"Tomorrow, we will see the sunrise first, then watch the tide in the afternoon, and enjoy the moon at night. The day after tomorrow, we can visit Yunlin Temple." Xiao’er said excitedly.

Shangguan Xuanyi looked at the ecstatic Xiao’er. Why was she saying all these plans to someone else instead of him?

Shangguan Xuanyi glanced at the little figure in Di Shaowei’s arms and said, "Shaowei, our schedule is packed. Moreover, you are bringing Xiaoxiao along, and she is still young. I’m afraid she might get exhausted. Maybe we should split up!"

After several days of tiring travel, everyone ate and washed up before heading to bed.

The next day, Shangguan Xuanyi was up before dawn and helped the still-sleeping Xiao’er get dressed.

Xiao’er, now awake, yawned. "What time is it?"

"Just past Yinshi (around 3 am)."

Since getting married, she shifted her martial arts training from night to day inside the space because she was too tired at night and couldn’t get up the next day. Now, she was completely exhausted.

Seeing Xiao’er struggling to stay awake, Shangguan Xuanyi secretly grinned. He helped her dress and said, "I’ll carry you to the carriage. You can continue sleeping there."

Upon hearing this, Xiao’er nodded and drifted back to sleep, completely forgetting the plan to set out with Di Shaowei’s whole family.

This time they finally managed to ditch Di Shaowei’s family, as it was really too early.

From the exhausted days of travel, Di Shaowei’s family didn’t wake up until late in the morning, by which time Shangguan Xuanyi had already whisked Xiao’er away!

"Xiaoxiao, will you let daddy take you to see the sunrise tomorrow?"

Xiaoxiao shook her head. "No, liar!"

"Jingya, did you hear that, Xiaoxiao can say ’liar’ now!" Di Shaowei was delighted.

Ming Jingya was speechless. Was there really a reason to rejoice when Xiaoxiao called him a liar?

"Daddy, sunrise." Realizing that her father’s focus was different from hers, Xiaoxiao reminded him again.

"Alright, fine. Daddy will take you to see the sunrise." He had promised. He couldn’t break it, especially since it was for his daughter! Carrying Xiaoxiao, Di Shaowei walked into the garden.

Jingya followed behind the father-daughter pair, feeling a bit uneasy.

Inside the garden, Di Shaowei climbed on top of a large rock, carrying Xiaoxiao, and pointed towards the dazzling sun in the sky. "Xiaoxiao, look, the sunrise! Isn’t it dazzling and beautiful?"

Xiaoxiao raised her head to look at the sun in the sky. The sun was too bright, so she lowered her head instinctively. Then she tilted her head as if thinking something.

’Is this the sunrise? What’s so special about it? It’s there every day.’
