Chen Feng had a deep sleep as soon as he got home, only to be woken up by his phone’s ringing.

It was Lin Wan calling, asking if he had set out yet.

Chen Feng said he would meet up with them right away.

After hanging up the phone, he checked the time and found it was already six in the evening. He hurriedly got out of bed, got dressed, washed his face, and then left after tidying up a bit.

There she stood at the big road entrance to the residential area, clutching a small square bag to her chest, looking as if she were on her way to a red carpet event at an awards ceremony.

Pedestrians passing by, including drivers, would slow down when they reached her, frequently turning their heads to look.

Chen Feng had expected her to dress up nicely, but her get-up was really over the top!

On the other hand, Wu Mengting was very understated and casual; she wore jeans and a wool sweater underneath a woolen coat, giving off a very relaxed and comfortable vibe.

Most importantly, Wu Mengting was wearing sneakers - after all, with the temperature at night around just over ten degrees, it was still somewhat cold outside.

The three got into the car, Chen Feng took out his phone, opened the navigation app, and started planning the route; it was about ten kilometers, and they were expected to arrive in half an hour.

The navigation app was quite accurate; stop-and-go traffic led them to the private restaurant on Chaoyang Road just a few minutes away from the agreed upon seven o’clock.

Luckily, they weren’t late; otherwise, it would have been a bit rude. Qin Zhen would be fine, but mainly it was his girlfriend who mattered.

They had invited them for dinner, and it would have been bad form if they’d been late.

Qin Zhen and Ning Wei had, of course, already arrived.

Seeing this, Lin Wan and Wu Mengting also took a small sip each.

Wu Mengting spoke up with a smile, "This must be authentic rock tea, right? I’ve had it before and it seems to taste just like this."
