Chapter 387: Chapter 378: Dragon Egg!

Upon hearing Mo Wangchen’s words, Qin Yue fell silent for a moment before nodding her head.

She walked out from among the crowd and also arrived just outside the cave entrance.

"What, she’s going in too?"

The faces of the powerhouses from the major forces and Saint Heir figures all showed a flustered surprise.

However, as they were astonished, Qin Yue had already begun stepping in.

Likewise, her body suddenly shook, yet she wasn’t blown back out. Her entire being was enveloped in an aura of divinity, resembling an Immortal descending to the mortal world, transcending the ordinary.

After slowly exhaling a breath, Qin Yue took a seated position on the ground, operating the Longevity Scripture spell she had comprehended at the Escape Immortal Palace, and began her cultivation.

Outside the cave, the crowd was completely dumbfounded!

"Is she actually cultivating?"

"Are they all freaks? What’s fatal curse power to the average person, they can actually cultivate inside?"

Everyone was left stunned, their faces filled with incredulity.

"And what about you all, do you want to go in and give it a try?" Mo Wangchen transmitted his voice to Zhuo Bufan and the others.

"Forget it, we don’t possess such powerful physiques..."

The crowd hesitated briefly before chuckling bitterly and feeling a twinge of envy. They understood that possessing a special physique, like Wu Lingfeng and Qin Yue had, would inevitably allow them to grow into formidable figures among the younger generation within the Canglan Star Domain.

It was only a matter of time.

Mo Wangchen nodded, then transmitted his voice again, "Then wait here, I’ll go in and have a look."

Having said that, he directly stepped towards the inside of the cave.

"This person was even able to pursue Ye Qian, he must be the strongest among them. I wonder if he can also enter?"

"I found it strange as well; why are they perfectly fine inside, while we age decades in an instant upon entering?"

"Could it be that a special body constitution offers some resistance to that Curse Power?" murmured Ye Qian, narrowing his eyes, aware that both Wu Lingfeng and Mo Wangchen had unique physiques.

Boom!

Soon, Mo Wangchen stepped into the cave as well. A powerful pressure descended upon him, causing his body to shake, and simultaneously within the Spirit Sea, the golden little sword vibrated intensely, drawing continuous strength onto the blade. A golden glow shrouded Mo Wangchen.

In the next moment, the oppressive force bearing down upon him sharply lessened. Mo Wangchen slowly let out a breath, muttering to himself, "Not bad, just a bit stronger than that cave in the Emperor Fallen Mountain Range I encountered before."

After speaking, he peered into the depths of the cave. Aside from the entrance area which was somewhat bright, the deep interior was pitch black, obscured from view.

He took out the Sun-Shooting Divine Bow, holding it in hand, and then amidst all the incredulous stares from outside the cave, he slowly walked further in.

"How is this possible?"

"This fellow hasn’t been affected by the Curse Power, and he can even move further into the cave?!"

They were utterly flabbergasted, feeling as if what they were witnessing overturned all their understanding.

"My friend, may I ask where do you all hail from?"

Outside the cave, many people started to approach Zhuo Bufan and his group, wishing to inquire about something.

"Tiannan." Zhuo Bufan and the others exchanged glances but did not conceal the truth.

"Tiannan?"

Hearing this, others looked at each other with slight astonishment, murmuring, "Tiannan has always been sealed off by a Barrier. I’ve heard that the Starry Sky Ancient Road was only recently opened..."

"So they are all Saint Heir figures from Tiannan? No wonder their overall strength doesn’t seem very high."

...

Mo Wangchen was obviously unaware of what was happening outside the cave. By now, he had ventured deep into the cave for about half an hour and still couldn’t see the end—it seemed quite deep.

Furthermore, the deeper he went, the stronger the Curse Power became. Mo Wangchen’s breaths had grown heavier.

Whoo...

Suddenly, a low moan came from not too far ahead, sending a jolt through Mo Wangchen’s heart.

"Jiao Long!"

He recognized it—a low growl from a Jiao Long, but the sound was extremely weak, "That Jiao Long had been injured by two Saint Venerables when it fled into the Fallen Immortal Forest; it must be very weak now."

Thinking this, Mo Wangchen didn’t dare to be careless. He slightly drew the Sun-Shooting Divine Bow, ready to launch an attack at any moment.

Continuing deeper into the cave, it wasn’t long before Mo Wangchen noticed some golden luster twinkling ahead. He bent down and proceeded with utmost caution.

After about a dozen more steps, Mo Wangchen finally saw clearly that the golden luster was, in fact, a long dragon tail!

His gaze probed further, and he saw that the Jiao Long’s body was massive. Now curled up into a ball, laying in the cave—if stretched out, it was probably a hundred meters long, covered in golden scales, with whiskers as thick as the mouth of a bowl on its dragon head.

"Hmm?!"

It didn’t take long for Mo Wangchen to realize that the Jiao Long’s breath was extremely weak, as if it could die at any moment.

"Roar!"

He moved forward cautiously, then the Jiao Long suddenly let out a deafening roar, having noticed Mo Wangchen.

Mo Wangchen’s face changed, but he didn’t flee because the Jiao Long was far too weak to launch an attack.

"This is an Old Dragon!"

"Roar, roar, roar!"

The Jiao Long roared furiously, seemingly trying to drive Mo Wangchen away, not allowing him any closer.

With a furrowed brow, Mo Wangchen put away the Sun-Shooting Divine Bow. This Old Dragon could die at any moment, posing no threat to people any longer.

Soon, he saw something—the Old Dragon seemed to be protecting something within its coiled body.

"Dragon Egg?!"

He was startled to see a giant Dragon Egg; the shell was already cracked, and a small Young Dragon lay coiled inside, its eyes still closed.

The Young Dragon was also extremely weak, as if it could die at any moment.

"This Young Dragon has just been born. The Curse Power here is too strong and is greatly harming it," Mo Wangchen thought to himself.

His eyes suddenly lit up—acquiring a Young Dragon to raise from a young age could potentially turn it into a formidable Spiritual Pet with astonishing combat prowess in the future.

"I mean no harm. The Curse Power here is strong; your child cannot stay here long," Mo Wangchen said as he carefully approached the Old Dragon.

"Roar!"

The Old Dragon had awakened its Spiritual Wisdom and could understand some of Mo Wangchen’s words—but it wasn’t about to truly believe him just because of what he said.

It roared again, preventing Mo Wangchen from getting closer. An invisible pressure spread, descending upon Mo Wangchen.

"Dragon Power!"

Mo Wangchen’s face changed, and he turned significantly paler. Dragon Power, that was a pressure only a True Dragon could release.

"This Jiao Long’s body flows with the blood of a True Dragon, born from an Ancient True Dragon, not through distant lineage!"

His heart shook with the revelation. A Jiao Long that had survived since the Ancient Times was almost unbelievable. No wonder legends said that dragons were the leaders of all spiritual beings, possessing endless lifespans. Even an Emperor Realm Great Power could not possibly have lived from the Ancient Times until now, right?
