After Prison, She Shocks the World
Chapter 24 I’m Waiting for Your Retaliation

Chapter 24: Chapter 24 I’m Waiting for Your Retaliation

How blind must she have been three years ago to fall in love with Qin Jinhai?

She had fallen in love with a devil.

Someone who destroyed everything she had!

The smile on Qin Jinhai’s face became ever more cruel. He strode over to her. "I’m waiting for your revenge! Until then, you’re just a woman for me to play with as I please!"

Qin Jinhai swept her up in his arms and threw her onto the soft couch in the private room. He pinned her down, his weight suppressing her every move.

In her struggle, Fu Bing knocked over a decorative lamp in the room.

Suddenly, it was pitch black. It took a long while for her eyes to readjust to the darkness.

The only source of light in the room was the landscape lighting on the riverbank—dazzling, vibrant, luminous. Yet it couldn’t dispel the darkness and suffocating desire within the private room.

"Qin Jinhai, you disgust me!"

Qin Jinhai gripped her chin, forcing her to look up. Their eyes met—hers filled with loathing, his with cold mockery.

"If you hadn’t ruined Li Qing’s career, you wouldn’t have been reduced to serving me."

"There are plenty of other female stars in the entertainment industry. They’d welcome you with open arms!"

"I only want the most famous one. In the current entertainment industry, who is more famous than you?" Qin Jinhai’s hand caressed Fu Bing’s face.

Fu Bing felt as if a venomous snake had licked her, a coldness that made her shiver.

"Pervert!"

"Sinking beneath a pervert so many times, what does that make you?" Qin Jinhai leaned in close, his nose touching hers. "Fu Bing, you’re a smart adult. Why cling to past complications? Wouldn’t it be better to enjoy our new relationship?"

Fu Bing stared at him, her eyes lifeless. The hatred in her chest almost turned tangible, enough to strangle the man before her. She was usually so adept, always knowing how to navigate any situation with grace. But against Qin Jinhai, none of it worked! Despair flooded her eyes in that instant.

Qin Jinhai covered her eyes.

All that remained before Fu Bing was complete darkness. A touch of warmth brushed her lips. At first, it was gentle, as if coaxing—a gentleness unlike Qin Jinhai. Then, it became a fierce pressure, as if he intended to crush her.

Tears streamed from the corners of Fu Bing’s eyes, disappearing into her dark hair. Qin Jinhai felt the wetness on his hand. His taking grew more violent. He tried to use passion to force the despair from their bodies.

Qin Sheng’s angry words still echoed in his ears.

"Fu Bing must not have any collaboration with the Su Family!"

"If you can’t do that, I’ll destroy the only remaining clues to Fu Bing’s true parentage, ensuring you can never help her find her real family!"

Why do others just need love to get through life together? Why is it so difficult for him and Fu Bing? If not for Fu Bing, he wouldn’t have cared if he killed his father and abandoned his family. The world was dull; death would just be death. But Fu Bing was in his world... He wanted to walk with her for a long, long time.

Her clothes were torn to shreds. Fu Bing had no way to retreat and was forced to endure everything Qin Jinhai inflicted. Qin Jinhai seemed insatiable, deliberately tormenting her each time. Fu Bing was soon dragged into a deep sea of desire, tossed about by its turbulent waves, forced to sink and resurface.

Qin Jinhai became the only piece of driftwood she could cling to.

When everything had calmed down, Fu Bing pushed Qin Jinhai away.

Qin Jinhai tossed his jacket over her. Though Fu Bing loathed everything about Qin Jinhai, she had no choice but to drape his jacket over herself.

Qin Jinhai glanced at the scratch marks on his back.

"Little wildcat."

Fu Bing ignored him.

Qin Jinhai placed a set of keys and a gate card on the table. "These are the keys to two villas in Imperial Garden and the community gate card. Move in tomorrow."

"What about my assets?"

"That villa of yours in Imperial Garden is part of your assets. You can let your group of disabled friends live there. As for you, you must live in my villa."

"When will you give me my money?"

"When I feel like it."

Fu Bing didn’t even want to get angry anymore. Getting angry with Qin Jinhai was useless; it only served to drive her to the brink of madness.

Qin Jinhai fastened the last cufflink on his white shirt. "Wait here obediently. I’m going out to buy you some clothes."

With that, he quickly went downstairs.

Fu Bing shifted her legs, gasping from the pain. Her legs were still numb from the position she’d been in earlier. She glared at the ceiling, struggling to suppress her emotions.

Qin Jinhai returned within half an hour, bringing a bowl of sweet fermented rice balls with him.

When Fu Bing saw it, her heart filled with mixed feelings. She didn’t understand what Qin Jinhai was really up to. Did he love her, or did he hate her?

Seeing her spacing out, Qin Jinhai gently patted her cheek. "Go get dressed. I’m taking you home."

Fu Bing took the paper bag filled with clothes. It contained a complete set of clothes, from undergarments to outerwear.

Fu Bing got out of bed, her steps unsteady. Qin Jinhai was 189cm tall, Fu Bing 171cm. His jacket hung loosely on her, barely covering her thighs. Her jade-white legs, stark against the loose, pure black jacket, were the epitome of temptation, especially given her unsteady walk.

Qin Jinhai’s gaze was deep, tracing every inch of her skin. The heat that had just subsided within him instantly flared up again, like a spark igniting a wildfire.

Fu Bing had barely taken two steps before the brute of a man grabbed her by the waist from behind and lifted her. His scorching breath fanned across her neck.

"It should be quite an experience in the bathroom."

Before Fu Bing could resist, he carried her into the bathroom. The bathroom here was cramped; there was barely enough space for two people to turn around. Qin Jinhai pinned her against the bathroom wall.

Her dark hair, slightly damp, cascaded messily around her. Apart from his black suit jacket, she wore nothing else. The black fabric made her skin, as smooth and lustrous as jade, appear even fairer, creating an intense, provocative contrast.

Cold walls were at Fu Bing’s back, while Qin Jinhai stood before her. She was trapped, with no way forward and no way back. Ultimately, her struggles only resulted in him treating her more fiercely.

When Fu Bing awoke, she was in her own bed. It wasn’t the apartment rented by Xiaomei, but the bed in the villa she had purchased years ago. Though she hadn’t been here in three years, everything remained hauntingly familiar. Fu Bing covered her eyes with her hand, waiting a long moment for them to adjust before she surveyed the room again.

She was back!

Someone had cleaned Fu Bing’s body and dressed her in her old favorite: a silk, lotus-pink nightgown. If Qin Jinhai truly wanted to put on an act, he could convincingly play the role of the perfect man, fulfilling a woman’s every conceivable desire.

With a stony expression, Fu Bing changed her clothes and went downstairs. Qin Jinhai was not there. She headed straight for the garage.

Her garage housed seven cars: sedans, sports cars, SUVs, and even a limited-edition RV developed by Mercedes-Benz Headquarters. They, too, were spotless. Clearly, someone had been maintaining them all this time.

Fu Bing used her fingerprint to unlock and drive out the most inexpensive car, a Ford.

When Xiaomei saw Fu Bing, she was so overwhelmed with excitement that she almost burst into tears. "Sis, you had me worried to death! If I hadn’t been afraid of the media sensationalizing things, I would’ve called the police last night."

"Sorry, it wasn’t convenient to use my phone over there."

Only after calming down did Xiaomei notice the deliberately concealed kiss marks on Fu Bing’s collarbone. Knowing her sister, the man involved could only be Qin Jinhai; it wouldn’t be anyone else.

She hesitated, but couldn’t stop herself from asking, "Sis, you and Qin Jinhai, you..."

"These are adult matters; children shouldn’t meddle," Fu Bing said, smiling as she patted Xiaomei’s head. "I can handle it. Don’t worry."

"I’m never worried about you handling other things. But as soon as Qin Jinhai is involved, your common sense flies out the window."

"So, my dear little sister, you were just waiting for a chance to tease me, weren’t you?" Fu Bing said.

Xiaomei giggled.

Suddenly, a knock came from the door outside.
