Chapter 171 171: Ladies Of The Cardinal Family.

Lily and Leo were driving a car together as they headed to meet the Mister and Mrs. Rouge. The car drove for half an hour before they reached the place, and Leo carried Lily outside the vehicle.

They spotted Symphony standing in the distance ready to greet them. She had come over personally because the two people had no idea where Symphony lived exactly. The young lady came over, and bowed to Leo who nodded with a faint smile and he said, "Don't be so polite."

Symphony just smiled without saying anything as she led them inside the building. There was no elevator, and the lobby had a faint stench of dampness lingering in the air.

The young man didn't say anything, he was used to laying in his own stench, so this was now a second habit for him. However, Lily frowned for a moment before she smiled. Leo asked, "What made you smile?"

Lily replied, "The old house was like this too."

The old house in her mouth was the place where she had spent three years of her life. In the past three months, her life had changed a lot but it was still not enough to wash out the struggle from her mind.

Leo smiled at her words and Lily asked, "Baba, can we go back to the old house once in a while?"

'Ping: It is detected that Lily wishes to visit the old house, host, help her realize her wish, and you will gain eighty percent stock in Precedent Realtors.'

The young man frowned for a second but then he nodded and said, "I will see what we can do, Baby. I have to discuss this with Ma."

Lily nodded and they saw that Symphony had stopped in front of a door, and said, "This is where I live, Mister Cardinal, Lily, welcome."

She turned the key and with a click the door opened. The trio went inside, and Leo found an old couple sitting in the living room, they were wearing humble clothing but their face had a vital glow radiating.

Symphony made the introductions, she said, "This is my Grandfather, Professor Arnold Rouge, and this is my Grandmother, Dr. Anna Rouge."

Leo smiled and said, "Good morning, Uncle, Aunty. Forgive us for disturbing you so early in the morning.I am Leo Cardinal."

The old couple smiled and they waved their heads as Anna said, "It's alright, Mister Cardinal, it is thanks to you that our daughter has managed to lead a good life, and thank you for saving Symphony as well."

Leo shook his head and replied, "Please don't patronize me, I only did what was right and a humane thing to do."

The old man looked at Lily and asked gently, "Who might you be, little one?"

Lily smiled and patted her Baba's arm, who put her on the ground, and the little goblin walked up to the old Professor and held his hand as she said, "Grandpa, I am Lily Cardinal, you can call me Lily. Also, I noticed, your shirt looks very nice on you."

Her words caused the old man to smile and Leo was wondering if this girl had taken classes on how to flatter people. He took off his overcoat and hung it on the hook on the wall before he watched Lily occupy the mind of the two elders and the young man said, "I will be in the kitchen, allow me to cook something for the elders."

Symphony wanted to say no, and the same was the case with the old people, but Leo countered them all and said, "Lily loves to eat my cooking on a weekend."

And that was the end of the discussion.

Snow was sitting in a high end restaurant, and opposite her sat Jimmy Shelby and Alina, the two of them were surprised when they found Snow standing at the gates of the train station.

The young lady had come over with a couple of guards and they both carried weapons that intimidated the couple. Snow took a sip of the coffee and said, "You two can relax, I have no intention to harm you at all. However, I needed some answers and for that I had to use intimidation to get you to sit down."

Jimmy furrowed his brows and asked, "What do you want to know, Snow?"

Snow asked, "What is your connection with Carole Primal?"

Jimmy frowned, and Snow said, "I know that you have told everything to Leo in the past, but what you have to understand here is, unlike him, I don't believe in forgive and forget.

You were his friend, that was why he was willing to look away from what you did, trusting you completely, but do you know how I knew that you would be coming here?"

Alina raised her brow sharply and asked, "You sent people to watch us?"

Snow smiled and said, "Have you forgotten my identity?"

The next moment, her smile vanished, and she said, "For the past three months, you have been in touch with the sister of Carole Primal, Jun Primal, do you deny that?"

Snow was not bluffing, at least, not entirely. She had informed the men to dig into what Jimmy and Alina had been doing for the past few months. And in the morning she reviewed all those details to find that Jun and Alina were in touch.

Jimmy was shocked, he turned to look at his wife, who bowed her head and said, "It was really hard for us right after the wedding, and she was the one who helped me. These days, I have been paying her back and that's it."

Snow scoffed and asked, "Do you really want me to believe that among that bunch of opportunistic swines, Jun is an angel?"

Alina shook her head and said, "No, Jun is not an angel, she gave me the money to conceive the baby, and then she confirmed that my child has nothing to do with Carole via paternity test and now she is torturing me with money returns."

Snow snorted and she looked at the two people clearly, "If you stay in your line, it would be fine. However, if you try to make a case against the Cardinal Family, you will regret it for the rest of your life."

The two people knew that Snow was not bluffing, but they didn't show it on their faces. However, this small change didn't escape Snow's observation and she paid the bill before leaving the place and saying to Axel, "Get someone to..."
