I started to calm my heart. On the other hand, Austin’s heart was in turmoil. At first, he thought it was a water element with a different attribute power.

But he never expected to see such a rare new attribute. He hadn’t heard of the explosion attribute before.

The next second, he recovered from his thoughts and turned toward his disciple.

A hint of relief flashed in his eyes.

“It was indeed a new type of Ancient Inheritance. I haven’t heard or seen the explosion-type power. It’s going to help you greatly in the upcoming missions,” Austin said in a serious tone.

He thought the destruction caused by the explosion was comparable to the purple lightning. So, his disciple had accepted a real Ancient powerful Inheritance.

“Thanks, Master,” I replied with a smile.

It’s a bit sad to hide the truth from him. But I can’t disobey Dean Jerome. He seems to be quite serious about my future.

“You can go and visit Main Elder Ann. I think she must be waiting for you as well,” Austin said.

Then, I thanked the Master before standing up to leave.

Austin watched me leave. When Zack was gone from the place, he sighed in relief.

Meanwhile, I exited the Golden Lightning Palace and started heading towards the Healing Palace. On the way, I came across other members.

They nodded to me. I nodded back with a smile.

Suddenly, one of them appeared. He is a young man a few years older than me.

“Senior brother, I have brought information for you,” he said.

Hearing that, I was stunned and asked, “What is it?”

“The Elder from the Virtual Training Lab wanted me to convey this information to you. The Black Mark Warriors of the Dark Variant Faction were planning to fight against you.”

“Their reason was to check whether your Inheritance was ancient or not,” he added.

A look of understanding dawned on me. To be honest, I was expecting some trouble. That’s why I was so serious about the bloodline practice.

I need this power to disguise myself. Then I thanked the young man before giving him some fire affinity stones.

The young man and his companions were shocked. They looked at me with envy.

“I’m leaving,” I uttered before continuing on my way.

The group was stunned. Then they immediately left the place before anyone saw them.

Healing Palace:

Soon, I arrived at the Healing Palace. The door was already open. The female warriors were taking care of the garden.

As I walked inside, everyone’s gaze turned toward me.

“Senior brother Zack!”

I smiled and said, “How are you all? I came here to see the Master.”

Master Ann’s other disciples showed me the way. Then I went to the back side of the building, where I saw someone reading a book under a tree.

The person was none other than Master Ann.

The next second, I quickly walked up to her.

Ann raised her head and looked at me. Austin had already informed her.

“Sit,” she said.

Hearing that, I smiled and sat in the chair opposite her.

“How is your practice of the ancient healing technique going?” Ann asked.

Hearing that, I wasn’t surprised.

“My veins have some changes, but it’s not complete yet,” I replied.

Ann raised her eyebrows in surprise.

She said, “Do you know one of the reasons why everyone wants to accept Ancient Inheritance?”

I looked at her. Before I could answer, she added, “Ancient Inheritance can improve your aptitude and comprehension.”

“You will learn and practice techniques faster. I’m happy that you have accepted Ancient Inheritance. Now your speed of practicing the ancient healing technique will increase.”

Hearing that, I was dumbfounded. I never took the ancient healing technique seriously because it was an incomplete technique.

But I understood something after the trial: Anything that attaches with the name “Ancient” is not simple.

“So technically, I’m the holder of four ancient practices,” I said in my heart.

“What are you thinking?” Ann asked.

Hearing that, I looked at her and said, “I’m wondering how long it would take to get the special healing power.”

Ann smiled and replied, “Since your talent has improved, you will see the results soon.”

Then Ann thought of something before asking, “Can you show me your inheritance power?”

“What?” I blurted out in shock.

Ann said, “I’m curious about your inheritance power.”

“Did Master Austin speak to you earlier?” I asked.

“Yes,” Ann replied.

“I’m curious to see the power of the rare variant water force,” she added.

Hearing that, I confirmed that Master Austin told her everything.

I said, “I need a target.”

“Okay,” Ann nodded before summoning one of her disciples.

Shortly afterward,

A female warrior arrived in a green uniform.

“Get me the metal puppet,” Ann said.

The female warrior nodded before going back.

Ann said, “Apart from healing, I teach them self-defense techniques, including weapons.”

I nodded to her. Technically, the young female warrior is my junior sister, but I hardly had any interaction with Master Ann’s other disciples.

Then it didn’t take long for the female warrior to bring the humanoid metal puppet. It had many cut marks on it.

It’s a sign of their weapon practice.

“Place it under the tree,” Ann said as she stood up from the chair.

Seeing that, I stood up as well. There was a huge tree a few metres away from here. The female warrior placed the puppet under the tree.
