Feeling helpless, Shangguan Xuanyi had to finally take Xiao’er out with him.

Shangguan Xuanyi had arranged to meet Jiang Yuheng at a tea house.

By the time they arrived, Jiang Yuheng was already waiting there. Seeing the two enter the private room, he stood up and paid his respects.

Once the three of them sat down, Shangguan Xuanyi glanced at Jiang Yuheng: "Do you know why I asked to meet you?"

"You know about my background." Dali replied calmly, as if his background was not important to him.

During their first meeting yesterday, he noticed that the two of them were looking at him differently. He guessed that they knew who he was and thought he could finally know his identity. When he asked about it, however, they responded in an evasive manner and then continued as if they didn’t know him.

This made him think that they were not going to reveal his identity.

This was not surprising. Perhaps he was just unlucky and ran into an enemy from his past. Naturally, they would not tell him about his past in that case.

Originally, he planned to secretly investigate the identities of the two and find out about his own past, but to his surprise, they summoned him again early this morning.

"Do you really not remember anything?" Xiao’er couldn’t help asking.

Dali shook his head.

"Have you seen a doctor?"

"The doctor said I had hit my head and suffered a severe injury. If I hadn’t lost my memory, I would have become an idiot!" he still remembered the severe injuries he had sustained. It took him two months of bed rest to recover. Back then, his adoptive father worked as a laborer during the day and a watchman at night, earning silver to buy him medicine and treat his wounds which ultimately saved his life.

Therefore, once he recovered, he resolutely acknowledged the watchman as his adoptive father. Regardless of whether he could recover his identity, he planned to support his lonely adoptive father for the rest of his life, for he was his second parents.

Xiao’er blinked, "You might have lost your memory due to a blood clot pressing against your brain."

"Who am I? And who are you?" He didn’t know if he had a blood clot in his brain. He had seen many doctors over the years and none could help him regain his memory. He didn’t dare to harbor any hope.

"You are Jiang Yuheng, the former heir to the Duke of Zhen’s mansion." Shangguan Xuanyi spoke.

Yes, the former heir, because the present heir of the Duke of Zhen’s mansion was his cousin.

"He is Prince Rui, and I am his wife." Xiao’er added.

If Jiang Yuheng expected Shangguan Xuanyi to explain in detail everything that had happened in the past few years, that was impossible. He wasn’t a gossip.

Xiao’er had to resist rolling her eyes at her husband. Such a dry statement, how could it stir up any memories?

"Brother Guan, you should tell about how Young Master Jiang and the Fifth Princess romantically spent time together under the moon and flowers. Just saying that one sentence, how could it stimulate memory? Are you suggesting he should remember how to hire a matchmaker or how to exchange betrothal letters?" A woman who remained unmarried for a man for ten years must have deep feelings for him.

"How would I know how they spent time romancing under the moon and flowers, I was not there watching." Shangguan Xuanyi also wanted to roll his eyes upon hearing this.
