Tang Zelin had already gone up front to keep the situation under control while she crouched down and fiddled with her system watch.

Once she confirmed that she could directly retrieve items from the storage via the system, she pretended to rummage for something in the back.

Occasionally, she lifted one lid after another.

From afar, Tang Zelin kept an eye on the outside situation with the Alien Humanoids, while also glancing over at Su Shu’s position from time to time.

After their previous conversation, he had a rough idea of what she was trying to find.

But he wasn’t confident about discovering anything in this half-office, half-lab room that could counteract their adversaries.

Yet, not long afterward, Su Shu suddenly exclaimed, “Tang Zelin, come quick!”

He felt a twinge at his temple, surprised to think she might have really found something.

When he rushed over and saw over a dozen specialized weapons inside one of the large crates at the bottom, the shock on his face was so distinct that Su Shu would remember it clearly for a long time.

He reached in and pulled out one to inspect in his hands.

The model indeed looked different from their usual weapons, resembling conventional firearms, but the differences were apparent in the details.

They must be special weapons designed to suppress the Alien Humanoids, he thought.

However, weapons without ammunition would be no more than toys.

He asked, “Are there bullets?”

Su Shu casually lifted the lid of the crate beside her, “Yes, they’re all here.”

Tang Zelin glanced over and remarked with a sigh, “I didn’t expect to find them here, it seems fortune hasn’t abandoned us.”

“I feel the same way.”

Subsequently, Tang Zelin gathered all his subordinates, asking each to come and take a weapon; bullets were distributed per person.

Peng San, an elder, also stepped forward and said in a deep voice, “Are there more? Give an old man one.”

Seeing this, Tang Zelin took out some bullets from another crate, “San-ye, please be careful.”

Peng San nodded, took the ammunition, tinkererd with the weapon in his hand, and figured out how to use it.

With that done, aside from the six children, every adult had a weapon in hand, and bullets–to ensure the possibility of a breakout–were not completely taken.

Ensuring they were as well-armed as possible, Tang Zelin stood by the door, observing the situation outside.
