Chapter 61 - 61 61 Discount Coupon
61: Chapter 61: Discount Coupon 61: Chapter 61: Discount Coupon “shit!
I said we couldn’t get greedy!
He’s been mixing fakes in there for us!!” The white guy with the green mohawk and a nose ring was furious, picking up a baseball bat, “I’ve got to find him and give him a good beating!”
“That guy has already moved to Austin, Texas, how are you going to find him?” Another guy with dark makeup and tattoos over his face said resignedly and weakly, “We’ve been duped on this deal!”
Fitz let out a wail, “No!
My fifty US dollars!!”
Jason also said angrily, “Damn it!
The local gangs are just so impolite!”
“Maybe we could plant the remaining seeds, and in a few months, we could make Mexican sorghum wraps?” Allen Zhang suggested strangely as he watched the others wail.
“The planting takes too long, and the price of the grain isn’t worth anything, better drop it.” They shook their heads in defeat.
“We’re leaving!
We need to find new business to do, the keys to the basement of this house are with you now!
Jason.”
The two guys waved their hands, said goodbye, and prepared to leave this sorrowful place, leaving the keys to the room behind, and rode away on their motorcycles.
Only a few people remained in the basement, staring at each other.
“How about we sell the remaining sorghum seeds as castor seeds?”
Simone suggested, “At least we shouldn’t waste it; we need to make back the money you guys lost.”
“Who would think of growing plants if they aren’t desperate for money?
We can’t even sell to gang members because if they find out these are sorghum seeds, they’ll definitely take revenge on us!” Jason retorted.
But then it was as if he had an epiphany, “Wait, I’ve got a great idea!!”
“We could sell to those high schoolers attending parties!” Jason said excitedly, “Teens at that age love to brag, act like they’re from the streets.
If we can trick them into pushing sorghum seeds to their hands, we could make a fortune!”
“And then we report them to their parents?
Get them to supervise strictly?
With the minors under control, we make money, and everyone’s happy?” Fitz said with an odd expression.
Watching Jason nod, Fitz felt like he’d been played.
Immediately cursing: “Fxxk!
How did you know I was conned just like that initially!
The only difference is, those heartless bastards sold us chalk dust as drugs, causing me sinusitis!”
“That’s a good thing, isn’t it?
At least since then you’ve never had the courage to touch that stuff again.” Jason laughed heartily.
Allen Zhang watched with interest as the three bickered.
Discussing where to meet to sell sorghum seeds to minors.
He wasn’t too interested and inspected the basement facilities, rummaging around, finding a stack of cards in a drawer.
Opening them, he found a thick stack of discount coupons, at least a few hundred.
“You guys don’t want these?” Allen Zhang asked in surprise, a highest discount of 34.99 US dollars?
So many?
Isn’t this basically getting something for free?
“If you can get it for a Zero-Dollar Purchase, who would pay for it, even if the coupon says it’s 90% off.”
Jason joked: “Well, actually these can’t be used anymore, not that they’ve expired, but they probably belonged to the previous tenant who was arrested a year ago for dealing in counterfeit coupons.”
Making high-quality fake coupons, bonus coupons, and discount vouchers, you could get items from over a hundred retailers like Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Ziploc, and more.
For instance, if you’re buying a $25 bottle of fabric freshener at a store, with a $24.99 US dollar coupon, you only need to pay $0.10 to make the purchase.
If using a bonus coupon, sometimes the cashier even has to give 2-5 US dollars back to the shopper.
Many coupons on the market at most offer a few US dollars discount, but one that gives significant discounts or even pays you is rare, and nothing seems wrong with it.
Without exception, all through fakery.
These coupons, with barcodes and designs identical to legitimate third-party coupons, greatly reduced purchase costs.
Some criminals would even use social media like Facebook and Dropbox to resell these shopping vouchers and goods at incredibly low prices.
“That guy not only sold daily necessities offline but also went crazy selling fake coupons online, making 70k US dollars in a week!”
Fitz complained, “Later, because of uneven distribution of loot among their team, internal problems arose, they were reported and arrested.
They got sentenced to decades, with bail set at over a million.”
Indeed, all money-making businesses are written in the penal code.
“What about those who bought and used these fake shopping vouchers?
Do they also have to bear legal responsibility and face fines and detention?” Allen Zhang asked in confusion.
“That’s not necessary, many paid money, most had no idea these were fake discount coupons, they’re considered victims.
The main culprit is the one who has to take the main responsibility.
Plus, there were too many purchasers, it’s impossible to penalize them all.” Jason explained.
“Not illegal?
What are we waiting for?
Let’s divide the spoils!
The main culprit has already been arrested, the case is closed, these shopping vouchers haven’t expired, and the brand manufacturers have accepted it, isn’t it the real deal now?”
Allen Zhang, after listening, decisively divided the several stacks of discount coupons he had amongst them.
“You’ve all started Zero-Dollar Purchase and have begun planting the leaves, still afraid to use these shopping vouchers?”
“That makes sense.
But you’ve given all the shopping vouchers to us, why aren’t you using any?” The three of them looked at Allen Zhang, who had empty hands, and were puzzled.
“Because I’m afraid of going to jail.”
Allen Zhang spoke candidly; he liked to tell the truth, “You go to the supermarket to redeem the goods, then distribute them among us, isn’t that fine?”
“Fxxk you!!”
The three of them immediately flipped him off.
So, you want both the money and the goods but don’t want to take any risks at all?
Are you Asians all like this?
They finally understood what being the ‘smart one’ meant.
Allen Zhang chuckled, be understanding, smart people are all like this.
You just charge ahead, and if something actually happens, Dave and I will be right behind you to bail you out.
Some play in the jungle, some engage in online PK, but there’s always someone needed to guard the base, right?
So why can’t that person be me?
Stepping out the door, the group split up.
Simone took her discount coupons to the nearby supermarkets and convenience stores to attempt bug-abusing her shopping.
This was basically the same as Zero-Dollar Purchase, using the bonus coupons was virtually tantamount to robbery!
You could nab several US Dollars in one go.
The cashier couldn’t for the life of her figure out why, after purchasing so much, the supermarket was still losing money.
Despite the painful look of having lost her mother, the cashier had to pack up the items obediently and hand them over to you, even wishing you to “come again” with a smile!
Jason and Fitz went off to look for some gullible fools on the street to offload the sorghum seeds.
Thinking that if sales were good, they’d specifically purchase stock to set up shop outside various schools, teaching those inexperienced high school students a lesson, and making a quick buck.
You like smoking the leaves?
Great, then you’re about to face the most important lesson of your life!
After getting drenched yourself, make sure to snap someone else’s umbrella too.
The day went by in the blink of an eye.
Allen Zhang returned to the bridge headquarters and counted his cash, and after spending, he was left with only 2295 US Dollars.
It really was like spending money like water; he would have to pay for the RV maintenance soon.
In the evening, Simone arrived loaded with big and small bags of daily supplies scammed for free.
Bug-abusing successful.
Allen Zhang didn’t stand on ceremony either, picking out a large bag of snacks, air fresheners, antibacterial wipes, razors, a few pairs of socks, and left the rest for Dominic and Sieg.
He praised the black sister for being really capable!
Simone rolled her eyes at him, flipped him off, and walked away.
She went to find little Lori from the nearby bridge hole to discuss hitting other supermarkets the next day to sweep goods, then going to other communities to resell those products cheaply.
After all, Black who was two meters tall could take a beating and was strong, too good not to use.
Going to the supermarket alone and carrying things back and forth was really tiring for her, and selling goods alone in some neighborhoods wasn’t very safe; she could get robbed easily.
Little Lori was originally not interested in these matters, not wanting to disrupt his begging plans.
He intended to go to other busy street areas under the overpass, aiming to take his begging to new heights within a week!
Dragging a limp leg to wipe windows of 200 cars a day!!
But Simone pulled out a few large bonus coupons and even promised to split the proceeds from the sales with him, so Lori immediately agreed without hesitation!
Black was very enthusiastic, willingly taking on the role of a gallant protector and a laborer for heavy lifting.
