
By giving this example, she made it clear that bloodlines and physique could indeed be stripped away.
Shi Hao was indignant, but powerless to intervene.
Because the person behind all this was an existence beyond his reach, most likely an Immortal.
How could a mortal contend with an Immortal?
"Let’s go to that valley and have a look," Shi Hao said, setting aside the matter of the Tyrant Body for now since he couldn’t do anything about it at the moment.
Su Manman nodded nonchalantly; her eyes were only for Shi Hao, and she didn’t care about anything else.
Just as they were about to set off, a villager who was about to begin his coming-of-age ritual in the valley decided to join them.
——In the village, boys reached adulthood at sixteen and had to venture into that valley alone to kill a Ferocious Beast and pick a medicinal herb to prove they were qualified to become men.
Most people managed to do this within the first year, a minority took until the second or even the third year, and a very few could never complete the task and were exiled from the village to fend for themselves and take responsibility for their own lives and deaths.
This was a primitive village that revered strength, but it was neither barbaric nor bloodthirsty.
Shi Hao and Su Manman set off alongside the boy who had just turned sixteen, heading for the valley.
Coincidentally, that boy was the same one Shi Hao and Su Manman had first encountered.
After a brief conversation, Shi Hao learned that the boy’s name was Amadeus.
"Ah" was not a surname; in this village, everyone only had given names and no surnames.
The young Amadeus was highly curious about the outside world and kept asking Shi Hao questions. He hadn’t been eligible to speak up earlier in the village, so now that he had the opportunity, he was eager to satisfy his curiosity.
As they walked, Shi Hao observed Amadeus through his domain.
Although the fat boy was suspected of having the Tyrant Body, Shi Hao had not studied it closely before. He too was curious about just how strong the Tyrant Body was.
Blood qi!
Amadeus’s blood qi was exceptionally strong, appearing like a fiercely burning stove to Shi Hao’s perceptive powers, preventing him from probing deeper—either he would crush the other’s blood qi first or be repelled by it, possibly injuring himself in the process.
With Amadeus’s cultivation and his imperfect Tyrant Body, it was clear he couldn’t harm Shi Hao, but Shi Hao had no intention of dispersing the other’s blood qi either.
The strength of the Tyrant Body lay in its blood qi, so if the blood qi were to dissipate, it would surely result in severe injury.
Therefore, Shi Hao gave up on the idea of further exploration.
However, this gave him an insight into the power of the Tyrant Body.
As they talked, the valley mentioned by the villagers had come into view nearby.
It really wasn’t far.
Amadeus wore a solemn expression but was also somewhat excited.
Indeed, this wasn’t his first time entering the valley, but those earlier occasions were with his father accompanying him. This time, however, he had to venture in alone, without assistance, or else it wouldn’t count as completing the coming-of-age ritual.
