Only outside the hospital did he let go of Shen Han.

“There’s a time and place for everything, this is a hospital!” Tang Zelin frowned, obviously disapproving of Shen Han’s impulsiveness.

Shen Han’s face was still ashen, and he remained silent, but his tightly pursed lips indicated his anger had not yet subsided.

Tang Zelin took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, loosened one, and offered it to Shen Han with a light tone, “Care for one?”

Shen Han looked up at him, said nothing, and took one.

Tang Zelin threw his lighter to Shen Han, who caught it, lit his cigarette, and then nonchalantly tossed it back to Tang, who caught it with ease and sparked his lighter.

A cigarette can sometimes help someone to cool down for a while.

Shen Han’s brow furrowed slightly as he looked up, “Her issue has nothing to do with my and Su Shu’s affair.”

Tang Zelin inferred from his words that Shen Han was implying that him standing up for Bai Qinghuan was unrelated to his and Su Shu’s romantic relationship–it was a separate matter.

Tang Zelin took another puff of his cigarette without agreeing or disagreeing, flicking the ash away, and said indifferently, “If he’s problematic, I should be the one to handle it, you’ve overstepped your bounds.”

Shen Han narrowed his eyes, looked at him for a while, and gave a slight nod, “Sorry.”
