Chapter 68: Chapter 64 Task Completed

"The shapely Miranda..." Dean stared intently at the screen while non-stop scrolling with his mouse.

Mother F*cker, this thread is too long, leading to Dean flipping through for ages without finding the comment he wanted.

"Dean, what are you muttering about?" Across the desk, Simon looked curiously at his buddy. This guy had been incessantly browsing the opposite-sex dating community since morning, ostensibly to check user feedback, but Simon had his doubts.

Dean stopped his mouse and flexed his fingers slightly. "Nothing much, just checking for any sensitive comments. You know, these guys can say anything. To keep those beautiful girls from voting to shut down the thread, I need to keep an eye on the comment section."

"Are you sure it’s not to check out the girls’ measurements?" Simon glanced at the half-written advertisement copy in his hand and suddenly felt the allure of the US Dollar wasn’t so strong anymore. "Dean, how about I take over reviewing the comments?"

"No! I’m almost done!" Dean rejected Simon’s offer without a second thought, "Simon, you have a real knack for language, and the clients really like the ads you write. I’m counting on you for this task, Come On!"

Now, not many of the advertisers on Price’s List could adeptly use the website. Especially those small and medium-sized companies, some of which might not even have a computer.

For these few US Dollar-a-piece advertisement posts, the text work was entirely up to Dean and his team. No way around it, they had to earn money and also wanted to enhance the reputation of Price’s List. That meant working a bit harder, no shame in that~

Of course, many companies would write their copy in advance and then email it directly to Dean and them, so they could just copy and paste. Otherwise, relying solely on Dean and Simon, they probably couldn’t handle all of it.

Shaking his fingers, Dean wondered if he should add a search function to the forum. Otherwise, looking for historical record posts was always such a hassle, and that was just torture.

After flipping through two more pages in the top-ranking posts of the opposite-sex dating community, Dean finally found that ID.

"The shapely Miranda... wow~" Dean’s mouth gaped open, "90cm, 60cm, 90cm?"

He gestured across his chest with his hands, and Dean’s smile grew increasingly twisted. Who would have thought this Yale girl would have such substance?

Turning to glance at the occasional cold breeze outside the window, Dean fiercely flipped his middle finger. Mother F*cker, blame it on Cleveland’s cold winters—girls are all wrapped up in down jackets and coats, hiding any good figure from his view.

969, Dean quietly noted the number, wondering when he would have the chance to verify it.

Ding-a-ling~ The telephone on the desk interrupted Dean’s daydreams.

"Dean, I’m downstairs. You remember we’re supposed to test the C-Link at Case today, right?"

"Of course, I’ve been ready, Miranda." Dean parted the curtains to see the red BMW Mini parked across the street from his dorm.

Waving downward, Dean hung up the phone and grabbed his backpack, ready to head out.

"Come On, buddy, why is it always me home alone~" Ever since Price’s List started taking ads, Simon’s time spent in the dorm had increased.

At the sight of Dean heading out, he couldn’t contain his itching desire. At their age, fields and parties were their ultimate destination.

"Simon, I’ll be back in two hours. And remember, we posted flyers around the school a couple of days ago looking for students willing to work part-time. Three people have already contacted me, and I think we’ll find suitable candidates among them." Before leaving, Dean finally gave Simon some good news.

"Yay~ I can finally free my hands." Simon’s experience over the past month had made him slightly averse to the profession of coding.

He couldn’t comprehend how Dean managed to clickety-clack away in front of the computer all night and still be energetic for classes the next day.

"By the way, Dean, how much are you planning to pay them? Sitting in front of a computer and typing seems easy, but without a basic knowledge of computers, it’s not an easy task."

"About 50 US Dollars a week. I specifically looked for girls from the sociology faculty. They are suitable for this work, composing simple and understandable ad copy, and occasionally acting as customer service, which can free us from a load of repetitive work."

Dean had already applied for an unused classroom from the student activity center to temporarily serve as the Price’s List office.

Always being in the dorm was inconvenient; it affected rest, and space was limited. Luckily, Dean knew Miranda, and he got that temporary office by filling out a form without spending a penny.

Knowing that Dean had taken care of these trivial matters, Simon finally settled back in front of the computer, starting to look forward to the days when he would have his own office.

Descending the stairs to Miranda’s car, the first thing Dean did after opening the door was to peep under the driver’s seat. Unfortunately, a long skirt obscured the limited space.

"Disappointed, ah?" Miranda, wearing sunglasses, intentionally lowered her gaze, ready to laugh at his reaction.

"Honestly, a bit," Dean regretfully stowed his backpack in the back seat, but as he turned his head, Miranda’s figure-hugging black sweater caught his attention.

Wow, look at those proud peaks, 969?

"For you, I especially chose a skirt today." Seeming to have teased him successfully, Miranda was in a good mood.
